Nice clean hotel in a safe area, good value!
The price was the best thing for such a cute little place in an awesome location. Safe and clean!
Shared bathroom concept.
This is a great location. Despite some reviews I felt the area was very safe. Safer than downtown at times. I am a 27yo, female traveling solo and felt safe at every point. The staff is friendly. The hostel was safe and clean. No dingy smell or strange people. Definitely would go back!!
Not much I didn't like. Awesome stay.
Very comfortable to live!
Staff is rised up money rate when we decided to prolong our staying in hotel!
THE CREW IN THE LOBY
Good price for being placed in New York - Manhattan. Kitchen (fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle) and living room available for all guests.
Quite old facilities, badly insulated (for noise, cold...) rooms and uncomfortable beds. No wi-fi in the rooms, just in the hall.
5 mins work to Chinatown and 10 mins bus ride downtown
we had a fabulous ensuite bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and bed comfy. 4 blocks to express subway station and 2 blocks to local station. Easy to get around from here.
Stairwells were run down and didn't give an indication of the room.
I loved the clean bathrooms. Even though they were shared, it certainly did not feel like that. I just loved the location and I felt very safe.
Thank you, thank you thank you!!!
Low price. Location. Clean restrooms. Frandly personnel.
Poor facility in the room. Only two socket in the room, on the wall, so if you want to charge your phone you put it on the floor in the middle of the room. No any lamp in bed space. No curtains on the bed. Small and flat pillow.
Its helpful staff and its location.
It was a bit noisy
Staff is kind.
1. Mouse in my room. 2. Smell of the room.
Good location. Available in the area we needed to be.
Service fair. Room spartan aged and dowdy. No extras.
Great location and value for money. Central Park, the subway and good food and drinking options all in walking distance or short subway ride away. Staff were excellent. Great neighbourhood, always felt safe going out at night. Would recommend Broadway hotel to anyone.
There were only a couple of things we didn't like and they were minor. The building is quite old and our room didn't look like the photo that is displayed, it was comfortable but worn, had a old noisey air conditioning unit and the beds weren't that comfy. But considering the location and the price these things were easily overlooked. We also noticed it was under renovation so it will only get better, the bathrooms on our floor had been recently renovated and were great.
- Rooms were cleaned every day - Size of the room - Facilities in the hotel (ATM, fridge, microwave) - Flatscreen TV - Shower in bathroom on the 7th floor we stayed at - Toilets flush very well - Swift check in and check out
- Most restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel - Elevator (too small and slow; made me claustrophobic) - Doors don't close properly (slits in the doors)
Was upgraded to a private room which was nice, clean and a good size Mostly friendly staff Large area to hang around with aircon and a TV Wifi in room Good TV
Shared rooms -creaky bunk beds, tiny little sheet and pillow
The room was large and well set out, the air con was great (and much needed) and the staff were friendly.
The entry to our floor was being painted (strong paint smell all down the corridor); the cleaners helped themselves to chocolate in our room - bring a lock for your bag.
Great beds. Clean and tidy room and private bathroom.
See-thru shower from the room View on Broadway
Torn & used carpet Slow elevator Crammed lobby & hallways
good position perfect quality/price relationship
poor sound insulation antiquated corridors
Location was perfect for me, really close to the subway and far enough away from the heavy noise of Times Square. It's very basic but that's all we wanted a be to sleep in and a shower. I don't have any complaints at all this hotel was perfect for our needs. I will return to this hotel in the future.
Little bit of a funny smell
The location was great, close to the subway and safe. The lobby is nice and there is a good common area to hang out in.
We were expecting bunk beds, but we weren't expecting that the room was the size of a jail cell. There was about 2 feet of space to move around. Unfortunately we saw a cockroach upon entering our room.
The staff were v helpful
short train ride to times square. close to central park. really good market very close by. staff are excellent very helpful
