Jorge the owner is fabulous! He upgraded my teenage daughter and I to a suite at no extra cost, picked us up at the airport, drove us to the beach for dinner in the evening, and took us back to the airport after we checked out in the morning. Oh, and served us a delicious breakfast under the palm trees by the pool. Amazing! I had forgotten that such wonderful customer service existed any more. We will be back every year! No outlet for blow dryer in the bathroom. A small inconvenience considering everything else. So I have to blow dry my hair in the kitchen? I can deal with that.

Location within walking distance of hop-on, hop-off bus and local restaurants. WiFi included and worked well. Room generally shabby. Private bathroom and small kitchen well overdue for refurbishment. Cheap bed and bedding (found bug in bed). No coffee maker in kitchen. Mis-matched stained cups.

Not what was expected, photos give the wrong impression. Seemed like a drug rehab retreat facility. Not professional at all. No one asked for my credit card upon checking in nor did I sign any kind of an agreement. Never staying there again!! Television didnt work in the first room they tried to put us in and the air conditioner wasnt working correctly.

The location makes it very convient to multiple shops and restuarants. Our room was upstairs but there was no elevator. The room smelled musty. The floor was tile and slippery. The bed was awful. The furnishings were old and from a second hand store. I paid for a junior suite but is was smaller than a regular room. Get a room with two beds for a larger room. The breakfast was continental and was seraved outside. Fortunately it didn't rain.

The hotel owner was very accomodating and provided us with transpertation from and to the airport. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Pretty outdated especially the bathroom. No electrical plug-ins, no plug for the bathtub. The continental breakfast was regular sized boxes of cereal, regular sized bags of bread, large bottles of juice and all guests were helping themselves.

Jorge and his band of merry men were a breath of fresh air in Lauderdale! Fabulous ambiance in the middle of a city! Five minutes to the port, a pool behind a fence to shut the world out, an incredibly inexpensive ride to the port, the option of leaving your vehicle at the Bridge....in a world of cookie cutter hotels, this one remains with you!

The owner/manager was fantastic! I arrived late in the evening, he recommended a nearby restaurant, and had me checked in quickly. The following morning he had a continental breakfast available by the pool with fresh coffee (not instant), tea, juices, fruit, bagels and toast. It gave the guests an opportunity to meet and mingle before leaving for the day. This hotel is very utilitarian - I disliked the fact I was unable to take a bath as I was looking forward to a leisurely tub after a day of travel. While there was a tub, the option was not available because the shift from tub to shower had been removed, there was a large hole in the tub and no plug was to be found

Friendly staff. The rooms need to be remodeled/renovated. Feels like from the old era. No need for shelves behind the bed; I almost hit myself hard twice. Bathrooms can be improved as well. Would be a good idea to change the mattresses and put new white covers. Again, the bed sheets were from an old era. I would give it a 6/10. With few improvements, can become an 8/10.

The level of service is outstanding. Jorge's shuttle is totally accommodating to our airport/cruiseport needs and very timely. They are constantly working on maintenance of the hotel. The first suite we stayed in needed a deep cleaning. The second time a different suite was very nice. I would not recommend this to others because they probably would like more of a Hilton experience. We are happy as long as our accommodation is clean; our second unit here was very nice.

Staff was very friendly. Pu service from airport and service to cruise ship was provided free. Breakfast was provided but we missed it as we walked up to stores. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Kitchenette in room w/dishes, microwave, refrig. Pool. We only stayed overnite before going on a cruise. Picked because of price and location. Would be good for family on a budget for week or so. All in all, pleasantly surprised. They are obviously in process of redecorating and doing a nice job. The woodwork in our room had not been painted yet...if you want to count that as a dislike!

The Bridge at Cordova is my first port of call whenever I am staying in Ft Lauderdale. I don't think that you could find anywhere that comes close to the friendliness and tranquilty of the whole place The Captains Rooms are my favourite with there semi private patio lounging areas, kitchens and on-suite bathrooms.Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Love the place.Hope it stays just as it is. Love having breakfast at the pool in the morning.

It was in a prime location for where I needed to be (a ten minute walk to the Convention Center). There are many different eateries available within walking distance. I would definately stay here again.Matter of fact,my wife and I are going on a cruise at the end of November and we are going over to Ft.Lauderdale the night before and I've already have made a reservation to stay here.

My room - perhaps all rooms - are on the first floor. Full kitchen with refrigerator. Nice lcd tv. No Internet access - neither wired not WiFi. No bar of soap provided. No hair dryer - until you ask as the front desk. Then get substandard hair dryer. A/C unit is high up on the wall. I had to stand up on a chair to adjust the temperature. A/C unit ran constantly on any setting and was noisy.

We have only good things to say about the Bridge at Cordova hotel, from being transported to and from the airport to at no cost to clean facilities, Jorge and his team provide high quality service to the guests. The ambiance is so friendly that you feel you are staying at a relatives home, guests and staff are friendly. The neighborhood is safe enough to take a walk anytime of day or night. The hotel is located near shops, restaurants, supermarket, and is 5 minutes from the beach by car or if you are not driving the trolley‘s fare is only 50 cents and takes you to the beach in 5 minutes. The swimming pool is well kept and is open from 7 to 7 Continental breakfast is provided, but there are also restaurants nearby in case a full gourmet breakfast is desired. There are plenty of big name hotels nearby, but if we go back to Fort Lauderdale with all certainty we will be staying at The Bridge at Cordova Hotel. When you are treated like family....you don't want to go...but all good things come to an end!!

Nothing - we tried to spend as little time there as possible It was old and junky. TV didn't work, AC was noisy, Bath exhaust fan broke, there wasn't enough light to read by.

Reasonable cost, excellent instructions as to how to get to Miami South Beach, art deco area, and Key Largo. Great recommendation for dinner. Wish there had been an electrical outlet in the bathroom or somewhere near a mirror.

You asked "what did I like best?",..I had a place to sleep for the night,..I did however appreciate the tranfer to the ships dock. The driver was very nice about it. I absoultely was not happy with the older desk clerks attitude. I got accused of "being impatient" about as soon as I got there to exercise my booking, and the way I seen it, it was for no reason. Maybe it was a misunderstanding I don't know. But I was simply excited. The younger gentleman was much nicer. The place showed its age/ maybe a slight need of some maintence?
