no wifi small rooms small beds disgusting restrooms disgusting cabins no safety for the values like a prison
Cheap Location - Close to lots of bars etc
Tiny, tiny "rooms" (just walls, no ceiling, only just room to stand) Lack of privacy (noise etc) Beds not clean Wound't stay there more than a day
Location is good
Uncomfortable to stay
all but location
The location was fine.
-bedbugs -bloodstained sheets -disgusting bathrooms -rude staff -terrible wifi -no outlets in the room -you aren't allowed to leave with your key
Cheap (for NY at least) Towels provided Wifi mostly worked Lobby was a good place to hang out (with coffee machine, ATM, electric outlets etc) Laundry room on site
I never expect luxury from a hostel, but I do want to live in sanitary conditions. I spent the last time camping in the woods with no flushing toilets and and that was way less disgusting than the state of this place. Rooms approximately the size of a shoebox no electric outlets in the rooms no isolation - you could hear everything what was going on in all other rooms, so the moments it was silent enough to actually sleep were pretty scarce.
location 10 minutes from Times Square
the bedroom it's for my dog sleep not me, bad mattres, the bathrooms it's not clean, the air conditioning look doens't work. Don't go to Bowery's Whitehouse
The fact I got life the next day and move to another hostel
Anything welcomes you to this horror place. Please don't you ever date to stay in this pathetic hostel. If you don't have anymore go to a bridge or a church but this place doesn't even have real rooms but wooden division where can even hear couples doing their things.
Location. Price. No bed bugs.
Nothing except the good position
Very poor small spartan room, there is just the bed. Not easy have a good sleep. Not so clean
they are doing drugs there....
Staff were nice enough to Let me see my room before I paid.
I didn't stay the night, the rooms were tiny, in dodgie location and dirty lobby.
Location.very nice place in the city.
I strongly recommand never stay stupid place like here. no value for 50backs really.
the location is easy to reach from some subway station and it is in manhattan..
No power outlet inside the cabin and the only place i can charge my phone is at the lobby area but it's always full. wifi is terrible. Cabin was too cold at night. blanket & bedsheets are awful. i barely didn't use the toilet during my 2 nights stay.
Noise. No electric outlets. No wifi in the bedroom. Poor toilet conditions.
There was nothing good about this hotel
There was no electric in the room, no electrical receptacles to charge electronics. There was no closed celling, you can stand on bed and see into the adjacent room (no privacy). They do not service the rooms while you are there. I went to the front desk asked for clean towels, I was told they did not have any. The room was like a jail cell only about 6' X 8'. We where suppose to had a double bed, but had two twin beds put together. The room had heavy black dust every where. You shared a bathroom and shower with everyone on the floor where you stayed. I paid for 3 nights, but after the second night with no towel to shower with we checked out. was told could not get refund for the third night. this is a very bad place to stay. I have traveled world wide and never experienced any thing like this. Amos Simmons, Huntington, WV
stay away form this place
1- shared shower are dirty 2- room are open and no privacy 3- bed bug issue
the location is nearby east village.
Great location. And the woman working the counter was actual nice and helpful.
Be careful. These are not rooms. They divide an entire floor with small wooden walls. It's like a toilet you can sleep in. No ceiling. You can look into the adjacent cells if you climb on your "bed". I had to open the door to dress because it is so narrow that I did not fit. Few and dirty showers. Lights are not turned off in the night (which sucks, since you don't have an actual room). It is crazy.
Affordable to get a quick experience of New York. Staff was nice. Not luxurious in any way, but you felt pretty clean and safe.
No electric in units, but that against city ordinance. Wifi was limited to lower level. Not sure how it's heated so be mindful during cold months.
Bed bugs... army bed bugs attacked me... raches all over my body... horrible itching for one week.
The neigborhood is great, the place modest but clean, its up to you to clean your garbage from the room. People is cool, you find more interesting mates here than in a luxury hotel filled with old couples and annoying families.
The definetly need to have power outlets inside the rooms, it's really hard to come back tired to the hotel and then, instead of resting, having to sit in a chair at the lobby and charge your phone and camera batteries for two more hours.
Die Lage. The Location
There's no Wifi in the "rooms" better to say in the bed. There is no warm atmosphere. People do not come together. There is no possibility to charge the Smartphone at your room (bed)
