No shampoo and conditioner. Lacking good breakfast for the price of the room.
- Very big room; - Quiet.
- Breakfast was non-existent: just some OJ and muffins. - The light didn't work over the sink so you couldn't shave properly; - The hot water for the shower was just warm.
Large rooms with a dividing wall between the bed and sitting area. Free breakfast was basic.
The value money
The carpet was very dirty. Not a clean room, as it should be.
Bed was comfortable, good shower
Very dirty, carpet stains, walls with dead spider, sheets with cigarette burn marks, welfare facility with people up until 3:00 AM. Internet spotty at best, no coffee with maker, 'breakfast' was store bought donuts and coffee
Lady at front desk was cheerful and efficient
The place was really dirty. Honestly, it was just plain filthy. I don't think you should work with companies that advertise free breakfast and then don't have it. We had a choice of English Muffins we could remove from a bag, a jar of strawberry jam, mini-muffins in a bin from Safeway and nothing else. The value of this was about $1.00. There were 4 chairs at a single table and we were not allowed to take the food out.
Location was great for our needs. Staff gracious and helpful. Room spacious with couch, microwave and refrigerator. The queen bed was clean and comfortable and the room was clean and nicely organized with a 4' high wall that divided the bed from sitting/living/relaxing area.
We needed a place to sleep before lab tests the next day. Briarwood was more than adequate for our needs--no complaints.
Mostly quite and friendly staff.
Toilet keep backing up. card key kept cancelling every day of our stay.
Some of the front desk clerks were nice, but a couple were rude.
thin walls, could hear everyone. Lots of wear and tear, pillows were too thin - neighborhood was questionable.
Receptionist tried to accommodate us, although she put us in a knowingly bad, uncleared room first. She was nice and did try.
The place is very run down, I don't know how it could pass any inspection. The first room had not been cleaned, probably for weeks. The old tobacco smoke odor was extreme and could not be avoided anywhere in the place, we were told that they were non-smoking, wrong. We addressed our needs and we're moved to a cleaner room, the odors and dirt were still there. The bathroom fan did not work, the door was near falling off the hinges, it was an altogether very bad experience. We travel to Portland frequently, just got caught off guard with this one. We're done with that place and your agency. You really should have a clue when you represent and rate the places you book. We're done, no reply needed.
This was a second visit. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I like the room amenities. Great desk and sitting area. Fridge, microwave and counter space for food. Separate sink area from the bathroom. I understand this facility is under different management from last year and they are trying very hard to work out the wrinkles. I have felt very safe both visits. I would definitely return in the future.
I was given a non-smoking room that had obviously been used recently for smoking. The replacement room had a number of items that were missing...dowel in the closet, hangers, plug for the tub, light bulbs and the room had to be re-keyed a number of times.
The room was large.
Really don't appreciate getting bogus $50 charge. US bank fraud unit has been notified. Stuff was old and kind of worn. There were some questionable characters roaming around smoking and just hanging around. I had heard about motels abusing the incidental charges but first time I've had it happen.
My families treatment of the older male employee. I am military and he treated me and my family like we were degenerates.
Quiet and dark- good for sleep
Routine stuff - light bulb missing and staff has no replacement; key card doesn't work- staff moves us upstairs; no hair dryer staff can not find one. These things are treated as normal
Staff was friendly and helpful. Free wifi (but not very strong). Didn't hear street noise. They had a few breakfast items (mini- muffins, coffee, oj). No sketchy people hanging around.
It wasn't the best looking room. Some exposed drywall screw heads. The outside door frame was recently replaced but the dead bolt hole wasn't completely drilled out so it didn't bolt all the way. We could hear a neighbor coughing, so a noisy neighbor could probably be disturbing.
Nice room w
Maid are loud in the hall ways
The complimentary wifi is pretty good.
It is quite expensive and isn't very clean. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear others walking around in the middle of the night.
absolute wreck. dirty. loud.
No phone in room No bucket for ice No clock Drawer front broken and leaning against the wall Towels smelled like ashtrays Pillows too flat and small
Room was a good size. Person at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. 15 minutes from downtown portland.
Not a great looking neighborhood but didn't see anything happening. Sheets had stains. Breakfast was a small box of store donuts and some mini muffins, all had been put out multiple days not fresh.
