Breakfast freshly baked delivered to room Outstanding restaurant
View non existent from room 5 and people passing by
Great location. We liked having lite breakfast delivered to the room. Restaurant a little pricey but excellent for dinner. We were in room separate from main building and it was very quiet.
Our room facing the back parking lot was quiet and comfortable. We had a remote view of the harbor. There were comfortable deck chairs on the deck. The place is real, not glamorous. Breakfast and coffee delightful.
Our son had a suite that cost almost twice as much on a side street. He and his wife were up half the night due to street noise and the party their neighbors had in the adjoining suite.
Location of the Inn the room was comfortable & clean Staff was pleasant
street noise in the morning from truck traffic
Restaurant very, very good. Location close to mansions, shops.
Small room, bathroom facility difficult to maneuver in, door vibrated consistently with outside air pressure changes, stale odor to pillows, bedroom lock non-secure;
Friendly, helpful and accomodating staff. Comfortable and clean room. Great location.
Location -Location -Location never drove my car for entire stay. Plus free parking
Second time. Good stay, friendly staff, very fresh breakfest. Feel like stay home. In the center of everything. Private parking.
We stayed in main building last time, and it was excellent everything. We decided to come back second time, and it was harbor house this time. Wifi worked the first night, and nothing the second day and night. Coffee cup has coffee mark at bottom, shower curtain is not easy to close, and worst of all, a tiny animal ran swiftly from the couch to the small open under the shower tub. We noticed that the owner was working on the harbor house last time. Suggest to fully complete and construction before take in any guest. This is a lovely inn in the middle of everything. Don't ruin your excellence of service. One more thing, the garbage bin is right next to the main entrance of harbor house. The smell is not good at all especially Sunday night and Monday morning before they collect the garbage. Stay away from harbor house before they clean up the ficility issues.
Room was perfect, attention to detail was excellent, quality of breakfast was wonderful.
Breakfast too small, wifi hit and miss in our room.
The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything we need. The location was very good.
Because of the noisy window air conditioner we had a hard time sleeping.
The food, service and ambiance were excellent. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Classic french and impressive. Do not miss the souffle!
The accomodations at the Inn were margonal. The Lilac Room backs up to O'Brians Pub which had a karoke contest until 1AM, so it was impossible to open the windows. The air conditioner was directly opposite my bed so it blew directly on me most of the night. Additionally, the room was too small with no room to open our two suitcases
everyone was very friendly and helpful. the breakfasts of fresh yogurt and fresh pastries were wonderful. location was great and i would definitely recommend this inn to friends and family. we were at a wedding so we were not able to eat at the restaurant but some friends ate there and said it was the fabulous.
the only thing i did not like was that i tried to get a first floor room because my husband has bad knees and they would not accomodate us. i did ask just a few days before we arrived , but i did not realize that the harbor house was part of their inn, which would have saved us steps everyday.
Location Breakfast Goodies Cleanliness of Room
Very clean, close enough to the "action" of town yet far enough from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was excellent and that really made it such a good value.
The location of this inn was perfect for walking and avoiding the congestion in Newport. The breakfasts that were provided were absolutely lovely, too!
The Inn was very quiet, dispute the fact it was on the street. I went with my adult daughter for a mother daughter getaway. The Inn was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed it very much. The breakfast, served in a cute little bag was a nice touch.
Location, room, breakfast. Luring coffee and teas were a nice touch.
Could not get a reservation at the restaurant. Suggest if you book a room, also book a dinner reservation well in advance.
Location is ideal. The sleeping quarters are wonderful.
Felt right at home, extremely friendly staff, very clean, fabulous service, located in the best part of town.....Mr. Bouchard took time to speak with us on a personal basis and made us feel very welcome...can't forget to mention the dog Vegas.....
Nothing negative to state at all.
The service was exceptional and their restaurant was to die for. The women who greeted us at the hotel entrance and helped us carry our luggage to the our room was also one of our servers at the restaurant. She literally treated us like royalty. I had just proposed to my fiancé and I did not tell the staff at the restaurant. However, they picked up on it somehow and gave us free champaign and congratulated up... I mean, what other bed and breakfast hotel does that! Additionally, the food at the restaurant was absolutely stunning in presentation and tasted "authentic-French" in every way. I recommend this place a must for anyone looking to spend a weekend or week in Newport!
The staff was very attentive to our needs. Made sure we enjoyed ourselves and were cery helpful with where to sightsee.
location was within walking distance to everything food was amazing including breakfast room was very clean and updated
Friendliness of the staff, pleasant so accommodating, we are in our 70,s, so stairs a major concern, Inn is located upppppppp!,so many stairs and down, down down, not easy,
Parking major issue. Unable to get dinner reservations at the Inn major disappointment .
The rooms were lovely and comfortable and had everything we could need - quite high end.
We should have done more research on the on-site French restaurant. We didn't eat there but wish that we had. We had another restaurant in mind before we got to Newport. Will definitely go back.
