Location was great. The lobby was impressive but the rooms were very basic. No tea/ coffee facilities in room.
1. The appearance, classy. Quiet not near freeway or kids running in the hallway. 2. Friendly staff. 3. The dining. Didn't have to stand in line and wait for a waffle.
1. The bathroom, way too small. No counter to put your necessities. That one feature will kep us from returning.
The location, lobby and included breakfast were fabulous. We were able to gather outside at tables for wine and conversation. All the shops and restaurants were within a block of each other.
The room was quite small, especially the bathroom. But it worked and they were very good at putting our family together.
Charm, staff, location.
Staff, location and place itself.
The lobby was rich and beautiful. The museum was a neat way to spend 10 minutes. The overall environment was relaxing and comfortable.
The room are really small. The bathrooms are tiny and cramped. The room was hot and windows don't open. The free breakfast the next morning was a 45 minute wait to be seated.
Free Parking, Free wifi, Really comfy bed, Shower was great, staff were friendly and helpful, homely atmosphere and great breakfast included in the price!
Nothing, it was all good
It was Christmastime and the hotel had a beautiful evergreen tree all decorated in ribbons. The fireplace was roaring. Staff very helpful in finding a good restaurant and antique shops.
Room was smaller than expected. But it is an historic hotel.
We had been driving all day. The Bolder Hotel was the perfect place to rest and there were several nice restaurants close by too! The "old town" restoration is a fun place poke around in as well. The breakfast at the Bolder was top rate!
Awesomely friendly staff, incredible restaurant style breakfast included, charming historical building. Will visit again!
The staff and the location were excellent. The rooms are very small, built for a single traveler in the days when the dam was under construction. Breakfast was excellent, served to your table. No buffet lines to manage when all you want is a cup of coffee.
Loved the location, and the wine bar across the street.
We like this old historic hotel, it is cosy there, staff extremely nice, best complimentary breakfast ever. We stayed there the second time, and this will be not the last time!
there is nothing to complain about.
Courteous, efficient staff, very pleasant room, welcoming reception, wealth of history associated with the Hoover dam. Boulder City is pleasant to walk around, if a little 'idiosyncratic'.
Service at breakfast could be improved to reflect the fact that you are guests at the hotel and not simply using the cafe - which is open to anyone.
Historic hotel, renovated well, nicely furnished, Breakfast and Lunch restaurant looked good but we did not try it. Boulder City is a cool town right next to the Hoover Dam
Rooms are a bit small with only one chair
This place is an old-school hotel. Full of character and quirky charm. The staff were helpful and efficient. The room small and a little old but clean. My one complaint was the bed was far too soft for me so I didn't get the best night's sleep but that of course is a very subjective thing. I only stayed one night but enjoyed it....
The ambience of the hotel is very relaxing. Hotel staff is very nice. The location of the hotel is the best. There are bars and restaurants 2 minutes walking from the hotel and if you plan to visit the Hoover Dam it'll only take you 10 minutes to get there.
To me, the room rate was a bit overpriced considering we were travelling out of season and the hotel doesn't offer great facilities.
The hotel us a nice old building with easy access to parking on site and easy access to shops, bars and restaurants.
The rooms are not soundproof at all. You could hear the conversation of the people next door when staying in your room with the door and window shut.
I feel you should be told don't plan on being able to turn around in the bathroom. Very tough to get cleaned up and ready to go.
Left a special coin in room. Went back 7 hours later. Maid turned it in to front desk. Can't ask for more than that
Location was great and only a very short walk to a nice brewery pub. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. History was very interesting.
Second time we've been here. Loved it both times. Thinking about making it a yearly trip, so relaxing.
Location to Hoover Dam. Historical feel to the building.Because of the historical bldg, the bathroom was somewhat antiquated.
Beautiful downtown Convenient to restaurants
If you are looking an overnight stay to visit the Hoover Dam, this is the place to stay and the breakfast was one of the best we had in our three weeks touring around. The museum on the Hovver Dam is also within the hotel and is a must see before you visit the Dam. Excellent.
