Very poor breakfast
Good location and good transport.
Didn't have windows, it was a very small room with an outdated air conditioning, no bedside lamp and it has a very old feel to it in general.
Room is like walking in closet not clean bathroom is so smol you cant shower in to smal
Although this is an old building, the room had all updated facilities. Bed was great--feels very new. Location is near attractions. Plenty of shops, stores, & restaurants
Location, location, location
Very old and needed a total upgrade.
Location Shower was good
No wifi in the room, just in the lobby
Location Spacious room
Old interior It could be a bit cleaner
Even though the room is a little bit old, the bathroom was clean and big. Nice staff and good location.
The hotel is a little bit dated.
location, cheap and good (optional) breakfast
really slow or not working wi-fi- one person connects to internet the other didn't have
location was within walking distance of everything we required. the room had its own balcony. helpful staff.
room badly in need of redecoration although all facilities present. The room was small and awkwardly shaped, at the back of the hotel. However, it served ok as a base and we were out most of the time.
The staff were friendly, and the location was good for easy access to the metro and getting around.
We booked a double room that was too small for two people and luggage. The bed sheets had holes in as did the mattress protector. The air conditioner unit was blowing onto the headboard so could not be used when sleeping as it vibrated the bed and iced your head.
Walking distance to the White House. Good looking building and rooms. Clean and quiet. Luggage storage available but your luggage is just waiting for you in the hallway.
No suitcase/wheelchair friendly driveway in front of the building! I usually don't mind draging my suitcase few stairs up but there's lots of stairs in front of the hotel! Front desk agents were not enthusiastic at all. No internet access in the room, internet access available in the lobby. Hairdryer didn't work.
It is a good location, only a short walk from the nearest metro station and the national mall so for two student travellers it was good. All the staff were very nice and gave helpful tips on where to visit.
The facilities is quite old, but it is to be expected with the price.
Good value for money and a nice location. It is around a 20-30 minute walk to attractions such as the White House, monuments and museums. Breakfast could be added for $5 a day which is a nice extra. Room was smallish but had an en suite, it was clean and comfortable!
Some staff weren't as friendly or as helpful as others but this didn't phase us and we enjoyed our stay here regardless.
It was close to the tourist attractions and hip areas of DC
The high cost was due to the location and nothing else, the rooms are only just big enough for a double bed, there are wires sticking out of the walls, paint peeling off the ceiling, the WiFi doesn't work and breakfast is $5 extra, I've stayed in better budget motels than this hotel
The staff was sweet and great! Food was awesome! Never had any complaint with noise!
The front desk staff is not well trained for the job it seems. They don't even greet you with a smile.
wifi didn't work except in the hotel lobby. I guess you get what you pay and I should have picked initially a better quality place in terms of internet connection, comfort, facilities, etc. It's a good hotel for backpackers which this time wasn't my case. I ended up leaving before the first night and book another place.
Location / city center
Poor welcome No ice machine No fridge no microwave No wifi in the rooms If you need to park a car manage this on your own ! Option for breakfast to forget
Just off 14th street, which has a great variety of shops and restaurants. Good wifi signal. Less than 10 mins walk to metro.
The bed was really not comfortable.
Location, good bathroom, cable
Little Stinky, very small room
I stayed in this hotel for participating conference. the hotel looks old, but it was quiet, clean, and easy to access convention center.
The breakfast need to be improved. They should add other food, such as yogurt or fruits. And, I stayed at double room, and there is no window and lots of paintings were hung, which make me scared.
the only problem is that there was no ice, the machine was broken and the hotel offered no alternative. In addition, parking is limited and expensive $ 30 USD per day.
Convenient access to restaurant and metro to downtown.
Rooms were small, outdated and not very clean. Housekeeping staff was not very thorough.
Close to DuPont
Scary dirty, unsafe feeling.
