The city is charming! I went in December and I regret not being there to see the Christmas parade. No.
Although the city is very small, there are a multitude of very good restaurants and bars. It's even difficult to choose, in a stay as short as ours.
I fell in love with Corning!
It is a very charming city and a must-see!

The corning Museum was everything I hoped for with technical, historical information and stunning beauty and pieces.
We spent from 9am till 5 pm walking around, viewing demos and never felt tired for a moment.
The restrooms are clean the variety of food in the cafe was great
and we also got to make our own glass flowers.
A wonderful experience
We also spent some time at the Rockwell Museum on the second day (not the Norma Rockwell :)) and that too was educational and impressive
The district around the hotel looks amazing but it was very cold so maybe not the best season for walking around

We both loved Corning immensely and hope to return next summer or fall. What a beautiful little town that has 2 wonderful museums. The personal and gift shopping in both was fabulous. I can't wait to return to see more demos at the Corning Museum of Glass as well as take another couple of glass classes.
And, of course, have more time to see the exhibits and learn even more.
We ate at the Corning Museum of Glass Cafe for a huge bowl of noodle soup for our 1st lunch, the Three Birds Restaurant for a wonderful selection and preparation of dinner items, and the 7 Elephants Thai Restaurant for a great, classy lunch meal. All superb!

I love the peacefulness of Corning.
I love the peacefulness of Corning. The safe feeling to walk around. We went to the movies at the Palace for the first time, and it was so quaint and so nice and enjoyable. I have recommended the Corning area to all of my friends over the years and this was my sixth trip there with grand children or friends. It will not be my last. I will be going back next month.

I absolutely love the town of Corning!!
I absolutely love the town of Corning!! It's so clean and a very friendly town with it. I also love the atmosphere of Corning especially in the nicer weather months, it's very relaxing here. They got some very unique shops in the downtown Corning area that are great as well with great places to eat some great food as well, all right on the same street of Market Street. For food I highly recommend either Sorges if your looking for some totally awesome Italian food or Mooney s for their mac and cheese or all other kinds of good old hand held foods such as burgers and sandwiches. Their draw though is their mac and cheeses. They got ALL KINDS of mac and cheese and if it says huge portion on their menu, believe me it's huge. 😁

The glass museum is well done....informational, entertaining and aesthetically pleasing. Our group
[Aged 7 to 72] got physically tired before we tired of the place.
Only a few blocks away, Market St has MANY choices for dining.
This hotel was wonderful! The staff was friendly and the hotel was so clean. Had planned on going out to breakfast, but the included breakfast looked so good that we decided to try it and everything was delicious. So many things to do in the area. Our favorite was Hands on Glass. Definitely worth checking out. The owner is so friendly and we each we able to make a glass piece to bring home with us. Perfect weekend getaway!
Excellent location right next to the Corning Museum of Glass. Very easy walk several times a day across the pedestrian bridge to Market street which has lots of great restaurants and shops. Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We also had a beautiful view of the river in our large, spacious room. We were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room.
The gentleman at the reception had all kinds of recommendations. Corning was a last minute booking on a long road trip that we knew nothing about. Next morning we spent 6+ hours in town based on the advice of the night clerk and had an absolutely amazing time. Corning went from a place we had never heard of to a place we recommend people to visit because of him
We love staying here! The staff are great, and accommodating. The rooms are clean and fresh. The beds are very comfortable.
We love the well stocked kitchen. A bonus is the vending area - very well stocked.
Great breakfast also!!
Another bonus is the Iron Flamingo Brewery in the back, within steps of the hotel!! Great brewery!!
The hotel was just a short distance from Corning glass museum. The check in/out staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, good sized bathroom, and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a fridge in the room which was useful and the hotel was very quiet.
Great location, a few minutes walk from the Corning Museum of Glass, and about 15 minutes walk to the center of town and Market Street. Free parking. We were given the choice of mountain or river view, we chose the river which was quite nice.
This was an amazing stay. Thanks so much to the host Robert. We will definatly be returning. A lovely apartment where we could chill on the patio area. Corning is amazing. Robert was so helpful and friendly. Thank you again, Leigh and Julie
As soon as we walked in, the hotel staff greeted us with a smile. Asked us what brought us to NY. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Christian was the night clerk he was whom we had most interaction with very pleasant.
Lovely old bed and breakfast walking distance to the Corning Museum of Glass and downtown Corning. Suzanne, the inkeeper, is worth the trip alone. Get her talking. She has so many stories. Extravagant breakfast.
Very clean, bed was comfortable. Had dinner at the restaurant at hotel. Food and service was excellent.
Only criticism, we could hear the band in the bar in our room on the 3rd floor.
The band was good just loud.
Robert was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. On-site parking was a great feature. Accommodation was close to Corning Museum and restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend.
In the post Pandemic world where there is a staff shortage across the country, this hotel's staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Cheers
Room spacious, clean and nice. Central temp control. Kitchen well equipped but we did not cook. Got everything you need. Close to Corning museum and highways.
