The hotel it self
Position of the hotel, staff.
The hall of the hotel is cold and not quite. Many people use the hall to cross from one street to another.
Love this hotel-- staff exceedingly nice and helpful
There is not internet service in the room without an additional fee!!! C 'mom people! It's 2014! We all need an internet connection and it is very annoying to be nickled and dimed for it or have to go to the lobby.
Rooms were good and well cleaned up. and the bed was comfortable
.The staff not attentive and welcoming. instead of asking me have given the correct names when cheking in. they told me maybe i booked another hotel. I dint find them welcoming at all they were just casual. I had to keep a deposit of 50 USD while when booking it clearly said no deposit will be charged.
The staff was wonderful. They were attentive and accommodating.
Valet parking rather pricey.
Proximity to T and parking. Gym facility.
Concierge room closed on Saturday
Easy to walk everywhere and great views from the rooms.
Everything was well used, it's a busy place that could use some updates. But overall a good experience.
Close to metro, very convenient.
No room service. Return to hotel room at 4:30pm and room had not serviced.
Clean and good location for me.
A horrible noise woke me up 2 nights of my stay. It sounded like they were doing construction--really weird.
I was charged a ridiculous price for a second rate 3 star (at best) hotel. I booked the hotel through booking.com thinking I would get the cheapest rate. This was a complet rip off and I will never stay there again.
Breakfast Room size and comfort Location by T-stop
Breakfast staff Free WiFi only in lobby and not rooms
Location was reasonable
Free WIFI downstairs, but not in room. This seems a little strange. If WIFI can be offered free in lobby, why not in guest rooms?
Being on the 22nd floor with a gorgeous view of the river and Boston skyline.
The lobby, and The free wifi there :)
- Friendly staffs - Perfect locaiton
- cheaper price would be perfect, but how could I explain, the location is very good in downtown Boston. :)
We loved the beautiful view of Boston from our room on the top floor. The hotel location was excellent with the subway station right outside and cafes etc.
Noise from the connecting room, where upon we changed rooms. Otherwise nothing to complain.
Close to the union square and very well located. The staff is very gentil and supportive to attend the guests.
The rooms are not like the pictures in the website, the windows were very dirty and the roof was very low. It is a giant hotel that I would not recommend for couples vacations. It's definitely overpriced in comparison with other options at San Francisco.
Staff very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable.
Needs remodeling, room needed fresh air (windows locked)
Location, breakfast, swimming pool.
We were given the online option of a room with 2 double beds, or a king size + sofa bed. We chose the former but when we got there they said they had no such rooms available. But when we went to reception and made a fuss they mysteriously found one - but the manager was really snotty because we'd gone through Booking.com. Not very impressive!
Good location in Boston near MIT and a walking distance from Harvard. Million dollar view across the River Charles. Excellent responsive staff. Easy check-in. Eat-outs and huge shopping mall nearby ...etc..etc
it is an archaic business model (even in developing countries) of asking people to pay for room internet access. Shame that this seemingly marvelous hotel still asks for payment for room access to internet!
Beautiful view of the Charles River and Boston from my room, nice big window. Great "T" (subway) access. Nice lobby. Staff is professional and helpful.
Soft mattress, tiny gym.
The view was lovely, it was in close proximity to a number of attractions including the Museum of Science and the MIT Campus
The price of the room was high
right next to the subway station
no fridge in the room We were told the room type (with one bed vs two) cannot be guaranteed for reservation not made directly through Marriott
Location for access to subway & Town Trolley
