Blue Sands is a motel that the owner has redone very well, with rooms being small but with a great sense of style, bathrooms lovely, whole place is spotless. The location is great, especially for the price of this hotel, and we also really liked the pool area as well as the outdoor area where we could sit and actually see the ocean from in front of our room. We would definitely go back.

I liked the convenience of the beach. The decor was nice and inviting.

I didn't like that the window screen door was broken and made me question out security. It was very snug for 4 people. There was a faint smell of something but could not tell you what it was. Maybe the mattress or pillow? Not sure

We came to Santa Barbara for a few nights to just get away. I found the Blue Sands Motel online and liked the location and rates. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and gave us recommendations for places to go. The room was absolutely perfect, with a fireplace, large flat screen tv, and incredibly comfy bed. The bathroom was remodeled well and the shower was great, with an extended shower head. The pool was set to 80 degrees.

The motel is in a great location, near a local shuttle and right by the beach. Friendly staff and very comfortable room.... Very well appointed for a motel of this style and price.....great value!

Welcoming and helpful owner We only had an evening there but facilities clean and even came with a wine fridge. Right next to the beach and a 5 minute drive to State street and pier.

It was, unfortunately, very cold and rainy in Santa Barbara this weekend. So we really enjoyed the fireplace. We had no complaints about the room or anything, other than the fact that our room was upstairs, so we were carrying luggage and belongings upstairs in the rain. The motel was convenient to the places we wanted to go: the beach, the zoo, restaurants, and the shopping center. The train comes through occasionally, but it didn't bother us . Just added to the atmosphere. We had a great time, in spite of the weather.

El hotel está ubicado a una cuadra de la playa. Es cómodo, buena cama, estacionamiento incluido. El personal es super amable para brindar información.

La habitación no estaba del todo limpia, había polvo, olvidaron retirar una encuesta respondida por algún huésped anterior. La habitación olía a pis y de la ducha salía un olor a cloaca nauseabundo. Fueron amables en cuanto a la voluntad para solucionarlo (tiraron un producto en la cañería), pero no lo solucionaron.

Ótima localização, funcionário atencioso (Tony), quartos renovados por dentro apesar do hotel ter um aspecto mais simples por fora.

Bem pertinho da praia,otimo lugar. Gostei da decoração do quarto , de muito bom gosto A dona do hotel muito atenciosa e simpatica. Recomendo muito o hotel.

Gute Lage, sehr nah am Meer, allerdings ins Zentrum längeren, aber angenehmer Spaziergang. Freundlicher Empfang.

Etwas eng. Schade, dass es zwar Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle gab, aber kein Geschirr oder Besteck.

Great location, across the street from East Beach. Rooms were very clean, staff was friendly. Overall a great value for the price.

Could hear noise from freeway

Our room was great. Less than 1/2 block from the beach. Room was tastefully decorated.

Mooie locatie vlak bij zee, leuke plaats, goede gratis wifi. Alles werkt en is fit for purpose. Parkeren vlak bij de kamer. Verhouding prijs vs kwaliteit is oké. Vriendelijk hotel

Ondanks dat alles functioneel en schoon is en werkt kan het wel een opknapbeurtje en een lik verf gebruiken.
