Clean room, comfortable bed. Good value for the money. No coffeemaker in the room. No information in the room (tourist info, computer access, etc). Room was very spartan, there was no pictures on the wall or other homey touches. If you're going to arrive late and leave early, it's a good room. If you want to get away for the weekend and have a vacation experience, pick a different hotel.

Convenience of location for us. Microwave and larger fridge than we have seen before. Wife didn't sleep well. No one was in the room above, yet it "cracked" (sounded like a bullwhip) frequently. I suspect it was because our room had been cold, then we heated it, and it was cold outside, so probably the expansion of the wood or metal. Some dog had done his duty along side where we had parked in the parking lot in front of our room.

Price. The beds were squeeky and uncomfortable. The room was dingy. The "breakfast" was nonexistant. The coffee was cold and the toasters did not have power. There was nothing edible. There was no one at the office to tell that we were looking for some kind of breakfast.

The facility has new ownership since our last stay - the new proprietors are very friendly and helpful. There have been a few improvements - the shower was excellent, and we appreciated the on-demand hot water. Also enjoyed that they had a complimentary continental breakfast on site. While it is better than the last time we stayed, it's still an aging motel and could really use some updating. As is the case with most lower priced motels, the beds were very uncomfortable. The addition of a ten dollar foam topper would make a world of difference. Hopefully as time goes on the new owners will continue to make improvements.

Location was excellent for those wishing to tour the Old Montana State Prison or Automobile Museums. Very spartan accommodations. Only one bath towel in room. No microwave, no in-room coffee, no refrigerator.

The staff was quick to help. It was quiet. The continental breakfast was three different opened bags of bread and a toaster. No coffee. Shockingly disappointing. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The manager was unconcerned after check in.

We paid around £35 for our nights stay. We had a supermarket one side of us and a restaurant the other side. We were right opposite the old state prison. It was very easy to find. Staff were nice. For the price we liked every thing.

Walking distance to old Montana Prison which has self-guided tours and an incredible old car museum plus other museums, small frontier town and gift/antique shops galore. Walking distance to downtown and excellent restaurant next door. Great small Montana town experience.

It was affordable for a quick stop over. Not very clean. Under the beds had not been vaccumed in a long time, carpet really need to be replaced, there are awful stains, and the room smells of stale/old cigarette smoke.

Best price in the little town of Deer Lodge, but you get what you pay for. The continental breakfast is below any kind of standards. There is a restaurant next door and another one at the other end of town.

We liked the location of the hotel We did not really like anything about the hotel except the location and the price. The staff were not very friendly (probably because we had to call and wake them up at 2 am to check in). The room was fairly clean, however the bathroom floor still had hair and gunk from the last guests. The toilet paper on our toilet paper holder had been wet at one point and instead of being thrown out, it was put back on the toilet paper holder. Our keys to get in our room were deactivated before we checked out... It was a good thing one of us stayed in the room, or we would have been locked out (we did not check out late). We went to the office to check out and there was no one there, so we just left our keys on the desk... Good price, but we would rather pay the extra and stay at a different hotel next time...
