Close to the highway and attractions Helpful staff.
Small room with no luggage rack. Pillows were hard. Overpriced for the room we got.
I was satisfied. Little expensive, but that could be expected during the fall when the leaves are in color.
Right off the highway. Clean, nice staff.
Only complaint was the pillow was horrible. Forgot my own pillow, the pillow was so thin I woke up with a headache.
I really appreciated it's convenient location to downtown and the Biltmore, but away from the traffic.
They had a slight stink-bug problem. :(
Brookstone Lodge has an informal, homey atmosphere. The staff is very helpful, everyone is friendly and willing to help beyond the required, the beds were comfortable, has plenty of parking, and is an excellent location. The homegrown flowers placed around the lobby and in the dining room were a lovely touch.
Hotel was clean and up to date.
Air Conditioner was very noisey. Toliet would randomly run and was quiet loud at night.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Carpet is old. Smells. New carpet is stairwell is good. Overpriced for facilities.
it was close to the attractions we wanted to enjoy and easy access to the freeway. the staff was knowledge of the area and how to get to the attractions.
to us the bed was a little to hard on us. the water was hard and had a smell to it while making coffee.
clean and close to highway. quick drive into town to visit the Estate
I booked two separate nights and booking.com messed it up. Despite telling the clerk i was staying two separate nights, there was an issue requiring to reach me during my vacation stay
Location was great for traveling to other sites. Staff was very helpful and courteous! Overall worked out ok.
Rooms were too noisy from hallways and upstairs room, and from the road outside. Big tub was out in the open. The rooms decor was a little on the worn side.
Clean and comfortable room Nice breakfast
very small room compared to standard chain hotels
Proximity to Biltmore
Parking insufficient Mattress uncomfortable
Location with easy access to biltmore, our purpose of the trip.
Room was small and too crowded for a king size bed.
Great staff. My husband liked the inside pool and whirlpool. Our daughter and husband loved the all you can eat brunch. Your staff deserves a raise. Your managers are pure class.
a nice room for the money with a pretty good breakfast.
no complaints except parking for a large pick up truck was challenging.
Room and furnishings were modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great and was very quiet!
Only negative would be if you want to be in town this is not the best location. Not a walkable place, right off the highway. But very close to Biltmore estate.
Wi-Fi connection was terrible. My wife I had to sit in the lobby to use the connection and even then it would come and go. The staff reset the router, which didn't really help, and even commented how terrible the Wi-Fi always is. This needs resolved!
Convenient to interstate and Biltmore. Breakfast.
They might want to warn people that there are several addresses that are the same as the hotel's. The GPS first took us to someone's private driveway, then to a pretty bad neighborhood. We found the hotel with the 3rd try! People need to be sure they put in the correct zip code!
Staff was nice. Hotel was clean & neat.
Room was stuffy. No shower fan. Only mirror in room was in bathroom. AC unit was very noisy. Toilet ran off & on all night. Maid carts clogged up 1st floor hallway entire time.(hard to get through to lobby)
bathroom was roomy
need more parking space
bath exhaust fan wasn't working
The hotel appeared to be clean and the staff were friendly. It was not within walking distance of any shopping however it was only a short drive to shopping and the Biltmore house.
The mattress were to firm and not very comfortable.
This place is worth the money and still right near downtown Asheville. Its got a cozy feel on the inside too. I'd recommend it over a lot of plain national chains.
The beds were really stiff, which was good for my back, but could have been a bit more cozy.
