Location of hotel is perfect. As usual staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. I will continue to stay at the Blake for every visit. Thank You
No bad experiences at all!
This was a grest hotel and awesome location. Loved value for money and short walk to wherever you needed to go. Only drawback is no hotel breakfast and place adjacent to hotel had pretty poor service but this isn't the hotels fault. Rooms were really quiet!
Our room faced the city which was great but it was so warm early in morning and our room did not cool down at all even when set at 62.
The doorman Showtime is just like his nickname! He's curteous and a wealth of knowledge. The room is super spacious, the bed was comfortable.
The hotel ran out of bottled water so I had to walk to cvs, which I felt one staff member or manager should've taken the initiative to do. Vending machine was out of water, and There is only one ice machine, which is on the 12th floor
comfort, wi-fi, fitness center, clean, very helpful Staff
Great location Helpful staff Nice room Great Internet
The location was perfect for taking the LaSalle street station. The walk to jewelers row and Michigan avenue let alone Grant park are so quick and easy.
wifi is not bad .
location, no shuttle bus service .
The staff always great and helpful, everything in the hotel was perfect, a thousand thanks for the free upgrade such a spacious and amazing room made our stay unforgettable
The Customer service was exemplary
That i only stayed over night
great location 2mins walk from LaSalle station
Just the overall friendliness, the hotel smelled wonderful, the room was very nice and comfortable
Adorable hotel where the staff makes sure your stay runs smoothly, its also in a convenient location close to the loop with great restaurants located on either side of the street. Plus you get to check out the library which is right next door.
Rooms are outdated.
No pool or hot tub
Great place to stay!
Staff was friendly and helpful! The room was beautful and huge, and also very comfortable! Bed was cozy too,and loved the chairs to relax and wstch tv. Very convenient place to stay, great location, near the trains, and also stores. Loved it!
Great big rooms at decent price
No minibar got some odd reason
Everything was perfect except...
bad soundproofing of walls
The staff was great. The room is large with a comfortable king bed. Free wifi! A very cute hotel with an excellent restaurant connected to it. Great location.
This is the second time we've stayed here and unfortunately it was not quite as enjoyable. There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke all night, the cleaning staff was very loud in the morning and the lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Only one mirror in the whole room. I'm sure my make up looked a bit clown-like :)
The employees are very polite and the bellboy called showman was very funny too. The location Ed the hotel is amazing, near from some restaurants and the millennium park. You can go to other paces walking. So it is very good.
We liked the comfortable beds and the large, well-appointed bathroom. We also had an excellent breakfast in the adjoining restaurant.
Had attention the second I came into the lobby! The attached restaurant was excellent with great service. The rooms were large and clean. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Chicago.
Parking is expensive
We loved this hotel. It was conveniently close to the L and downtown without the downtown sticker shock. We had a handicap accessible room which was very spacious.
The other rooms are much smaller than the handicap accessible rooms and rooms on the west side of the building had no view to speak of. Since we had the handicap room we had no tub or shower stall. No problem but the bathroom tile is very slick when wet and my husband fell in the shower. We would have put a towel down had we thought about it before hand.
I wish it had not been so cold 20F. I would have like to explore the neighborhood. Short walk to the loop, but all the advantages of a Chicago neighborhood. Excellent staff and service
