Clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast area was way too small to accommodate the number of guests who wanted to sit down.
Spacious room, location and helpful staff
We are non-smokers, but given a room with smoke smell; Wash basin too small; No wardrobe; breakfast pasties could be better tasting; 24-hour room service served very poor quality burgers
Location was great and room was fine. A bit on the small size. Easy to check in.
I would say the rooms are very fair. Seems old. While everything was clean I would not say this a modern nice hotel.
The rooms where a little on the small side with limited hanging & storage space. The lift was slow.
Location was fine with Metro nearby, staff were excellent the concierges (all of them couldn't gave been more polite or helpful!
When you pay $1000 for 3 nights in a hotel paying $10.83 per night extra for wifi is just not on in 2014, particularly in New York ... possibly the most 'connected' city on the planet. It's just a rip off. They don't need to do it, they choose to!
I travelled with my parents for Christmas shopping bf sight seeing. Had a great time. Hotel 6 min walk to Macy's then bother 5 mins on to that for times sq. perfect we didn't get one taxi. We got the subway which is 1 min away down to the port for Statue of Liberty and little Italy etc. no complaints on breakfast either and free coffee and tea all day long. We had a view of Empire State building from our window too and staff were super nice and very helpful for tours and transport
No complaints at all
2nd time we have stayed here. Hotel is clean and our room was a good size. Staff were very pleasant and really helpful. Have stayed in Times Square in the past in more expensive hotels but we would definitely go back to The Broadway Plaza as we loved and the staff as I have said were great. Thanks for making our holiday so good. Hope to see you all again in 2015.
Convenient to the business I was visiting. Staff friendly and helpful. Felt safe as a solo traveller.
TV in the corner made for difficult viewing angle from the bed. Bed was uncomfortable - need firmer mattresses; can tell they're older. Lighting in the bathroom bad for putting on makeup.
Big room size and central location. Could get two queen beds, which is hard to find in Manhattan. WiFi cost is about half as much as many others charge, but it should really be free.
Contracted room service restaurant was absolutely terrible. Hotel was not as elegant as I'm used to. Neighborhood is not that nice; it is wholesale district.
Generally great service located in the heart of the city. No complaints, breakfast was sweet & simple, I'd return most definitely.
Nothing to dislike, good hotel!
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room decor was lovely and modern for 3 star, the bed very comfortable. The subway station less than a minute away! Overall, great value for money!
The neighbourhood, although very convenient in the middle of Manhattan, a bit dodgy with shady characters. Still, felt quite safe.
Great location on 27 street and broadway, 2 mins from flatiron and empire state. Hotel nothing flash but very clean and comfortable,
Very small and cramped lobby but hey , you don't go to newyork to sit in the hotel !!
The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was exactly what one would expect.
I was woken up every morning by the sounds of my neighbors talking and singing in the shower. Also would have been good to know the pillows were down before I slept on them.
The room was of good quality and comfort. The staff were very helpful and polite.
The breakfast area was a bit small for the amout of people using it. (Could do with tea and coffee facility in room.)
Location was excellent, room was clean and beds comfortable. Starbucks almost opposite. Concierge guys helpful and friendly.
Very noisy on Friday night. Breakfast area cramped, only used once through the four days.
Loved the size of our room! Very friendly staff and so helpful.
The view Spacious room Staff Comfortable bed
Breakfast very limited options
The location was great, very central and convenient. The room was very big (although that's something I don't care about that much) and beds were very comfortable. The staff was nice too.
The price is high. The breakfast was very basic and the breakfast area was very small, although at least you could take it to your room on a tray. It was missing a tv room or something. It only had vending machines on one floor, but that was it. Also, internet is paid apart, when most places that are cheaper include free internet.
The rooms are not cramped. They are very clean. The staff was courteous and to the limited extent they were needed for anything, pleasant. Nice, big, late-model wide-screen TV. Room came with a mini-fridge.
Rather depressing "lobby" (really a long corridor and a cramped area in front of the desk) that could seriously use spiffing up. One very very slow elevator. Street is not far from Herald Square but it's a dubious block. No free wifi; no real amenities. Furniture, while in good shape, is "vintage." Noisy area at night, even from 9th floor.
Excellent location and value for money.
1. Small rooms 2. Basic decor/ needs updating 3. Tight shower stall 4. Overpriced for what the hotel offers
Beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious and very usable. It was relatively quiet even though our room faced Broadway.
Having to pay for wifi. The water pressure in the shower was fairly non- existant but that could have been a water rationing issue.
Charging Internet because we didn't book direct with the hotel was cheap and unwelcoming! Staff follow up on the issue was non-existent. we presented to the front desk that it was most probable that someone (?another guest, staff?) likely pinched one of our bags at breakfast and we were told they would review the security footage never happened leaving is wondering and several hundred dollars out of pocket on toiletries, electronic adapters chargers and battery packs as well as clothes for the wedding we were in town for, and had yet to attend!
I felt like I was slumming it but paying a penalty in fhe form of a higher rate because I had the nerve to reserve through booking.com
Location is very good as you are very close from everywhere....
All the rest....terrible if you compare on what you see on internet while booking. Below expectations!. Breakfast very bad.
Location, cleanliness and room size.
Room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke.
