Confidence in cleanliness; easy access to Metro; good breakfast buffet

No glasses in my single room nor my friends suite. Staff not knowing or sharing info about restaurants in Potomac (2-3 miles away?) Hunters' Inn is very good. There are others we think. Staff should know about local restaurants.

nice setting, ambiance

By far smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in - period. It should be on Ripley's believe it or not! It was the size of a postage stamp, which is fitting, since the hotel is owned by the Postal Service! Also, the TV set turned on and off by itself, I almost had to unplug it to get to sleep!

The hotel was beautiful and our room was really nice and classy and we were so glad to stayl there. The hotel staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and gracious. They went out of their way for us. My 28 yr old son and I were traveling to nih to see about a clinical trial for his brain cancer. He has a very agressive form and we are extremely stressed about it. Your staff's help made a terrible situation a little easier to deal with. The only negative was that they could not find our reservation even though I had a printed copy of booking.com's email with all the info including the confirmation number. But the staff apologized and gave us a lovely room with no questions asked, so no problem on our end. I suspect it was an issue with booking.com not the hotel. We would stay here again if this hotel was on NIH's shuttle route. We will be returning to md frequently, at least once every four weeks. Thank you.

Well, just one minor thing. I have a torn acl and it was a long walk from the parking lot to our room. But that was not a really big deal and would certainly not prevent me from staying there again.

I liked the price and location, also the cleanliness.

The hotel staff was outstanding, friendly, and helpful. They were professional and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Their staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and for the price you pay is an excellent place to stay. It is very peaceful and you can experiece a relaxing or adventureuos vacattion depends on your needs. The air is so fresh and you can feel a nice breeze on your skin as you drive or bike around the area. I highly recommend it to families, business people, students and everyone that is into traveling comfortably without the very luxurios staff.

It was far from D.C. and to go to D.C. taking taxi is expensive and pulic transportation is not available early in the morning so if you have to catch a confference early in the morning you have to pay alot of money to get around.

They didn't my reservation which I did by booking.com. Tried to charge another amount even I shared the printout. I reserved a suit, they said that it was extras. I said I want the room which I booked and same room. On check out, I saw lots of extras in my bill, it was very unpleasant. Under this check out, they tried to charge 1100 usd for 735usd. This was not nice. Even I was the only customer on reseption, to make check out took 35 minutes, and even in this time, they proposed different alternatives to pay the amount which they want. It was not nice behaviour and they argued how I get this rate from booking.com

We are first attracted by the room rate. After our stay at the hotel, we are very pleased, and surprisingly love the location, environment and its worth for the value, as compared with others that we previously stayed elsewhere in the suburb of dc vicinity.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Dining room buffet was unavailable Friday evening because entire area was booked by a special group. There seemed to be adequate space to accommodate other guests. We ate dinner in the Pony Express Grill and enjoyed both the food and the waitress. We did, however, eat in the dining room buffet for breakfast. In general the food in buffet was not exceptional. All breakfast sausages and ham were dry and overcooked. However, for speed and convenience, the buffet served us well.

It was really great experience. Very relaxing after a long trip form florida to dc. We were planing to stay for four days, but we decided to stay for the end of the week. We asked the manger for up grad and he did it for us for free. I would love to stay there each time I go to dc.
