It was totally worth the money you pay for it! It's cool if you're riding solo as well
1 bathroom. But hey:)
the location & the friedly front desk
over night disturbance TV or video from neighbour rooms.(probably hot videos) unbearable & disturbing the whole night sleep & spoilled my trip
Nothing is to be liked about the premises
The management and staff are rude, and unhelpful. The property has old carpet, stained, smelly hallways, rooms are dirty, filled with bugs, and flies, they never got dusted, old furniture, and it seems mices are part of the package when u book a room at this property, woohoo enjoy ur stay!!! yeh right….
This hostel is probably the worst place I have ever been too. Very dodgy area with loads of homeless and drogadicts around. I think there were actually some of them staying in the hotel with dogs barking during the night. Very noisy during the night, listening to people talking in other rooms. I found cocroaches coming down the door of my room and the courtains. Went to have shower and found a wet pizza carton on the shower floor. I experienced two fights or arguments in which the recepcionist had to act. The place is right outside the bart station civic center and the recepcionist didnt even know when the barts starts running in the morning...
named the Budget Inn I expected a room with a toilet and shower
Nice farmers market in front of the hotel in the morning Good transport links
Smells funny Place is very run down No breakfast WiFi doesn't work in the rooms
Not much to like.
Everything. Paper thin walls, you can hear everyone.
I liked that they had a small sink in the room.
Don't even want to remember about the bad conditions of the restrooms. Besides that, it was very good.
Bedbugs Homeless people Shared bathroom Noisy Very Uncomfortable bed Paid for a queen but was given a full
I just like the location.
The hotel smells. The room has a little window with no posibility to be open, so there is no air ventilation, just when you open the door. Restrooms and showers are dirty. Public areas means a small room with a table and 5 chais, so its always full without any posibility to get a place to use wifi.
.. and since it's SF not that cheap, but the cheapest place around.
- smelled like cigarrettes. - scary guy wearing S&M across the hall opening door late at night (weird). - dirty and gross and the worst: possible bedbugs. I have a huge nasty bite on my leg. i think it came from this hotel.
Bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful.
Location was good but beware they are homeless people in the area
Fine if you're only going to be there for 5 hours like I was.
Walls covered with blood..sheets and bedding we're staimd..infested with bedbugs. Got bit all over...bathroom and shower were disgusting
It has a good location and staff were helpful with directions to bus station and local imenities and storing laugage. Some reviews talked about the area being dodgy but San Fran has a lot of homeless people in general and location of this place is only 5 minutes away from the major shops. Has good wi fi available in common area. Laundry room and showers are adequate. Room was freshly painted and similar size to what you would find in a hostel in Hong Kong. My overall experience here was very good.
It's is very budget and walls are quite thin. People walking dogs in the corridor.
Likes about this property include the location of it in relation to the city, the value for your money and the fact there is almost always a room available and if you make a reservation the day of or day before it can save you ten to twenty dollars a night compared to the rate they give a walk-in person.
I didn't like the staff of this property all too well as they only cared about money and not about customer service, I didn't like having a television in a room but it not working, not having a television at all or the homeless people that congregate outside the property.
No TV, no wifi in room, bathroom facilities very dirty, everything very old, noxious smell, some noise.
warm room clean linen
Location, the smell the "halfway house feel" felt i needed to clinch my purse the entire time
It was ok
Very cheap. Central location.
Smelly, dirty and badly maintained, in a crummy area, but you pays your money...
Close to public transport
The bathroom The bed The noise
The place was near union square
It was in a good central location everything was only a walk away. Staff was very polite and helpful to a visitor. Had an excellent time in the city
They are in process of doing upgrades and need them badly however my room was very clean but no amenities. Bathrooms need a makeover. Need a television in room. All in all the room did not negatively impact my trip.
The price and public transportation right outside
Sharing a bathroom with the entire building and the mattress was too old and the tv didn't work
