staff was very helpful. Food from Fenmore Grill was good. Location was great. Bathroom was updated and the room was clean.
Kitchen areas and furniture are dated. Because of heavy snow parking was challenging, but attendant was very helpful. Some noise from street and street lights made the room bright at night.
Great location and great staff.
Just avoid the rooms that face the highway - they are very noisy.
Very spacious, the staff at the grill bar was really really kind and helpful.
Cold rooms. Tall ceilings may account for this
The location was amazing Located close to public transport
We were upgraded into a room with a living room and kitchen it was wonderful!
Not handicap accessible. There are many doors leading to other hallways and my friend had a very hard time with her wheelchair.
The location, parking next door, room space was great, restaurant downstairs was convenient, very good prices (with 10.00 off voucher per room) and very good food!
Reception staff very knowledgeable about Boston and where to source everything we needed to set up my daughter in her college dorm. Restaurant staff also very friendly and the food at breakfast was superb! Especially with the $10 voucher. Highly recommend the hotel for any purpose and long or short stay. We will return in the summer.
Nothing, just wifi could be a little slow at times but not really an issue.
We could see Fenway Park from our room, nothing else needs to be said. Go Red Sox !!
the staff, spacious room, great price
Upon check in my wife was greeted with happy birthday.Which was nice and theb we were told we got a free upgrade to a premium room. The room was really nice.
Good location, comfortable bed, very clean. Great price.
The first night I was on the side of the hotel where I could hear the signal crossing (it beeps all night). I changed rooms on the second night and it was much quieter.
Courteous staff members. The room and facilities were very clean. This hotel will be my first choice for my subsequent Boston visits.
I prefer a courtesy breakfast similar to the La Quinta free breakfast service instead of $10 meal coupon.
Closeness to BU.
No complimentary coffee either in rooms or in lobby area for guests. Rooms are spartan, but very clean.
Absolutely surprised on how nice the room and amenities were for the price.
No smoking rooms
Very pleasant and friendly stuff. The room was comfortable and clean, excellent bathroom. Great location and a good breakfast.
I did not have a writing desk at my room.
Great location, friendly staff,I have no complaints about my stay at the Buckminster and if i was to return to Boston at any point in the future,I will definitely stay here again
The staff and facilities were excellent. The room was very clean and warm with only a short walk to the nearest T station
The parking garage for hotel customers is very cramped and miserable to get in and out of
Location, front desk team, responsiveness to my request for help when tv stopped working
Thermostat didn't work and even with my coat on top of the blankets, the room was cold, very cold.
It was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful
The living room area was cold even with the heat in high but the bathroom and bedroom was very nice and cozy and warm. The tv in the bedroom was outdated but it worked
The hotel is based at an extremely convenient and central location, less than a minute's walk away from Kenmore Station, with great restaurants and convenience stores nearby. My Queen Room was very spacious and comfortable, and even though it was on the 3rd flood facing the the main road, I I did not hear much noise from the traffic.
The lighting in the room can be quite dim, especially given such a spacious room.
It was a 2 minute walk from my daughters BU dorm room.
Everything was just fine.
Second visit to Boston and this hotel was perfect, good location, easy access to centre, free upgrade to fabulous suite, would definitely recommend and hope to return soon
Staff was so accommodating and even upgraded us to a king size suite with a beautiful view. Fenway was right across the street although we attended a Boston Celtics game which was only a quick cab away.
Convenience and price, but you get what you pay for.
Getting locked out of the room 30 minutes prior to checkout without an empathetic apology from the staff.
