We enjoyed budget inn. The room was nice. Close to a lot of eating places.
It would had been nice if the a/c had been turned on before we got there. I would suggest using fabric softener when washing the towels. This would like them softer.
price was good for two days
room was small, unclean
It was an awesome location! Very friendly and helpful!
Not so great on breakfast.
The price and location were great. Facilities are undergoing renovation. It was great to have microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator.
Bed was lumpy. Breakfast marginal.
the rooms were very nice, this is a older hotel but very cute rooms, did not smell musty, Very clean. Nice pool too, Like I said older hotel but kept up nicely, and right across from a nice beach, so location was fantastic, i will book there again.
the parking is a little cramped
Location near seawall !!!
Not enough parking!!!
location was very good
late evening lack of parking when inn was full.
Location but will stay at Emarald Beach in the future. Rooms were ok other than big hole in bathroom wall
Workers that cleaned rooms were very friendly and helpful....people that worked front desk were not! There is no breakfast to speak of ..the front desk personnel actually called me and asked when I would be there when I was late he called again like he was pissed off that I wasn't there the minute I said I would be after a 6 hr drive.
Good location Large room
Breakfast was poor Some construction works making getting into the hotel difficult Not enough parking lot
The only thing was the proximity to the seashore. The room looks "interesting", but that's about it.The booking process was satistfactory. The office attendant was courteous.
The entrance, coming down Waters, looks like an alley and it's easy to miss. It's too narrow. The steps going to the upper rooms look terrible. The concrete work is not finished. But then, the area where it's located has been abandoned by the city developers. It looks like the city has no interest in ever building other tourist facilities in the area. That's one of the reasons more travelers are bypassing Corpus Christi and going to Port Aransas and other places by the sea instead. Both Corpus Christi southern area (where Budget Inn is located), needs more attention to attract tourism. The price is too high just for the convenience of being close to seashore.
A great place to stay. easy access to the beach. very nice place for price. clean large rooms, blow dryer, iron an board, coffee pot, free wi-fi, clean pool. very friendly, staff an room service. will defenitely come back
parking is a little close
Location was just what we wanted.
plugs in room did not work
Looks dirty and stinks since you walk up the stars to the rooms. Also not in a good location...
Very unclean inside and outside of rooms. Sleazy atmosphere and very misleading pictures online. Wouldn't reccomend.
Proximity to the beach.
Pool area not clean, wifi never worked, horrible smell in room.
Clean rooms, rooms kept clean dispute being outdated
Ok, if all you need is a bed. Location is block by construction. Across from beach but no crosswalks. Breakfast is a joke. WiFi very slow.
Location to the beach excellent, friendly staff, clean
Construction in front of hotel, not enough parking space or room for everyone at hotel,
We booked this hotel because of its location. The beach is across the street, and other local attractions are a short drive away. We've stayed in Corpus before, and this is the cleanest hotel we've seen in this price range. That said, any older hotel by the beach isn't going to be 100%, but it worked out for us.
We had noisy neighbors. I'm not sure if it's like that every weekend, but I wouldn't be surprised given the location. The continental breakfast is a little sparse. Plan to eat a big lunch at the Seawall on the beach instead.
Close to beach
Nice Indian couple who run motel were friendly and helpful. Older but clean room, nice beds.
Loud, unruly noisy guests, poor soundproofing. Not very safe feeling. High price for what you get.
across from ocean roof top Hotel staff were very friendly
road construction-not their fault needs to be more inviting on roof top (seats, tables, patio umbrellas, tropical plants etc..)
We loved the size of the room..it was very spacious. And the view from our window of the sunrise over the bay was breathe taking.
Parking was horrible , people behind desk couldn't give us directions to anywhere
nice large room
Roads under construction around area, parking limited, door cut too short air escaping under and critters coming in at night we put towels under to block opening
