Located in Southeastern Iowa, this motel is 1 mile from historic Bloomfield town centre. It serves a continental breakfast every morning and features free Wi-Fi access. Had booked a room with 2 queen beds for $61.99 plus tax and when we arrived had to pay more and were given a room that couple had not checked out of yet and they returned.(Room was cleaned and there was no sign of room being occupied)

We were pleased with the pleasant staff and the extreme cleanliness of the room. The room was spacious with full sofa and comfortable chairs. The bathroom had good counter space as well. We will definitely stay again when we are in that area. Will be even better when the restaurant is reopened.

The staff went well beyond what any other staff at a typical chain motel would do. After I checked in the clerk walked outside to make sure I could find my room and even helped carry in my bags. They were happy to answer questions about area restaurants and give directions when needed. The continental breakfast didn't offer much other than cold cereal, yogurt and pop tarts. There needed to at least be toast as well.

The hotel was cheap & felt safe. The restaurant next door was clean & basic. I would stay here in the future. I specifically got the room for the hbo however the hbo did not work. The hair dryer was broken. There was pieces of dirt behind the bed & rust around the toilet seat. The sheets smelled dirty. The pillows were flat & uncomfortable. The whole hotel had a stale smoke smell.

Location Smelled of Smoke throughout It is not a bed and breakfast - doesn't even have tables for the coffee they put out.

Close to the highway. The room was clean. Whole building smelled of stale cigarette smoke.Continental breakfast was not much of anything compared to other places we have stayed ,paying the same price. We were told that we would have HBO and we did not. Girl at the desk said she is going to make an adjustment to our bill.
