-price, -location, -ability to come to room in any time, -silence
-towels wasn't really clean, I believe that they wash it, but they should change it sometimes -wifi didn't work normaly, in rooms it didn't work at all
It is a really dirty place. It is dark and noisy. Really unpleasant to be there. They evan charged my card twice and didn't pay the amount back. Stay away!
I suggest booking.com that please remove this rat house from your list.
no wifi small rooms small beds disgusting restrooms disgusting cabins no safety for the values like a prison
Wifi, electricity in lounge area
Rooms were tiny, smaller than we expected. No facility to charge phones In the rooms and no ceilings. Toilets upstairs weren't great, toilets downstairs even worse. Apart from broken toilets there was water all over the floor that looked like it had been leaking.
Cheap Location - Close to lots of bars etc
Tiny, tiny "rooms" (just walls, no ceiling, only just room to stand) Lack of privacy (noise etc) Beds not clean Wound't stay there more than a day
I like the great location Simple rooms
Staff were very helpful and friendly Cafes near Bowery's Whitehouse
Photos posted on the booking.com website is deceiving. There is barely enough space in the rooms for two single beds and walking space. Felt claustrophobic and sick, fan was going the whole night near our pitiful cupboard as you can't really say it was a room.
This place is for prisoners to stay. Mice running around in the lobby. All the computers were not working, just for decoration, the photo of their advertising is cheating customers. Booking.com should drum out them. 这个地方是给犯人住的，大堂里老鼠满地跑，电脑全部是坏的，他们的广告在欺骗顾客，应该被Booking.com开除出去
Small room with no ceiling, no electric or plug sockets in room. Got bites all over my legs from bed mites.....the hostel shut down on 3rd september that was a good decision. Can i get a refund?
Great location, within walking distance of 2-3 subway stations to take you anywhere you want. Real cosy sort of feel, perfect for the avid backpacker or a traveler on a budget. Great way to meet new people, considering you're probably never more than a few feet away from someone new at any point in your stay. Dependable security, as you need two keys and for the counter to buzz you in in order to access your room.
The fact that the toilets were communal and devoid of any partition or door from the rest of the living space was a little bit of a bummer. The WIFI is also only available in the lobby and that is quite a hassle, given the limited seating of about 4-5 there. Also, no power sockets in the "rooms", so all charging has to be done at the counter which is troublesome to say the least.
Location is good
Uncomfortable to stay
- in the city center - clean small 'room'
- dirty showers, - very loud - no real room, more like sleeping in a closet - no possibility to charge your devices in the 'rooms'
location not bad. price is reasonable.
all but location
All Except location.
There was nothing about this rat infested hole I liked, we were told we couldn't get in to our room early because of "cleaning" and when we got up there it was a scene from a horror film. Never stay here, ever. I felt like warning everyone walking through the door when I left.
The fact there isn't a roof, the act the room is no bigger than a bathroom. The fact there was poo on my floor, the fact there was hair on everything, the fact there were stains on my bed, the fact there was no curtains and the world worst staff, the place was an absolute hole! Worst place Iv ever stayed in and Iv stayed in some bad places.
The location was fine.
-bedbugs -bloodstained sheets -disgusting bathrooms -rude staff -terrible wifi -no outlets in the room -you aren't allowed to leave with your key
Cheap (for NY at least) Towels provided Wifi mostly worked Lobby was a good place to hang out (with coffee machine, ATM, electric outlets etc) Laundry room on site
I never expect luxury from a hostel, but I do want to live in sanitary conditions. I spent the last time camping in the woods with no flushing toilets and and that was way less disgusting than the state of this place. Rooms approximately the size of a shoebox no electric outlets in the rooms no isolation - you could hear everything what was going on in all other rooms, so the moments it was silent enough to actually sleep were pretty scarce.
Good location- easy walking distance to Bleeker St., Little Italy, etc
Everything else! Very dirty floors, cramped stalls (couldn't really be described as rooms) with no privacy, very noisy air-conditioning unit on our floor, weak wi-fi signal meant it was only available in the lobby. Slept OK, but this was mainly due to travel exhaustion and a few much-needed beers to offset the disappointment. Best avoided!
i am talking about a private space in an amazing location downtown for $50 a night - share bath per area and microwave toaster oven n tv with dvd's in lounge... left a bag with some things next to the fridge n it was still there untouched hours later...
i had a bit of trouble getting wifi but i was on the 4th floor i guess not all rooms have a closet but none have electric they charge ur stuff at the desk but it is very safe
location 10 minutes from Times Square
the bedroom it's for my dog sleep not me, bad mattres, the bathrooms it's not clean, the air conditioning look doens't work. Don't go to Bowery's Whitehouse
The fact I got life the next day and move to another hostel
Anything welcomes you to this horror place. Please don't you ever date to stay in this pathetic hostel. If you don't have anymore go to a bridge or a church but this place doesn't even have real rooms but wooden division where can even hear couples doing their things.
Location. Price. No bed bugs.
