Lack of wireless in rooms is inconvenient. When you want to store bags, they store them in the hall--not very secure. Rooms small but just adequate.

Parking was very difficult to find and very limited
Good location and clean room
April 24, 2015
The exhaust fan in the bathroom which turned automatically when you use the bathroom lights was really noisy. There was no drinking water provided in the room. The hotel was not quite near the subway stations. There was no closet for the bags and clothes.
The room and bathroom were clean. The heater and wifi worked well. The breakfast was good although the breakfast place was really small. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and nice but the cleaning lady did not know how to smile or greet.
April 22, 2015
Small, dark, claustrophobic, sad rooms, no comfort, no services, yet quite expensive. Sad breakfast in throw-away cups and plates.
Location in the city.
April 21, 2015
The staff was impolite and unhelpful; I got a strong "computer-says-no" vibe. I arrived before my wife and the receptionist told me he could not check me in without seeing her ID. I had to wait until late that night to get into the room. No apologies, no attempt to solve the problem that the hotel created. Also, the contract you have to sign is designed in such a way that you inadvertently sign up for their breakfast, which is not worth the money. The receptionist even pressured us to sign quickly.
The rooms were clean

You could sit on the toilet and wash your feet at the same time! (Very poor bathroom layout)
April 19, 2015
Whats in the hotel's on line pictures is not even what you get. Dont know where those pictures came from
The convenience to museums and the capital mall
April 19, 2015
The bed was a little soft in the middle. The adjoining doors were not soundproof. The rug was worn out.
I liked the easy access to bus line and the bike station. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet at night, considering its location. We ate breakfast at the Holiday Inn, conveniently located at the corner, which was nice.

Worst service of my life. Employees are so rude to e very body and I would give them a -10 in rating. I would not Recomend this place to anyone. And I will nevera return there
April 16, 2015
The place is old and needs to update badly the walls, elevator, floors and furniture.
Being that the place looked unappealling, we were surprised at That the bed was extremely comfortable. I reserved one of the last rooms, which was a double. They upgraded md to a king. The breakfast was very good.
April 14, 2015
Outdated could hear everything in other rooms.
Location location and the location
April 13, 2015
Coffee maker and small refrigerator in room would be convenient.
Location is walking distance to downtown. Great location off of 14th to stores, restaurants, Whole Foods. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and this hotel is an overall very good value.
April 7, 2015
I stayed on the 2nd floor and there is one open storage room without a door where mattresses, equipment, furniture, unfolded linens, towels and odds and ends are kept. This was unsightly and gave me the impression I was staying in a college dorm. It's appearance exposed like that looked disheveled and unsanitary. That was my only objection and disappointment.
The staff accommodated me whenever I asked for something, and overall was eager to please and helpful, including early and late check out, directions etc.
April 6, 2015
The hotel is old but thats no excuse for poor fitting doors (I could see the hallway light around 2 edges...not very secure) , and a window that you don't want to look out of because it has loose insulation in and paint splatter on it.
The front desk staff was always pleasant and smiling. The location was perfect!
April 4, 2015
The ac/heat was inches above the head of the bed wifi did not work with pass word given paint huge bubbling off bathroom ceiling and wall ...the list goes on I couldn't help but to think it was relative to my southern draw
Very convenient in a active neighborhood store and restaurants ...
April 3, 2015
Wifi does not work in the rooms. Only in the lobby. Quality of room radically varies. From nice to very cramped, yet price seems to be about the same. You need to climb stairs to reach front desk. Not suitable for people with physical disability. Elevators to rooms however.
Location is convenient. They provide a free newspaper, and sight seeing information.
April 3, 2015
The room literally only has a bed and a tv mounted to the wall with about 2 ft to walk around the bed. The bed was horribly uncomfortable! Stains on sheets and blankets. I requested another blanket and sheet the first night, and was told they didnt have any extra. I put the clean room sign on the door as I left I specifically requested my linens be changed. Came back to the same sheet and blanket on the bed. Literally had to pour a drink on the bed to get clean linens!! The carpet is stained and stretched out creating a trip hazard.
The location is great. Walking distance to everything! The price of the room was decent. Old time charm.
March 31, 2015
The rooms weren't that sound proof and at times you could hear what was going on in the adjoining room or hallway! And of course I wish the weather was a little warmer, but nothing you can do about that!
After taking the 8 hr. bus tour of the town to get aquainted, it wasn't a bad walk to revisit other points of interests or even jump on the metro bus which was right around the corner on 14th street.
March 29, 2015
no place to hang clothes
March 28, 2015
Old and tired rooms. We had a ground floor room at the front of the hotel, very noisey.
Location was good.
March 26, 2015
There was no WiFi in the room, only in the lobby. My room was practically filled up with the bed. The window was tiny.
The staff was helpful. The location is relatively central.
March 25, 2015
The AC is a bit noisy. The first night i got there, i stayed in the room in the basement, it was terribly noisy from the next door facility room. And this room got roaches. Luckily, i complained and was replaced to another room the next day
Convenient to travel everywhere
March 25, 2015
I stayed in late March and all hotel prices seemed high. Maybe that explains why this seemed so expensive for such a bare bones, budget hotel. I have stayed in much nicer places in DC for less money (but at this time, those places were very pricey)
It was adequate, clean, good location.
