I needed a nightd stay while my apartment was getting painted. It was okay for that. The WiFi was good. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The vending machines didnt work, which was upsetting. The furniture in the room definitely needs to be updated. Holes and rips and scratches in all of it. For a nights stay it is definitely acceptable. I wouldn't really book again unless absolutely necessary.
My bathroom sink was broken. The room door did not shut all the way. Could here everything in the hotel and outside.
Dirty carpet bed had a large dent in the middle
The fridge kept the drinks cold.
Friendly personnel Spacious rooms, Very close to subway Nice breakfast!
Everything is good
Like because I have a bed to sleep. Nothing else.
Location is far from what stated in website of within 5 minutes walking. The pathway from subway to hotel is dangerous & dark at night although it's sidewalk of highway. It is not recommended for girls traveller. Facilities not complete, doesn't have guest laundry, no luggage storage, low wifi speed, you can't connect to wifi when you're in room.
I was asked entirely too many questions for the purpose of my visit. For example: why am I arriving so late. Where am I coming from..As if I had some bad motive for coming there. It was 5 am in the morning and I being asked 50 questions. The parking was not that great. I had cigarette holes on my sheets, my lamp had no light bulb, one ashtray and the toilet seat lid was entirely to small for the toilet itself. The floor had not been vacuumed trash on the floor.
The hotel I like very much Location is good all Stuff is frendly Next business trip I will Stay again
Kitchen is bit tight The room rate is too high
THE toilet is very loud when flush.
Prostitutes hanging around and even inside of the hotel they even had a room to do there activities in
For one night and the Bronx I did not expect much but the name is what sold me on this location, It is NOT a part of the Sheridan Hotel Chain.
It is not a part of the major hotel chain. The bathroom floor was filthy. The handle fell off the mixing valve of the hot and cold shower. It was difficult to regulate the temp of the water. The breakfast was disgusting. Not much of an offering. The area is very "seedy" at best, but it is the Bronx.
The sheets had burnt cigarette marks in them. The room smelled like weed. The people staying there were up til 4 in the morning screaming and cursing.
Stayed at the Sheridan due to a great experience in staying at sheridan international previously. Unfortunately only discovered that this was not part of the group. - Even though we asked for non - smoking room, every day we smelt cigarettes. - Asked for soaps and towels for two days, before the request was actioned, after I physically went down to reception and asked for it. - Kitchen was not the cleanest and breakfast did not look safe to eat. - Stayed there for 4 nights and did not get room service each day. - The mattress badly in need of replacement. The middle of the bed was nice but the sides felt like we were going to slip off the bed.
i was nice and my loved my stay, it was the night before my Wedding and it was a wonderful experience
i would want the hotel to be a little bit cleaner
The food, the service and that our room did not get cleaned
Mice, cigarette holes everywhere big waste of time, fire hazard big time I work for the state the hotel will be closed very soon
IT WAS QUITE . THE CLEANING PPL WERE VERY NICE SWEET AND HELPFUL
THE BREAKFAST SELECTION COFFEE NO GOOD. I FIGUERED WITH THE MONEY I SPENT. I WOULD OF LIKE BETTER BREAKFAST AND COFFEE.
I did not like anything about this hotel
I did not like the fact that I paid for a Non-Smoking room and was given a Smoking room and was not able to switch. When I asked about breakfast, I was told that they did not have breakfast. There were no cups for water in the room either. A fight broke out a few rooms down from mine and security was called to handle the situation. This is not the type of service or accommodations that I am used to when staying at any hotel, let alone The Sheridan. I spent $200.00 for the room and was completely and utterly disgusted and disappointed in the whole situation. I will never stay at a Sheridan again.
That the housekkepers did a good job.
The breakfast, missing items, the hotel is run by indians- from India. Poor customer svc, english is poor. Not very good in recomnending places. The area is hispanic, so the food is good, bt if u need 2 know some spanish. U need a car. If ur going to Manhattan the whitlock subway station is close by. Its 2.50 per ride, no day pass" ridicilous, they use to have one years ago. It was safe to walk around, even at night.
The rooms smell like smoke. The bath tub was dirty. The toilet seat was about to fall off. The bed had an uncomfortable sink in the middle. The room was dirty. There was mold on the ceiling. You could hear everything that was going on in the next room. Example: people peeing. The lobby had bums sleeping in it. Just horrible.
The door to my room didn't close all the way. The room was neat, but hadn't been cleaned/dusted in weeks.
Nothing, rip off in them getting taxis!!!
The room as advertised as handicap accessible. It was not
Just terrible. The staff in charge of the kitchen yelled at guests everyday for coming to breakfast 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. The she'd close 15 minutes before the stipulated time. Customer service skills....clearly lacking
The desk staff were courteous.
The hotel was dirty. Furniture was ripped and torn in the room and the lobby. In places the wallpaper was stapled together in the hallways. There were walls where the paint was peeling. The tap in the bathroom was broken and leaking water. The other guests were vocal with us about their disappointment in this hotel. The toaster in the breakfast area was broken. There were no tongs for the food so people were using their hands.
