Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to...
Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to visit. We went to Branson Landing just to walk around, ate at Shogun's (and had a great chef there), and spent some time walking around Silver Dollar City (expensive, but we have season passes - it makes taking our grandchildren there during the summer and for Christmas a little cheaper and gets us into WhiteWater as well). However, I grew up around there, so I know many of the back roads and shortcuts around town so I don't have to deal with the traffic issues that most visitors have to deal with. If you drive the main drag it can take forever to get around. Familiarize yourself with the different routes (red, yellow, and blue) that will help you get around town easier. There are some good shows - again, it can be a bit expensive. We are planning a miniature golf trip to Branson in July with one of our granddaughters. Lots of different courses to play with some trips to the mountain coasters, WhiteWater, and Tanger Outlet Mall thrown in.

Branson has become a money trap.
Branson has become a money trap. The price has doubled in the last year and the quality is less than half of what it used to be. Don't eat at starving Marvin's buffet it's hands down the worst food in Branson and the most expensive.

The main street was full of carnivals rides, ticket booths.
The main street was full of carnivals rides, ticket booths. Theatre's, fast food, restaurants. The overall feel of an area that has past its prime. Also very congested. The old town had the regular souvenir stores. Did find a wonderful Romanian cafe called Translavania for great cappuccinos and caramel rolls. Branson seems like a blend of tacky main drag, old town and delightful river walk area. If I were to visit again, I would look for accommodations outside of Branson. We stayed at a hotel with a high rating and I would give it a poor rating. Most of the lodging choices were worse than where we stayed. Entertainment trying hard but loosing it's luster. We ate dinner both nights at Cheddars from scratch cooking. Very good and reasonable. Clean and new.
Unfriendly people.Avoid anyone offering TIMESHARES, CONDOS SALES PITCHES! They offer you free stays that are filled with small print FEEs like cleaning, resort fee, taxes on free, restrictions, cancellation fees, etc Avoid like a plague. You are NOT welcome to leave during their extended presentations followed by additional sales pitches hidden as surveys. Total scam

The quality of food in Branson is world class.
The quality of food in Branson is world class. You have to try Chedder's Scratch Kitchen on Hy 76. Also, Charlie's smoke house.
There is always something to do in Branson. Plus, a lot of shopping opportunities.
This property has fabulous views and is close to the activities of Branson, but without being in the middle of it. We had access to the condo via a key code on the door. The owners were the most helpful. We booked it on booking.com, but had direct contact with the owners. They were friendly and made sure everything was good for our stay. The price was great, for our family of 8. It was nice to have a quiet place to call home, after being busy the week prior and the long drive. The beds were soft and the bathrooms are roomy.
The front desk lady was super nice. She found me a room away from others when I told her my son has allergies. Their pool was super clear without the chlorine. Breakfast pancakes are made fresh by a crew and not those stupid machines. Price was great after booking online. Branson itself is a tourist trap designed to bleed you of your money fast. Nothing at all was worth the money.. except Dominos pizza on the strip was top notch lol. IF we ever decide to go back I'llstay at this hotel for sure.
The condo was really nice and clean. We noticed there were wasp on the balcony. We called the number provided and they were there in about 10 minutes or so to take care of them with spray. We go to Branson every March for the State Archery Tournament and usually stay at the same hotel every year and wanted to try something different. We will book this condo again next year. There was a game room, places for fishing and grocery store right down the road. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!
The property has one of the best locations in Branson. Next to the outlet mall, walking distance to theaters and easy access to routes which avoid traffic.
The hotel also puts on the best breakfast in three states. Breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, bagels, English Muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, diced potatoes, juice and coffee.
Breakfast was good especially for being included. Staff was so helpful. Hotel was updated and contemporary. Beds were comfortable and loved having extra pillows. My child loved indoor pool and arcade. It's not that the arcade had a ton of games, but after going non-stop on the strip in Branson it was a nice downtime area before bed.
I love this little hotel. I book it all the time for 2/3 day getaways. Off season prices are low no breakfast or snack bar in the evening. Literally we are only minutes away from any shows!!! We have been there so much they welcome us like family. I’ll be back again!
This lodge is in an excellent place for either going or coming from any place on the strip and/or around Branson Brown Branson. From the moment we pulled up and walked into the lobby places beautiful well maintained very very clean and the staff is just excellent.
The owner was very kind and attentive. The rooms were clean and looked beautiful. The owner took the time to show me a map of the hotel, and pointed out where was best to park and circled where the ice machines and breakfast were.
We liked the location, the friendliness of the hotel workers, they helped so much in making sure we were happy, helped with setting up for any shows or things to do in branson. Our room was excellent.
This is hands down one of the best hotels we have EVER stayed at. The staff was sooo sweet and the room was modern and clean. We will stay here every single time we come to Branson! 100/10
Located right between the titanic and the big sky experience. Those wee the two things we did on the strip a little chaotic until you learn the back roads overall a very nivmce stay.
Branson Towers is the best hotel we have ever been in. The beds were so comfy and the pillows were the most comfortable ones I have ever laid my head on. We'll be back
Absolutely loved the pools, the indoor pool area was not humid at all, the water was actually cold! The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel.
The bed linens were fresh and clean! Great location, right on the strip and friendly staff. Two pools indoor and outdoor, but areas were very clean and nice.
