The location did not show on my GPS and I had to stop and ask two people before I found someone who knew where the motel was and the parking was small. The man (John) at the desk was very helpful and said the location was hard to find. The stay was very nice and I would stay there again.

Blennerhassett Island is a must as is the museum.
Blennerhassett Island is a must as is the museum. The country store was very nice and had a great selection including food products. Our stay at the Blennerhassett Hotel was great. I would definitely recommend a trip to Parkersburg.

This property is dirty, smelly and a lot of desires les love in the rooms instead of renting homes or apartments... upon first site it looks like a trashy trailer park because those people that live there have kids toys and grills and chairs and butt buckets, bags of garbage all out from of their rooms! The maintenance seems non existence and the room cleanliness is so poor, there was built up dirt and cigarette stains on the sinks! I did not feel safe staying their because of all the loiterers hanging around on the property.

A historical Ohio River town which features the Blennerhassett Island State Park. The sternwheeler river boat ferries passengers to and from the park where one can tour the park, the mansion and take a wagon ride. There is also a museum about two blocks away from where one would catch the boat. Packages available and reasonably priced!

The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly! Especially to our pet! And no charge for her since she's a service animal and no trouble w explaining it either. Also upgraded to a suite for a minimal upcharge. Will recommend this hotel to anyone.
