Beautiful lobby, rooms clean and comfortable, amazing views from windows, super friendly and professional staff
Free Wi-Fi wasn't very good. Hotel should offer free Wi-Fi for all hotel patrons.
I do love the view from my room. I was staying in 24th floor, and able to view the river & city center. Very convenient in traffic. Subway station is right located downstairs.
The decoration of its bathroom is too 'hotel', it feels like a motel bathroom. The subway downstairs may wake you up if you are a light sleeper. I was waken up by the shaking due to subway every morning, even if I was staying in 24th floor
Room and location
Excellent location Overall condition and decor
Poor elevator service Lobby used as a throughway by hundreds of T passengers Understaffed valet desk
The decor besides the comfort
The WI FI and TV
perfect location on the T and many restaurant and entertainment choices within walking distance. Staff was gracious and extremely personable.
Paying for wifi in the room is ridiculous. Lobby was littered with guest so they could use the free wifi in public space.
To the person, staff was responsive, proactive, appropriately friendly (as in not condescending). Restaurant food a bit better than expected, and hotel lounge had nice, low key atmosphere.
What is up with the wall to wall gigantic TVs w/ sports coverage in the restaurant? That set such a boring and isolating atmosphere. Visitors to hotel are MIT/Harvard/business people wanting to talk, not to watch those huge screens. Diners had to work hard to ignore the setting. Change the name (was it Champs?) and make an atmosphere that doesn't look like a cafeteria. Kendall Sq isn't overrun with places where one wants to dine or entertain. Help the cause! Legal Seafood can't carry the whole burden alone.
staff outstanding and friendly upon check in and out, gym and pool clean and busy, location right off the red line can't be beat.
Close to Harvard University and downtown Boston. Good location.
Friendly staff food was good it was right next to meadhall!
Free wifi came with our room n so did breakfast when we checked in he acted like he was doing us a favor n upgrading us he also didn't get any info on our breakfast from booking.com but luckily I had a receipt e-mail he did add it to our room! The bathrooms were tiny and the glasses in the room looked very dirty!
The comfort and the cleanliness of the room.
The hidden 50 dollar cost for each night that wasn't mention at all. It doesn't show up in your bill but if you check your bank statement, it will. The hotel will return the 50 dollar between 7 to 10 business days which I think it's very lousy to hold a fund that long.
The hotel it self
Position of the hotel, staff.
The hall of the hotel is cold and not quite. Many people use the hall to cross from one street to another.
Love this hotel-- staff exceedingly nice and helpful
There is not internet service in the room without an additional fee!!! C 'mom people! It's 2014! We all need an internet connection and it is very annoying to be nickled and dimed for it or have to go to the lobby.
Rooms were good and well cleaned up. and the bed was comfortable
.The staff not attentive and welcoming. instead of asking me have given the correct names when cheking in. they told me maybe i booked another hotel. I dint find them welcoming at all they were just casual. I had to keep a deposit of 50 USD while when booking it clearly said no deposit will be charged.
The staff was wonderful. They were attentive and accommodating.
Valet parking rather pricey.
Proximity to T and parking. Gym facility.
Concierge room closed on Saturday
Easy to walk everywhere and great views from the rooms.
Everything was well used, it's a busy place that could use some updates. But overall a good experience.
Close to metro, very convenient.
No room service. Return to hotel room at 4:30pm and room had not serviced.
Clean and good location for me.
A horrible noise woke me up 2 nights of my stay. It sounded like they were doing construction--really weird.
I was charged a ridiculous price for a second rate 3 star (at best) hotel. I booked the hotel through booking.com thinking I would get the cheapest rate. This was a complet rip off and I will never stay there again.
Breakfast Room size and comfort Location by T-stop
Breakfast staff Free WiFi only in lobby and not rooms
Location was reasonable
Free WIFI downstairs, but not in room. This seems a little strange. If WIFI can be offered free in lobby, why not in guest rooms?
Being on the 22nd floor with a gorgeous view of the river and Boston skyline.
