The building is poorly maintained, and the staff is not very professional. The office is not opened in the morning, and when they showed up they were in their pajamas.
Room was horrible. Twenty min. after we got there they shut off the water, they said for "...only half hour, no problem." We left.
You get what you pay for. In Marin is a good deal. Bed was comfortable, we slept fain.
The bathroom was little too "old", just paint the door and change the sink would help a lot.
Price was affordable and centrally located everything we needed.I am from Mill Valley. Lived here for 40 years. Nice place live but very pricey to live here today..I'm living in Central Coast. It's a wonderful & beautiful place here....reminds me of Mill Valley..
Nothing to be honest.. from: Ruth & Jerry, TEMPLETON,CA San Luis Obispo County....
toilet not so good
Decent location, near 101 FWY and shops. 25 min away from Golden Gate Bridge.
Property appeared to be in need of repair and renovation. Linens & towels were not clean.
This motel should be removed from your listings. It is horrible!
the bed was comfy
bathroom was poorly laid out, the whole unit needed professional help, paint, flooring, woodwork, windows, the dresser was a joke only 2 clothes hangers and no closet area I would be ashamed to rent this and it was over priced even at a Priceline deal
Quietness and location
While the outside looked a bit run down (which raised immediate concerns) the rooms in itself were clean.
The motel I believe had some long-term tenants which looked a little 'shady' but they did not cause any trouble
This is, by far, the worst place I or my family has ever stayed at! This place needs to be condemned. Complete false advertisement! Bookings.com should eliminate their relationship with place. If they charged a dollar, it would be too much! I wish I wasn't stuck. We had no choice, but to stay the night...Horrible!
I got eaten alive by bed bugs! (over 50 bites) It is incredibly painful with constant itching. Didn't know for sure (thought it might be spiders since one of the wide open windows had no screen) until I got home and found one. UGH!! This has cost us a lot because we threw out things, had to wash everything. In addition, the place is incredibly run down, dirty, and has questionable people hanging around. What a shock in the heart of Marin. I feel I cannot rely on your site to book other hotel stays since you had this place listed. Please, for the safety of others, take this place off of your list.
The staff were really nice. It's a family and even while dealing with a rude customer, they were polite and courteous.
It said that we would have AC... it never worked. Our room was hotter than outside. The room really needs renovation. The toilet leaked on the floor - thankfully I never stopped in it. The ceiling lights were semi broken and painted to conceal what needed work but it made it worse.
Price was excellent. All the basics were provided
Had to walk upstairs. Outside didn't look too impressive, but owner worked hard to provide whatever was needed.
The couple running the facilities were very nice, business like and responded positively to our few requests.
No air, unfinished plywood floors, no double locks, unsafe, had to have window open to cool the inside, but kept one window locked because we were worried about possible robbery. In 29 years of marriage, this is the worst facility that I had ever taken my wife!
in a great place for the larkspur ferry to San Francisco
The place is shabby - I would not stay here again - it was far too expensive, no coffee making facility, no breakfast, and full of undesirables. I only stayed here as I booked it on-line and was committed to pay - Had I drove up personally, I would not have even considered it
Easy to find location just off main road from Golden gate travelling north. A good position for a stop over after arriving late at SF airport en route to Northern California.
Very poor room. Broken furniture and entrance door, which opened on to the car park, would not lock. All in all a very basic set up, its location being the only thing in its favour.
This motel is absolutely horrible; the rooms are not proper, the blankets not washed, flees creep around, poor service, an absolute no go. Ein verwahrlostes, schmutziges Nest.... ungewaschene Leintücher, Flöhe, Chaos, ungepflegt, schrecklich!
Nothing! The bed was clean and so was the bathroom.
This was the worst motel for me since the 1950s. You should not accept their listing with you. It is a fire trap as well. Raw plywood flooring on the deck leading to most of the rooms! Under each room is a garage - those I saw were filled with junk.
Location very good.
Very poor standard for the money. The worst motel in our 3 week stay in California, but not the cheapest. Old and dirty paintwork in room. Discoloured shower area. Only suitable for one night if desperate for accomodation.
Everything, but mostly the smell
