location, cheap and good (optional) breakfast
really slow or not working wi-fi- one person connects to internet the other didn't have
location was within walking distance of everything we required. the room had its own balcony. helpful staff.
room badly in need of redecoration although all facilities present. The room was small and awkwardly shaped, at the back of the hotel. However, it served ok as a base and we were out most of the time.
The staff were friendly, and the location was good for easy access to the metro and getting around.
We booked a double room that was too small for two people and luggage. The bed sheets had holes in as did the mattress protector. The air conditioner unit was blowing onto the headboard so could not be used when sleeping as it vibrated the bed and iced your head.
It is a good location, only a short walk from the nearest metro station and the national mall so for two student travellers it was good. All the staff were very nice and gave helpful tips on where to visit.
The facilities is quite old, but it is to be expected with the price.
The front desk staff is not well trained for the job it seems. They don't even greet you with a smile.
Just off 14th street, which has a great variety of shops and restaurants. Good wifi signal. Less than 10 mins walk to metro.
The bed was really not comfortable.
Location, good bathroom, cable
Little Stinky, very small room
Convenient access to restaurant and metro to downtown.
Rooms were small, outdated and not very clean. Housekeeping staff was not very thorough.
Close to DuPont
Scary dirty, unsafe feeling.
Was close to the White House
I checked in late and I was given an improved room, a 2 bed room. The pictures online showed colored bed linen but the linens were white which always helps because you can ealisy spot a dirt but the room was clean. No hair on the bed, the bathroom was small but clean. I stayed for a night and it was a good experience. Will do back.
The entrance environment makes the hotel look dirty. The ceiling was licking and the appearance wasn't inviting.
Location Clean Comfortable bed
Stairs to reception Tired hotel
Location is good
No parking , beds are not good , WIFI was not accesable , staffs are not friendly .
no window in the room, extremely small room, hairdrier not working, very slow internet, poor breakfast in small reception area
Location was great. Buses and metro are nearby, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and nightclubs in the area. The hotel itself is clean, I would go again.
Parking is at an extra cost and can be expensive. Hotel offers a parking garage nearby at $30/night but places are limited. Surrounding garages can cost up to $60/night.
Hotel needs a facelift but having said that it is not expensive for a capital city
Price was good (through booking.com). Location was convenient.
Ice machine did not work for our entire week-long stay (during the summer); wifi worked in the lobby, but in the hotel rooms it was awful; windows painted shut (so no possibility of fresh air); doors between rooms were not sealed properly, so we could see into the room next to ours, and hear every word the other people were saying!
Dirty bathroom, shabby decoration, stained carpet, no plug in bath, when I asked for one told none available as they didn't want us to have a bath, told to shower! Manager unavailable or possibly in hiding! Didn't have breakfast but a bowl of cereal and a cake for five dollars and having to sit in reception to eat it was totally unacceptable.
Price Comfort Room Facilities (AC, TV and other Accessories)
1. Internet Wi-fi was not so effective 2. Parking may be an issue
Helpful staff, room with private bathroom, microwave in the lobby, 20 minutes walk to the city center.
Our room was next to the foyer and to the elevator. It was very noisy.
Room was very good Service excellent A good location
Eating breakfast in the reception area Breakfast not very good
Not friendly to offer advice to visitors on travel to attractions
Very place in Washington
Location..that's about it.
when I went up to the room, it wasn't ready, but to my surprise and disbelieve found the housekeeper lying on the bed, munching out and watching a soap opera. i got upset. The housekeeper was so startled she didn't know what to say. then when she composed herself told me why didn't they assign me another room that was ready and that this room was going to take about twenty more minutes to be ready. Nevertheless i stood there and waited till she finished. At that moment I didn't complain about the housekeeper since i was with my two daughters and was staying for two nites didn't want to make a scene, however, didn't trust these people either. the morning of my departure i informed the desk clerk (Pablo) of the incident, he told me he was going to take care of it and report her. I didn't like being charged $5.00 per person for continental breakfast per day. This breakfast was so minimal (coffee, tea, juice, cold cereal, waffles and a couple of muffins) on top of it all no place to eat, you have to sit in the waiting area if you wanted to drink or eat something. i also didn't like the room had no dresser for us to put our clothes in. a very small closet and few hangers. we had to leave most of our clothes in our bags. The toiletries could use some fragrance enhancement.
