it was quiet.
My reservation was for a king size bed in a nonsmoking room and I get there and end up with a room that smelled like smoke with two twin beds. Was very unhappy but to tired to fuss anymore than I did.
Price, front desk was as kind as can be and let me stay after checkout time so I could iron my clothes for work.
Family of baby rats outside my door
those outdated photos of the place. in desperate need of renovations. u must got a lot of fake reviews. go se for ur self!
The price was great.
Dirty Smells Bugs Not a good location to stay at
I liked that it was a place I could live with my kids, we came here to relocate and the person we were to live with said we cant stay, so it is a blessing that we have a roof over our heads. It is more decent than the shelter here...
We have to live in hotel with no address...
Only good thing we didn't see any bugs. We knew it wouldn't be a palace but didn't expect it to be so run down and awful.
Hair in the tub, toilet seat was broken, door handle was broken so we had to body spam the door to get in. Empty condom wrapper on stairs, moldy and holes in walls. Desk clerk took 20 mins just to check us in. Not even worth the bare minimum price they charge.
-Cheap -Staff was respectful
-Dirty building -Broken road pavements -Non-working AC (had to switch rooms) -Toilets that were clogged, and flushing was a problem -Huge Calcium deposits in bath tub that was so gross to look at -Internet so slow to the extent of non usable. I could not use their internet even when I tried both options they had "Budget 2", and "Budget 3" - You had to pay a $5 refundable fee to use the TV remote -No microwave in my room, the microwave in the previous room I was in, did not work anyway because it had a broken door part. -Rooms were just fairly clean. You could tell that they had not done a proper cleaning detail. You could see some crumbs here and there from previous visitors -Overall, I will not go back here, even it is for free.
It was ok. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay there on vacation or anything. just something quick for a night to just chill & not wanna spend a lot of money.
The staff was hella rude!! the room was ok, a tad ratchet but no bugs or anything.
No vending machines, no legitimate towels for drying, I had to use a towel that was marked "hospital". When I left the next morning, nobody was there at the front desk to take my key. Not a very good experience at all.
Nothing. Will never stay in budget inn
It was like a slum place
Drug dealers everywhere
The staff was rude The bed had baby roaches and a dead roach on it The bathroom smelled like piss The blankets and overall room was dirty
The price but it still wasn't worth it
Good for a place to get some sleep at and then leave
Cheerful, bright colors always help. I noticed my refrigerator freezer was packed with ice and old frozen candy bars that indicated no one cleaned it preventive maintenance had not been performed nor was monthly maintenance. The daily maintenance was viewed and was sufficient. Services were non-existent. I could tell that the entire place needed several upgrades. New colorful, bright blankets and clean white towels would brighten up the place a bit. Overall, I was able to sleep well and it was clean and safe. I had no disturbances during my stay.
Freezer was packed with ice and old candy bars were in there also.
Long term residents. The carpet was oily. The bathroom door didn't shut. The smell I can not begin to describe. The pool is a fenced off area full of mattresses. Prostitutes were everywhere, security is provided by the Charlotte Mecklenburg police. The AC did not work and was sitting on the floor. Everything was busted, cracked, stained and broken. The lighting is all fluorescent tubing that will make you nauseous. Bullet holes and graffiti everywhere. I had to create a facebook status before leaving my room just in case someone killed me at least my family knew where to start looking. Words of advice don't Ever Ever Ever stay here.
Bad area, outdated facilities, not clean, poor a/c, booked for 3 nights checked out after one night. People knocking on door, calls to room by strangers. Nothing good to say about this hotel.
We got grungy white towels , the first room we was in had holes in the sheets, the bathroom was just horrible it looked dirty , the toilet in the second room had trouble flushing , had difficulty closing the door using the bolt lock to keep it closed was a must, when we asked for a new rooms dispite making a reservation for a king size bed we was told there wasn't anything open but she wanted to charge us more to change rooms -_- even though she had a room with a king sized bed available . I've stayed in atleast three other hotels in this price range that where more comfortable to stay in ,the budget inn was defiantly not worth what I paid for . Yes it cheap but so are a lot of other hotels in Charlotte that offer better quality .
It was available.
They want to much money for the accommodations or lack thereof. I ended staying there about 2 weeks because of price, but I tell it was not a good time. The light over the sink worked when it wanted to... The day I was checking out someone came to fix it. Wow
Room stinch hole in the wall
I didn't feel comfortable in this hotel. It was very dirty and the promised wifi didn't work at all. I wanted to change right a way, when I came to the room.
The size of the bed is very big for the amount the room was let for.
The room smells bad. In fact i had to buy an air refresher to even breath comfortably. Sheets are old and look like they have not been changed after the last customer used the room. The tiolet flusher doesnot even work well.
It was cheap.
Quite shady, I did not feel safe. The lock didn't work properly, cigarette stains on the sheets, not so clean.
I like that it is budget friendly and the shower had great water pressure.
I didn't like all the late night noise and there were cigarette burns on the sink and bathtub and this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The smell of smoke was heavy.
the rooms are dark and poorly maintained, which you could expect for the price. the sheets were dirty, which you shouldn't expect at any price. spend 10 more dollars and go some place else
