Hotel is 1/4 off I-70 easy on off access, I got checked in at 7:30pm and all 1st floor rooms were taken, they gave me 2nd floor room which was quiet enough and clean and comfy. I had several bags of luggage and had to climb stairs three times because no elevator onsite, at 72yrs I got a work out! All in all hotel is fine and one of the better one with a decent price.

Green River is a small town with the John Powell museum right next to the hotel. Has a couple good restaurants and a nice grocery store. There are lots of Jeep and ATV trails right out of Green River

We have stayed at Green River Terrace Inn the last two years on our trip to Colorado Springs.
We love the location on the river. It’s peaceful and has a great cook to order breakfast. The restaurant next door is always enjoyable. Try it you’ll love it!

Green River feels very sketchy as a town, and is little more than a glorified truck stop. This town had much worse vibes compared to other towns in Utah of similar size. There is only one decent restaurant (Tamarisk) in this town. Stay in some other town instead.

We didnt spend much time in town but there were good restaurants, a good museum. and a decent coffee shop. ( a must for us). It was a good base for bicycling.. We ate at Rays, the Tamarisk... both good. We will definitely go back sometime to explore more dirt roads. Also the melons were great. took 4 home!
I prefer motels that are not part of big chains, but rather real old-fashioned typical American motels. So this was a perfect place in that respect. Everything was very good and convenient. The owners are seem to be taking good care of this old place, and if you need a place to stay in Green River, I can recommend this one. The internet connection is very good, too. Strong good coffee in the morning, too.
This is the third time we've stayed at First Choice Inn at the Swell. It has changed ownership since our last stay (which was October, 2020) and is even better than it was before. It is cleaner, and the management and staff are courteous and efficient. We will definitely recommend it to our traveling friends and will stay again when we have the opportunity to travel through Green River, UT. Thank you!
This super 8 was fabulous. We were doing a cross country roadtrip all the way from Alabama to Oregon and this hotel was our stop to visit moab and the arches National park. It exceeded our expectations by far. Was very very clean, roomy, breakfast was good and staff was so nice and helpful. We stayed on our way to Oregon and liked it so much we stayed on our way back home as well.
The room was adequate. The front desk folks were courteous and helpful. I was forced by circumstances beyond my control to stay near Moab for and extended period of time and couldn’t afford (or even find) a room there. Motel 6 provided what I needed. There was a restaurant next door, a museum across the street and cheap gasoline down the street.
The grounds of the River Terrace Inn were lovely. It was a pleasure to look out the window and see green grass and flowers and the Green River about 200 yards away. I felt confident about the room being clean and sanitized. A hot breakfast was prepared from a menu to either eat in the breakfast area or back in the room.
the hotel was renovated and clean, the young lady at the counter was very friendly and professional, lot’s of guests arrived at the same time and she handled it very well and stayed calm. My husband enjoyed his breakfast. it’s a great hotel to stay in if you passe through Green River.
It was a clean location, it reached my expectations considering the price. At least for me, a foreigner, the little city or Green River was quite charming, remembered me about the childhood when I was watching westerns or Cars (Pixar) :)
We enjoyed the view our room had over the Green River. The king-sized bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. The hot food selection and homemade cinnamon rolls at breakfast were delicious
I loved the brand new room at the banks of the green River. Very modern and absolutely clean. The sheets smelled clean and fresh. The TV was amazing! Overall stylish and felt new. Very easy to check in and feels very safe here.
Breakfast was very good, a little variety each day we were here. The outside patio was great to sit on and eat. Since dinner was not included, the Tamarisk was the best bang for our bucks, right on the Green River.
This hotel was unreal. No front desk person. A note written on crumbled up paper with a phone number to call for check in. There were methods addicts surrounded the entrance. Room doors were open. We left.
Staff/front desk very pleasant and friendly; since the pool was closed for maintenance, they had an agreement with a nearby hotel to accommodate guests for free; the pool was up and running the next day
The room was pretty big. The AC worked great and the lady at the front desk was really friendly. Very pet friendly hotel as well, which was important as I'm moving back home with my cat.
Very nice cozy motel in Green River. Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff nice and helpful. Convenient place to stay when planning a visit in Arches National Park.
Spacious room with beautiful furniture, delicious breakfast, patio with the river view. Excellent location-closer to the freeway and nearby excellent Tamarisk Restaurant
