We loved the location, the restaurants with its fire, the stabbles and its super welcoming staff even the old nevada town was great but be at the opening to avoid big groups
No baby crib
If you're looking for quirky and outdoorsy rather than posh, this is the place for you. Very close to Red Rocks area with beautiful views. We saw wild burros, fed peacocks by hand, and took a walk through the petting zoo. Rooms are not luxurious or adorned with the most up-to-date amenities, but that's part of the charm, and ours was very clean. We went on the off-season, so the prices were cheap.
children like train, old town and zoo, setting is gorgeous- red rock canyon and close to vegas with a car.
hotel was horrid, old, not updated, i.e. 1970s tv with 13 channels, no free wifi, hard mattresses, bath plug didn't work nor did room heater on a very cold night, staff moved us 3 times before we found a heater that worked. No fridge, no free breakfast, but restaurant is good.
Thank u I like the hotel
Cute resort. Nice get away from the strip.
Location is tremendous, especially for climbers. Bar has cozy fireplace and friendly staff.
The bed and bedding was low quality and uncomfortable. The room decor was seriously dated, especially for the price.
Location Sunrise Restaurant (afternooon-evening bartender) Karaoke on Friday night Breakfast
Grumpy train conductor-he needs more breaks:)
Lydia and Chris at the stables were Awesome, friendly and informative. The restaurant served up an amazing meal (Best pancakes ever). They always have Great food! Quaint and Peaceful Oasis in the desert! That's why I like it!
Great setting in beautiful canyon. Rustic with a capital R. It was clean but very basic. Next to entertainment and resturant with plenty of western ambience, It ain't fancy but it's fun. Don't show up grumpy.
I'm just spoiled and like a fancier place. I would have loved to bring my young kids to this place for a wild west experience. The furnishings were not comfortable--no place to sit back and put up my feet except the bed. Exterior needs maintenance. Some one needs to clean up after the peacocks!!
We went to Red Rock in August and stopped by BS. Decide to stay after we spoke with a employee who mentioned to come on a Friday, stay and see the shows. We did this for our anniversary get-away We live in LV,(30 minutes away) so the location was great. We had a wonderful relaxing time Restaurant food was very good. Next time well try the room with the spa.
Front desk girl( sorry I forgot her name!) she was a sweetheart!!
We didn't end up staying! First room had a broken toilet.. Scorpion in friends bed freaked us out and our comforter was disgusting!
Went to Spring Mtn State Park for outdoor theater and then stayed at Bonnie Springs! Go to the bar and have a few drinks. Stay at the hotel. Lots of fun
The area is beautiful,.The hotel is old and "rustic" The room was clean and very quiet at night.
Needs a new shower / sinks etc. serviceable;e, but tired.
It was a blast. The kids were entertained for 2 days, even watching the same shows. I planned to go swimming with the boys, but they were too tired from ecploring! The staff was awesome, very helpful.
The only negative I can really say is that the mattresses were kind of hard. It didn't bother me, but the kids complained a bit.
It's so peaceful and every one was so Nice
It was convenient since we were there for am the ghost hunting experience
When we first got there we noticed the blanket on one of the beds was dirty. It had chocolate crumbles and what looked to be candy sprinkles. We then went into the bathroom and there was about 8 spiders in the bathtub who looked like they had been there a while. While brushing my teeth the water smelled of sewer. The headboard of the beds were dirty and had dead bugs on it. The fan was wobbly and made noise all night and the air conditioner sounded like it was ready to fly away.
The staff was wonderful - friendly and very helpful. The laundry room was very good. We came in with over a week of laundry and could wash and dry all at one time. The pool was nice and near the laundry so that we could enjoy both at once. We liked the quirky decor very much. The applique of the cactus reminded us of a friendly Gumby. The patio deck was comfortable and cool with beautiful scenery. Close walk to the restaurant. The food was so good that we ate an extra lunch.
Out of town pretty old hotel over priced.
The remote location was great & the theme was great. Enjoyed the little town & melodrama.
The resort is very dated, the furnishings are very dated & the mattresses should be replaced at least every 20 years! Over priced for the condition of the place. The petting zoo should be reported for not taking care of the animals in the high temperatures.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
$3.00 for WiFi
insects in the room.. Sucks..
Loved the views & the trails & the company
Room was not the one I booked. Coffee pot leaked water. Room was not like the picture.
