Great price Very clean Nice staff Great location
Excellent location, great staff and clean rooms. Don't be put off by the shared bathrooms for some of the rooms, they were incredibly clean and just outside the room.
Amazing location, excellent staff, comfortable and pretty clean room. Good value.
Clogged, shared shower
Shower outside, no hot water, no heater, no AC, nothing good facility, bed is hard
The lift was too old and not good
Location is good. Restaurants, cafes, supermakets are very close. Subway station only 2 blocks away.
Found a rat in my room on my 3rd night. Got to change rooms immediately, but wouldn't stay there again.
cockroach in bathroom!! terrible!!!
Price, Location. Deposit is only 5$ for key. Bed is not bad.
For one night only. There're almost no funiture inside room. Cold water in the bath (you need wait 5 min for warm water)
Staff were very kind and helpful. Hotel was close to subway.
Wifi wasn't that good.
The position was so convenient just a block from subways, lobby had a kitchenette were to have light meals or breakfast, room at the 7th floor with nice view over broadway, staff always helpful. Would definitely recommend to a friend or stay again in future!
room was clean and tidy, maid come in everyday to make bed and empty bin. layout was perfect and plenty of plug sockets. location was excellent if you like to be out the way and quiet.
i didn't like the fact the water went from hot to cold all the time in the shower. Could have done with double glazing as the road next to the hotel can be very noisy. Bed could have been softer.
The attention of the reception staff, they left me waiting for the room for more than an hour. Even if I arrived before the check in time, I just wanted to leave my backpack at the bedroom, and they were not polite at all.
Place, storage. Bed was fair, though sheets smell was not good in one night.
Internet was very poor in rooms, Bathroom was not clean most of the time, seen a cockroach more than once.
Close to subway Always someone at reception nice room DVDs Friendly staff wifi affordable
Noise from other guests
After booking here for about a year in advance and receiving emails as to them waiting for our visit , I was told on our arrival we must stay at the Marrakech Hotel for our first 3 nights and then could return to Broadway Hotel for the last 2 nights. They were sorry for the inconvenience and would "through in a couple of breakfasts to compensate. We made a deal with the people at the Marrakech to remain by them at the same price. Thumbs down to Broadway and double thumbs up to Marrakech.
Staff, reception area & general cleanliness.
Hotel sign not easy to see at night. Wi-Fi not reliable. Heating system clanks at times through the night.
The Broadway hotel is your home in the upper west side! it's welcoming and cozy. clean and comfi room over looking Broadway. The staff is very courteous and helpful, the checking-in/checking-out process is fast and easy.
missing a full-size mirror in the room and some hangers in the bathroom
No Telephone in Rooms Shared Restrooms & Bathrooms Only Bed and No side tables No Chairs
very close to the metro; staff is very friendly; airport shuttle; cheap luggage storage;
the heating in the room makes strange noise.
Only one staff so far that's very nice. The bell boy service are good too.
Most of the staffs are not standard in treating customers in terms of charges and friendliness.
At least they referred us onward.
We ended up[ a few blocks away at their sister hotel Marrakech with no change in what we paid. Marrakech was OK.
There is metro station nearby.
Bad WIFI connection, the window is not sealed well so too cold in the night.
The place is good and close to Cloumbia University. Feel comfortable to walk at night.
The bed is horrible and you can even find hair in the carpet. Tiny room, horrible elevator, won't come back.
This hotel is only 2 block away of subway 1 and bus 104, which is very convenient to go basically anywhere. But if you want to drive in NYC it is not very good hotel to choose. Although parking on street is free and no reservation is required, it is super hard to find one. We were driving around for at least half an hour to find a position. And whatch out hydrant, at least $110 fine would be issued if park to close.
Wifi is pretty slow, and the room size is relatively small, about 5-8 meter square. Heater works too well but room is not ventilated unless you would like to open door. In the morning hot water comes slow on 7 floor and street is a little bit noisy at late night. But if you are looking some place of fair price and easy traffic access, it's not a bad choice.
Good location, good staff
The bath wasn't clean well. The cold wind was blowing from the window. But anyway it's NY, I can't complain for this price....
