Multiple hidden extras like $10 a day to store each item of luggage, $10 per hour for late checkout. Aggressive difficult staff who forced me to walk around town for a hour trying for call my own Supershuttle (failed and lost all my coins) because they would only call a taxi - made me late for my pre-paid Universal Studios visit - eventually forced me to enter personal financial details onto their ipad to book a shuttle over the internet. Awful experience that ruined my stay as they tried to get me to take my bags and get lost rather than arrange reasonable transport, and did it in a raised voice as if their guests were an annoyance to shout at. Room doors effectively open into the street (doesn't feel safe), no toast or tea making, bathroom cramped and the floor is dirty, pigeons landing on the air-conditioner sound like people attempting window entry from the alley. Other guests making late night noise. Some of the owners struggle with speaking / understanding English.
Near Chinese Theatre and subway. Air conditioning and free wifi (though slow) and microwave and fridge. Reasonable sized room and soap/shampoo provided.
everything! The place is falling apart, it is very dirty , I was bitten by fleas all nigh. The internet does not work and only allow you to connect a device to more than one charge they charge 5 $ . In booking.com they say no deposit charge, but charged me,yes! the view from my window was full of garbage. The dirtiest hotel you 've been before. No english here. Run away!!!!!
the location is awesome, but just it! If you don't have money prepair yourself
The staff was very rude and semmed that they were angry all the time, the hotel is old and very ugly. I'll recommned avoiding this place
The shower was funky. The water pressure was good, but the valve was broken and it never got above a chilly lukewarm. The area was iffy.
The room was clean, the bed was great, the fridge was cold and did not make any noise at night. Parking was fairly secure.
The comforter was old with holes in it and found cockroaches in the room. Rooms and bathrooms were really small. No closet, no microwave, no breakfast, no coffee, fridge never got cold I can go on and on....
The only thing good was the water pressure of the shower in the really small bathroom
The one window in the room was not secure, was being held in place by a hunk of wood. It did not feel safe. Most members of staff spoke only broken english. The bathroom is horrific. The drain has a disgusting odour, when you sit on the toilet, your knees are touching the wall and door. The water pressure in the shower is a joke. The pictures online are very deceiving. We arrived 4 hours prior to the check in time and they tried to charge us $10 for each bag to be held at the "reception". There was a tv from circa 1991 that did not have a remote and did not turn on.
The beds were good. The location is good but there are several other options on the same block
Bed was clean, but for a advertised motel with you it was dirty ! I wanted to cancel my second day but was told I'd be charged. Room was very small !
We were checjed in a room with a slow draining hand sink and a toilet that was running the whole time. The room was serviced, and the toilet was still running.
Location was PRIME!
The property is located on a rather busy street. A lot of noise from pedestrians and cars.
The location is good. Within walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, shopping, and restaurants.
Prize too expansive it doesn't deservet . Also, the WIFI so poor.
I liked the location but at the same time I didn't feel safe.
The cleanest is not good
I like the location is near to Hollywood
The staff is horrible, the breakfast in in another hotel and there's no table or chairs and the wi fi is just for ONE DEVICE!!! the first that connects, have the wifi. I stayed in other cheap hotels with my friends, but this one doesn't worth it.
Old furniture, wifi only for one device (triply room), next wifi password costs5$. However, we gave two passwords for free. We saw cockroaches.
Very good breakfast to the next hotel. Excellent location near Walk of Fame. Very big parking.
I had the rudest experience ever.to whereni had to call booking.com to complain and was told they would contact the hotel and get back to me and no response
everything,, the ,,,"free brekfast was only milk and cookies and they send you to a different hotel to get them ,,rude bad ,,old ,, the hotel was good for 15 o 19 dlls no more...
- AC didn't work (nearly 100 degrees in the room). After complains, nothing was done, no discount given, no interest from the staff - The room was dirty - dirt on walls, dirt on curtains, broken blinds, broken smoke detector, dirty and broken furniture, very used refrigerator - The staff takes a photo-copy of my passport and my credit card. Upon check-out they didn't want to give me back or discard the copy of the card so I called police who didn't do anything against it. - I didn't expect much for the price but this was totally out of reality. Never more.
Just the location was fair - 5 minutes from the Hollywood boulevard.
may i say what did i like about this unsanitary place with no tv because was broken and when i complain was told we give refund to you ,of course it was 2 am .a friend dropped me off and ihad no where to go plus a was worn out ( this place is no good)
getting out of this place asap and living in a dog house
The room looked like a room, not a hotel room. Fridge didnt work. Phone didnt work (no dial tone) Paid for wifi and ice.
Not a single thing
TV is terrible. Rooms could be cleaner
Location is great
The front desk man could not speak English and he could not understand me. I paid for two rooms and in one of the rooms my daughter found syringes in the freezer. This is un except able! He would do nothing about it and would not compensate me in any way. Also, there was blood on the wall in the bathroom and make up on the towels. The room was not clean. Still... He would not compensate me. I will NEVER stay there again. He was rude, un caring, and not helpful at all.
It seemed very unclear we paid and went somewhere else.
We arrived at this hotel and were horrified by the mess and dirt in the reception area! The man behind reception didnt have a clue what he was doing.our room was revolting, the carpets were filthy, the curtains were half fallen down, the cabinets were covered with thick red sticky stuff and the bathroom was covered in hairs and the bins wernt emptied. When i had a shower i grabbed a towel and there was a thick black clump of hair in it. Down stairs there is a whole indian family of about 10 people livingin one room its vile. My partner was so disgusted he was scared to even take a shower! The beds were rock solid too. I could understand if it was cheap but it definetly wasnt well priced!
everything was bad, everything. that hotel honestly should be shut down for how dirty it is.
honestly I'm not one to write bad reviews but this hotel was extremely dirty there was nothing good about it the bed was bad it was dirty looked like it had not been cleaned. honestly I'm happy I brought my own blanks because I would not have been comfortable to sleep in their sheets.
People who worked there, wasn't Serios, and the wifi wasn't working good either.
Cleaning was nice, the bed was comfy
