We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood but we walked to and from the subway station a couple of times without any problem and met friendly people along the way. The place was clean and comfortable.
Everytime we asked for something at the front desk they never had anything. Our tv stopped working and we asked someone to come fix it they said they would send someone and never did. They left is waiting. And we asked so simple things such as spoons that i had seen alot of at breakfast and again they said they didnt have any at all !
The room was pretty and clean. And everything else was great.
no closet to hang clothing, broken shower rod, sink hole in mattress, no working remote for TV, TV cut off every two hour had to stand in chir to cut back on.No clock, no safty rails in shower this room was not senior friendly Room 102 should be comdemn.Room to small Stain in Carpet
I got this room for me and 2 friends to stay a few hours to sleep before going to opening day at Yankee Stadium. I was looking for a cheap place and close location to the stadium. I saw that this place was rated 3 stars on this site but unfortunately didn't read any reviews. We arrived on Monday April 6th around 1:30am and checked out the 6th at 9am. First, it's an awful area. It's the best looking building in the area from the outside which isn't saying much at all so don't let that fool you. Free onsite parking was about the best thing this place offered. We walked into the lobby and there was a gentleman standing in there that looked like he may have been on drugs. I was honestly scared to go near him or take my eyes off of him. When I walked up to check-in there was a gentleman behind the glass that didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. He was very unpleasant. He finally checked us in but never told us where to go. We found our room on our own. We were room 401. All the doors on the floor looked like someone had been trying to kick them down at some point. Entire place smelled like marijuana. Was supposed to be a smoke free room. Smoke detector was ripped off the wall, writing on the wall. Sheets and carpet had cigarette burns in them. Had to use my sweatshirt as a pillowcase because none of the pillows had any. Heat didn't work very well but I refused to put the sheets on me so I basically froze to death all night. Bathroom was decently clean at best. Hotel is right off the highway and you can hear every car that drives by. There was some banging noise coming from down the hallway that was on again off again from the minute we got into the room until 8 AM. I can only imagine what that was... Someone was out in the hallway yelling at one point. Someone working at the hotel was cleaning the room next door and talking on a two-way radio very loud at 4:30am.
If it wasn't for free onsite parking... Nothing.
Blanket was dirty and i had to call like 4 times to get a new one there was hair of some one else in the blaket
Nothing it was a decent place
Well the fact that is close to co-op city
I called the front desk for another PILLOW at 7pm and at 9:48pm I received a TOWEL.
There was the Odor of marijuana everywhere. If you were to use the elevator it might've gotten high off the stench of the marijuana. With children this is not a place to go to.
i like good bed
i like to book with you
They where teens yelling and shouting at 4 am. Even outside the parking lot. The front desk personal didn't even bother on calling the police. I'm 8 months pregnant I couldn't get any sleep. Really disappointed
My whole experience.
How much they over charged me for the room, and then when i checked out early they charged me for that as well.
The employee's are real rude and disrespectful
The staff was not very friendly. They were not bad but they were not good either. I felt as though I was bothering them whenever I had a question. They were polite but didn't go out of their way to make you feel welcomed!
I love the location, it was very easy to get to. Also, I loved the fact that my room had a microwave and refrigerator. The price was great. Very affordable
Too much to say customer service sucked.
I saw a mouse in my room. No hangers for my clothes, the furniture is out dated.
The bed was comfortable.
Besides the room was very very small considering I reserved my room 2 weeks in advance. I didn't like that there were no wash rags upon entering the room. There was ashes through out the bathroom. The windows were wide open with no screen window. Closets didn't have no hangers for our coats. Beds didn't have blankets & there was a smoke hole in the curtain. For $173.00 a night, that is unacceptable. When we spoke to guest services they brought some towels and wash rags and blankets which were still dirty and had burnt holes in them
The most I liked was that the heater worked
Tv kept going off. Bed was all busted up. Service was bad.
The room was not clean their was hair all over the room smell funny didn't enjoy my stay had to switch rooms
The bed was terrible. Too much money for such a shabby hotel.
Front desk rep..very rude. Breakfast was ice cold. Guests where loud, and very fresh! It's not a family place!!
Wish they had a hot tub/ jacuzzi.. Nothing deluxe about these accommodations.. Kind of ghetto much like the surrounding neighborhood.
Location And that there a few more jobs added to this area.
Costumer service was very bad! And extremely rude !
Dirty beds, musty smell, couldn't get a password that worked the secured wifi, satellite didn't get major channels, water cooler had mold and dirt in the water with a post-it that said don't use.
Was no movie channels
Private and alone
