It was very easy to get to from the subway, and we loved being just a short walk away from Fenway. Our room was on the top floor and we had a huge suite with a separate living room. We even had a view of Fenway (which we had requested). Our room was very quiet and pretty cool despite it being a very hot weekend.
We couldn't get onto the wifi, but it wasn't a big issue so we never talked to the staff about it. We had a fridge and a microwave in our room, but no coffee maker.
staff was great
we had a good time. nothing we didn't like
Dirty, old, outdated & WAY overpriced.
Out-of-centre location made us more adventurous and we saw more of the city. Sports lovers are right next to historic Fenway Park. Adjoining Fenmore restaurant served full excellent breakfast. Staff helpful and pleasant.
Although bed was enormous and comfortable, room certainly needed an update. Furnishings, bathroom & electric plugs needed attention.
Excellent location. Hotel, being older, has much character and some corresponding limitations (egs- small elevator)
Expensive, but I imagine one is paying for location (next to Fenway Park, BU, Kenmore Square subway stop, etc.)
Shower was dirty.
Comfortable bed, very clean, tastefully decorated, spacious
Limited Wifi, no shuttle services
Great location. Was able to walk to many desirable points.
The restaurant was not very good.
It was quiet!
no cups in the kitchen... with the coffee maker.
Small stuffy rooms, very noisy
Conveniently located near BU and Kenmore Square
Room too small, furniture old, bathroom with mold in shower, not a full-length mirror, no place to put toiletries in the bathroom. Also, staff not as courteous as in West Coast.
Room overlooked the Green Monster at Fenway park. Hotel is in a pretty central location. Wifi was free. Water vending machine in lobby (great for coming in drunk or waking up with a hangover).
A little spendy. Uber driver couldn't find it based on the address that Uber reports from the front door of the hotel (blame that on Uber's current reverse-geo lookups being terrible).
Reception staff friendly and helpful.
service in dining room was incredibly slow, only two servers for a room nearly full of hungry people.
Great value for money. Amazing room.
Air conditioner is EXTREMELY noisy.
Plenty of clean towels. Bed sheets and comforter were clean and smelled fresh.
Minimalist surroundings. The couch squeaked and was lumpy. Blinds not curtains so the room was never dark. Bathroom fair, toilet handle always needed to be jiggled to stop continuous water flow. TV was old. Lights did not have wall switches, had to be turned on at the lamp. Only two outlets available in the entire suite unless you wanted to start unplugging the lamps and clock radio. Not conveniently located if you wanted to work on the laptop computer.
good tv close to subway restaurant on premises elevator from street to lobby spacious rooms fridge in room but no microwave close to Fenway if you go to a game close to McD, Starbucks, 7 -11, Dunkin Donuts
poor lighting in living room & bath no counter beside sink no place to hang wet towels except bathtub had problems with hot tap (sink) & shower turnoff (practically got burnt) staff gave wrong info to shops no breakfast included
The front desk folks were great. Upgraded me to a junior suite at no extra cost and since I was traveling with my adult son it was very welcome. This is a lovely vintage hotel with all new amenities.
Location, nice staff, Fenmore grill
Bathroom facilities need renovation, strange smell in the elevators
very clean friendly staff
slow internet no utensils in the kitchen only one tv channel list for two TV's
Staff, cleanliness, location.
A little expensive
The location was great, takes about 1 minute to walk to Fenway park. Fenmore grill is awesome, great food! Staff was great and the room was clean, bathroom was spotless!
The room was a little on the small side, and we had some loud neighbors, but that's not the Hotels fault. Our TV was pretty old and the color was off, but we weren't there to watch TV all day. Parking was kinda pricey.
The location was great for our Red Sox game. Check in & out check out were easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were even upgraded upon arrival to a suite.
The AC in our room was so loud that I didn't sleep well. It seems excessively loud so not sure if it's always that way or just something off with it.
Was conveniently situated have previously tried several other facilities but this was the most convenient so far. Will probably use again
The parking is a bear. But next time I will be prepared
The staff that checked us in and out were both friendly and helpful.
No hot water that evening when we showered.
