Location is close to Kenmore station
The front staff never smile, at all.
Just a perfect place. Location is great, the subway is really close. Walking you can easily visit Boston university or downtown. Facilities are at a high level. Room is huge, well done with all you need, big bed, table, chair, fridge and kitchen facilities. Wifi is great. You have also a desk.
all was fine.
Room was very dated.
The staff were very friendly, the location was ideal for where we wanted to go.
Our room smelled like smoke after they told us we were getting an "upgrade." They also have incredibly expensive parking which seems crazy considering you can easily park on the street for free.
When I arrived my TV wasn't working and within 10 minutes maintenance brought me a new TV.
the wifi wasn't the best. I had to constantly reconnect
Very close to Subway, very good restaurant with discount
Very Old mattress. Terrible to sleep. There are no basic things in the room, like fork, knife, plate, cup. Since the rooms have microwave and fridge, these itens should be present
Room upgrade at no cost, comfortable bed
Very slow wifi, not enough shelf space in the bathroom
The front desk stuff were very helpful.nice location with a near transportation & starbucks .nice breakfast in their restaurant . Left our bags in the hotel for 4 days to travel to NY and came back for one night to find an upgrade from room to a suite.
When we checked in they gave us a very small room but we complained and they gave us a bigger one but with very old furniture and a very old fashioned Tv . the next day we moved to a better one with new furniture.i think they must renovate all the old rooms....
Noise from outside
Good location, great value
it was a lovely comfortable room with a really comfortable bed .the restaurant had really good food, location great if going to a game .
proximity to House of Blues and commuter train
Gum on carpet near bed. Gross.
They upgraded my room to a suite with two bed rooms and a living room. The coupon for the restaurant was much appreciated.
What a terrible hotel. Booked it because my girlfriend and I were running the Fenway Spartan right next to it. The pictures here looked great. Figured it was a nice hotel. When we got here they "upgraded" my room to a double room. Thought it was nice until we got to the room. Everything inside is old. The night tables and chest drawers were chipped. The bed sheets were stained. Asked if we could change rooms to my original reservations. Staff said everything was taken. I paid for the night and went to a different hotel. Shouldn't have even been charged a night since I stayed for a couple of hours. It's pathetic. I will make sure to post pictures of what we encountered at this place. Horrible hotel.
Very friendly stuff and great location.
I wish there could be coffee machine inside the room
The basic decor. Not sure if they deliberately wanted it to look rustic or it was simply lacking some TLC. I had to request a room change because it was not the high quality I expected for the price I paid.
Location: directly opposite Fenway Park & site of Black Sox scandal. Close to metro & easy access to Boston Common. Close to BU. Close to Starbucks & Barnes/Noble. Limited but excellent menu.
No in-room coffee available.
I'll stay agasin in the future.
position (very near to the green line metro stop, 10 min walk to the Prudential Center); very large room; cleaning.
Buffet breakfast could be faster and better (now, there is a restaurant, you have a 10$ voucher per day)
Upgraded to one of their new king suites. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great value!
Location safe and close to the city.
It is good to have old hotels with history....but sometimes is time for renovation, especially the bathroom and furniture which looked like from a cheep bargain shop and was broken. Not good ratio of money to the state of room. Waitress in the hotel restaurant were terible- 25 min to take the order another 45 min to get simple breakfest.
Location , price, staff was quite nice, on premise restaurant
Small room , cramped rickety elevator, bed was not comfortable
Free Wi-Fi Meal coupons
Poorly lit room. No in-room coffee
Free room upgrades
