It was a blast. The kids were entertained for 2 days, even watching the same shows. I planned to go swimming with the boys, but they were too tired from ecploring! The staff was awesome, very helpful.
The only negative I can really say is that the mattresses were kind of hard. It didn't bother me, but the kids complained a bit.
It's so peaceful and every one was so Nice
It was convenient since we were there for am the ghost hunting experience
When we first got there we noticed the blanket on one of the beds was dirty. It had chocolate crumbles and what looked to be candy sprinkles. We then went into the bathroom and there was about 8 spiders in the bathtub who looked like they had been there a while. While brushing my teeth the water smelled of sewer. The headboard of the beds were dirty and had dead bugs on it. The fan was wobbly and made noise all night and the air conditioner sounded like it was ready to fly away.
The staff was wonderful - friendly and very helpful. The laundry room was very good. We came in with over a week of laundry and could wash and dry all at one time. The pool was nice and near the laundry so that we could enjoy both at once. We liked the quirky decor very much. The applique of the cactus reminded us of a friendly Gumby. The patio deck was comfortable and cool with beautiful scenery. Close walk to the restaurant. The food was so good that we ate an extra lunch.
Out of town pretty old hotel over priced.
The remote location was great & the theme was great. Enjoyed the little town & melodrama.
The resort is very dated, the furnishings are very dated & the mattresses should be replaced at least every 20 years! Over priced for the condition of the place. The petting zoo should be reported for not taking care of the animals in the high temperatures.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
$3.00 for WiFi
insects in the room.. Sucks..
Loved the views & the trails & the company
Room was not the one I booked. Coffee pot leaked water. Room was not like the picture.
It was Awsome everything
The tv I know is old style but I like to watch tv on a smart tv
category 1 hurricane 80 mph
Nice place. Rustic. Relatively clean.
Dead beetles on bathroom floor. Overpriced. Main light not working.
The clean bathroom and linens
The bugs in room. Water on the floor by sliding door. The dirt that blow in from around the windows. The lock on front door most of time didn,t work and had to get help from staff.
I loved the quaintness.
I believe it was over priced. Going to the restaurant from the roomyou went by trash bins and junk. It also smelled like a barn yard.
it was very relaxing
no refrigerator in room.
We liked everything but the price, We plan to return every year around April or May. The staff was very helpful in ever thing. We loved our room, I would add a few more things to it.
there was a chair in 201 that was always sinking in to the floor. There was no walking trails we could use to few the wildlife. The air in the front room keep coming off that was a pain.
Things did not open up until late did not get to see the animals
location and total absence of " Vegas " feel
a bit spendy value-wise
Location was excellent right in the middle of the canyon. Staff was welcoming and helpful
Place is just plain tired .
Rustic wood furniture
no refrig or microwave few TV channels no outside area for kids
The cactii in the desert leading to hotel. The carpet was clean.
Wild West theme??? There was Leopard skin over fire which didnt work, A Black Panther in corner. Asian Tigers on bedspread which had body fluid stains. Black Pumas over bed. Bizzarre. Worst ever plastic toilet seat c 1952. Room was very cold with only one blanket. Spiders, human skin cells, dust flew out of heater which had not been used since 1956 Hydrogen Bomb Tests. Highly overpriced.
The staff did a great job of making sure my reservations were ready for my trip. The restaurant was great and the food was very good. I loved the surroundings and the peacocks were a unique addition.
The room was not very nice and also not very clean. There was no hair dryer either. I had extreme difficulty opening my door; it appeared the lock was stripped.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Decoration of the room was nice.
Detail cleaning VERY POOR. A plastic spoon was found at the head of the bed when I moved a top mattress to find a plug. Room needed to be dusted. Curtains did not cover windows completely - so felt the need to pull the curtain behind a chair and push the chair to the wall. It was obviously done by others as there were marks on the wall from previous renters.
