“The location was great! Lots of places to eat and see in walking distance. Awesome coffee shop(Notes from the Underground) and mini mart right down the road. A beautiful old church right out our window and a large community deck off the second floor to enjoy a nice evening on.”

Easy access to all points in San Francisco. You can catch a bus right at the hotel. Noisy. Old hotel and not sound proof. Can hear traffic and people walking around all hours

I rated everything excellent because it was! ----super clean! Free parking, EZ internet access always available, incredible location on VanNess at Broadway so was central to everything---I will return here as soon as possible The ice machine was broken but bought ice 1 block away--no problem for me

Our stay was absolutely flawless. Inn on Broadway could use more parking spaces, but other than that, perfect!

Inexpensive and very clean. Even though everything wasn't brand new, everything felt very clean. This was my first trip to SF and I was hesitant about staying here, but I really wanted a cheap hotel--I was very pleased with the whole experience. The staff was a little bit curt.

Hotel was nice, love the location and excellent night life close by. Scary experience... the dead bolt in my room was broken and I was imprisoned in my hotel room for an hour before s.f.f.d. busted me out. thanks guys!

The room was clean, The bed was comfortable. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was also very good and the parking was free. It was noisy, but ear plugs took care of the noise. Because of the positive reviews other people had written on the Inn is why I booked it and I agree with everything I read about it. I would stay there again. We stayed 7 nights. The reviews I read said it was noisy so I brought ear plugs. The appearance of the building had given me second thoughts about booking it, but I had seen the reviews of the Inn on another website and booked it with you.

Good location. Rather noisy, because of the big road that is very close.

Proximity to downtown without the price of union square or (as much of) the less desirable elements of the Tenderloin Although there is fewer speculatively "shady" people that use the motel as compared to the Tenderloin and adjacent neighborhoods, they can still be seen around but everyone is very respectful, private and no trouble or complaints

The room was very clean, modern furniture and fixtures, bed very cozy and comfortable, nice sheets and bedding. The best part of the hotel is the room. And I enjoyed free parking in the city. The only thing I have to criticize is the garbage that was strewn on the ground in the garage, riff raff that were sitting in the walkway of the hotel, like it was their front porch. Thankfully the inside of the room was absolutely no representation of what it looked outside. I would stay again because the price is excellent for such a nice room.

It is what it is, most of the cheaper end type motels that I have stayed in over the years in San Francisco are all roughly on a par with each other. Slightly dated, a bit rough and ready, and usually noisy, ( this one was definately an ear plug jobbie ) traffic and thin walls and ceilings are the main issues, however on the upside, it was a good sized room, it was clean, and it was comfortable ( apart from the pillows ) it is right by Polk street which has some really really good and varied eating places, within short walking distance. It also has good free parking, which is a huge bonus in San Francisco, I've certainly stayed in worse, so I wouldn't be averse to coming back. Concrete pillows, and noise noise noise

Location and the room. There's were no captions on the remote or the tv. We r deaf and there's no subtitles or caption so we could watch tv. But other than that it was really nice place to stay.

Room was large, clean, comfortable. King-sized bed was comfortable and we sleep well. Cafe attached to hotel had an excellent cook, friendly and likable waitress, and was perfect for breakfast. Loved the location, because my grown daughter and I attended two important judo events that consumed all day and evening, which were at locations 15 minutes from the Inn on Broadway. We felt lucky to get a room at all, because the marathoners must have snapped up most of the rooms all over town. It was exciting to be surrounded by nighttime traffic throughout the night---a novelty for us---& the ambient noise cancelled out the sound of my gentle snoring, so my daughter didn't need earplugs. The elevator must be the oldest I've ever used (& I'm 71 & have been in lots of elevators). It loudly groaned, moaned, and shuddered violently as it ascended. Thankfully, it got us to the selected floor w/o stopping. We were astonished it ran at all. The elevator and the room smelled musty, but the room aired out quickly after we opened the window. The toilet shutoff valve should be replaced. It's as old as the elevator (just kidding on its age, but it still needs to be replaced).
