Located right on the bay with wonderful views. We went after Labor Day so there were no crowds and the rates were lower. Walkway to town was right next to us which was a bonus
No newspaper in morning!
Paul was so helpful as he checked us in upon our arrival. He was a wonderful and informative gentleman. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we hope to bring our daughter and son-in-law up for a weekend next year.
That our stay was too short, as we had to continue our travels to home.
Great location,friendly staff, nice buffet
Cheap Good location Complimentary Internet and printing Comfy beds Clean sheets and towels
Old - need refurbishing Moths in room Communal carpets dirty Poor wifi connection
Great location; clean room; very strong and fast Wi-Fi. complementary hot breakfast.
Great accessibility to town but on the other side of the footbridge so not conjested at the hotel.
More Adirondack and lounge chairs out on the lawn area would be great !
the location, the breakfast
when we got there, it seemed that the bed lines weren't changed properly. they didn't look fresh and clean to be exact.
Arrived at sunset and had dinner outside at the firepit. Service was very good, food was fair and view was spectacular.
The water front
When we got there floor was filthy also the tub had a heavy ring all around Pillow case was so filthy makes you want to throw up looked like someone made love on it and dropped the evidence.
Needs renovation Staircase peeling Room looks like 1950's Bathroom had rust on pipes and on the lighting fixture Breakfast was not appealing and we chose to eat out
Nearness to restaurants.
Lack of privacy on balconies. Information about breakfast/dinner not posted.
Manager, Paul was awesome
out dated - the room - especially the bathroom was NOT clean!!
dirty, out of date, smelly
I liked the location and the full breakfast was really good.
Housekeeping was lousey. When we arrived, the bathtub was dirty and so was the toilet. There was a used coffee canister in the coffee maker and there was a half empty bottle of juice in the refrigerator. When she came to clean our room the second day, she never cleaned the tub or toilet and the coffee canister was still in the machine.
The staff was very friendly and the view was great. We loved the walking bridge to the shopping and boating. Boothbay Harbor Inn is located in a good spot that your not in the middle of everything, but just a short walk away. They have a great fire pit outside of the restaurant and are planning on adding another. Good place to warm up with a cocktail.
More elderly people seem to stay here and tourist buses are in and out every day. The Inn stopped doing there happy hour and the restaurant is only open certain hours. We ended up spending more time at the Inn next door.
We had a wonderful view of the harbor, we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and one of the Staff helped me surprise my husband with champagne and snacks for our arrival.
LOCATION; a short walk in to the village of boothbay harbor, a nice view of both the harbor and the village, the friendliness of the staff, ie front desk and resteraunt
PARKING LOT SIZE; very small in size, especially for larger vehicles like my Crown Vic., too many people parking improperly in their parking space of a limited sized parking lot, needs to be better lit at night.
scenery, food, location
the city of Boothbay's parking. O.K. at the Inn
The location is great, nice walk over the footbridge to the center of town Front desk person very helpful
Room was in need of updating Parking lot small and a bit confusing
We loved the probity of the hotel to the footbridge. The dining room was excellent and the view from the outside patio facing the harbor was great.
the Location is perfect for Boothbay, the lawn at sunset was so nice.
very out dated. rooms smelled musty.
WALKING DISTANCE FOR EVERYTHING
The area is beautiful, the inn is well placed for all the bars & restaurants. Nice outdoor space with fantastic views across the harbor.
We stayed I room 222 and it was very "tired" in fact the lobby, breakfast area and lounges all looked dark, grubby and unwelcoming. Breakfast was minimal, plain and unexciting.
We liked our full harbor view room and the hot breakfast provided each morning.
the setting was good for access to the harbor area
the facilities were in need of updating, rooms were so crowded with furniture that it was hard to move, furnishings and décor were stuck in the 60's, sometimes outdated furnishings and décor can be charming - not the case here - it was just tired looking food was not outstanding or even good, could have had a better lobster at home in new York state security for hotel and rooms was a joke and we were quite uneasy.
