Very comfortable bed. Quiet. Good price.
Somewhat run down.
Management was very helpful, we enjoyed our short visit to Asheville.
Because it was peak season, we had to pay the going rate...a lot of money for a motel room with few amenities.
clean room, good location close to downtown, nice staff. The room had all of the amenities newer places have just older basic version. fridge, micro, old TV. A cheap basic room for a night.
old building, 1970s deco. very basic, but functional.
good location and plenty of food around. Short hop into downtown detinations
very old place. I had cigarette holes in my blanket in my 'no smoking room' My room phone rang twice during the night with no explanation or answer. This place is right out of 1963 and that was probably the last time it was remodeled. I'm not terribly picky but this place was kind of grim. If you need a place to crash, this might be the place, but that is it.
Front staff pleasant, price good
moldy smelling room
I like the location, and the low price.
I should have known that this price was too good to be true.
All the wall outlets where used by stuff in motel room. No coffee maker. Room was not clean or cleaned will we stayed here. No hot water in sink, hot water in toilet. Moldy smell in all rooms that we visited (3) before we choose one. Bugs. Had to adjust air unit ether to hot or to cold. Blanket had holes in it like mice ate at it. Paid 14% tax instead of 11% Checked listing time of stay and it was cheaper than what we paid. Paint in room had spots of different colors like they where trying to hide mold or something. Had to ask for clean towel on second day. Will not stay here again. 2 Stars is generous.
The location was the only good thing about the place. It was a five minute drive ti downtown.
First of all, they had no documentation of our booking when we arrived, so we had to pay nearly fourty dollars more for the room, which is unacceptable. The sheets were worn out and stained. Half of the light fixtures didn't work. Nothing was restocked when we returned the second day, so we had to go to the office to get toilet paper and new towels. The faucet (outside of the bathroom) sprayed everywhere except into the sink, so it soaked everything when you turned it on. It was overall a very unpleasant experience.
I loved the location, the staff, and comfort away from home. Thank you!
Location, price, last-minute\same-day availability for a Saturday night. The girl at front desk was very friendly. She suggested that we checked the room _before_ check-in.
The only thing I can say positive is it was a good location for where we needed to be
Everything. It was dirty, the toilet didn't work, the ceiling looked like it was gonna cave in on us, the blankets all had cigarette holes in them. We tried to leave but since we reserved online we were obligated. I would never recommend this place. Spend the extra money.
The bed was comfortable.
G Grossly overpriced for a dirty, unkempt property. Just the night before we had stayed at a brand new LaQuinta in Chambersburg, PA for less money. Room was dirty. Vagrants on the property. Did not feel safe there. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Was afraid we'd come home with bedbugs. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Close to downtown
-Toilet did not flush -Everything in the room was old -Everything seemed dirty -The table in our room tipped over after putting a plate of food on it because it was not attached to the base properly -Pullout couch was very uncomfortable -Paid $205.00 for 2 nights. I wouldn't pay $50 for 2 nights after staying there. Rate is ridiculous -No one else seemed to be staying at hotel. For obvious reasons. -Had to request a room change because the bed in the first room we were assigned was not made.
beds sank to floor when you sat down. Towels had stains on them. I went and bought my own. Carpet and walls dirty. Old tv with cable box and no remote. Only one channel. Booked 2 nights, could only stand to stay one. Everything else was booked, so I had no choice, but I went home early.
Nothing except they refunded my money
The bed was very comfortable
Spider in room.
Location was ok
It was a dump
Price went up after we arrived, television did not work, bathroom floor needed repair
the location was very convenient. we liked having a little balcony area.
the whole property could use some TLC
Friendly staff, immaculately clean
The pool pictured was filled in with rocks. Pretty sketchy motel, but it was quiet for sleeping. Slept and got out of there.
It was clean and the cable tv worked.
Refrigerator froze my victuals.
Bedsheets were dirty and of a kind of itching fabric. I slept completely dressed. All the furniture were old and dirty too. There was no toilette paper available in the bathroom Stay away from this place.
The room was clean, comfortable, very roomy, had a fridge and microwave. The bed and pillows were super comfy. It was very quiet and it had an extra safety latch to use while I was in so nobody could just walk in with a key. The shower head was great. Loved that so many restaurants were walking distance.
