We had flown into Seattle from New Mexico, California and Spokane. Stayed with friends for 2 nights then road tripped to Walla Walla for a surprise 30 wedding celebration. The two rooms next to each other was perfect! We all were tired. It was a happy surprise to walk into a beautiful clean and welcoming room!
The only thing that was a little off, was the door key gave us a fight ;(
The bed was comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent and within easy walking distance to the town. The hotel grounds looks well maintained.
The AC vent would not stay on whatsoever no matter how cold you turned it, or even a consistent fan. I have trouble sleeping in dead silence, so I had to sleep with the bathroom fan on! haha.
Good location for downtown area. Freshly painted in festive colors. Easy to get in and out of parking lot. Nice flatscreen TV on the wall. The building we stayed in seemed new.
The front building doesn't look nearly as nice as the back building. Not much food choice for breakfast. Very cramped bathroom/shower. Strange mural painted on one wall.
Room needs attention. Paint and sheetrock around shower disinagrating.
New bars and wineries. Restaurants
What's not to like
Bed was comfortable.
Very poor breakfast; room was not clean. Ice machine empty at 8 am.
The beds were excellent in that they were very firm and comfortable and was able to get a great nights sleep. The room we stayed in was clean and the TV was enjoyable and simple to operate.
The vent fan was not working in the bathroom and had to ask twice to have it fixed. The second night parking was filled up and could not fine a parking place for our van. Eventually later in the evening a place became available and we moved our van, from being parked out on the street, into it.
We booked here because the Red Lion where we had a reservation was so BAD! This hotel was nothing fancy but it was clean and right next door to a good Mexican restaurant.
Friendly and helpful owner/manager.
The price, comfortable rooms, definitely the location, swimming pool.
clean and nice size room.
a little squeaky mattress (not bed frame). we were not told breakfast time, so missed it.
Friendly, courteous, helpful staff. Large, comfortable rooms.
Good location. Very good room.
Very poor continental breakfast.
The location was good and it was cheap.
It's definitely what you pay for. The rooms were a bit musty. Just don't expect a lot if you stay here.
People were loud in parking lot early in the morning. Lots of adults and children were very inconsiderate of other guests.
Location was decent - quiet street to walk, easy access to main roads, but quiet. I liked being put in the new section.
The room cleaning staff need to be more thorough in cleaning after guests leave. Found a dirty sock, water bottle, several unknown white chunks and various other "large" chunks on the carpet. Other than that was a good stay - nice room. The "continental" breakfast was disappointing, no protein, no cereal, several bread items and a toaster and coffee. Not an add to the value.
the bed was very comfortable and the location is excellent. Great value for money.
The wifi was down the first day i arrived.
i like all good service is a good place
The room itself was fine. I don't expect too much from this type of hotel/motel, and it met my expectations...for the most part. The room seemed clean and it served the needed purpose.
I expect that when something is advertised online, it should be "as advertised". That said, there was no continental breakfast (apparently, based on the hand written sign on the check-in counter, it is seasonal...or only when they have enough rooms filled). The wi-fi was non-existent. I had read in other reviews that people had had problems with that. The owner/manager told them it must be their electronics. I've never had that problem with mine, so apparently, that is a "seasonal" item also so, don't expect it to work if you're not there during a busy time for them. Last but not least....no working ice machines. Apparently unplugged to conserve energy and save a buck...at the customers expense. I was able to get ice from the manager, but it would have been nice to know before I wandered all over finding the ice machines, only to find none of them worked.
Great downtown location, very comfy beds, good shower!
Price was better than some but still not as good as others in a similar category.
Pillows: please be a hotel which recognizes that women need slimmer pillows than men. The huge, fat pillows at this hotel have given both of us neck trouble, headaches and discomfort. The nicer hotels like Hilton, Hampton and Holiday have figured out that men and women have a different space to fill under their heads. Men like fat pillows, women do not. It appears that for hotels where men do the buying, it hurts us women. Please learn from the nice hotels which have figured this out. They now have two pillows (soft and firm). And the soft pillow needs to be much much flat-er --not just a little but a lot flat-er! ALSO, what good is a quick continental breakfast if is it NOT ready when I am up and ready for it. NO coffee or breakfast ready at 6:30 or 6 AM is unthinkable. We had to go find a place buy coffee from and this is NOT that early in the hotel business to need coffee. This is your business, if your staff do not want to be up this early, they need to find another job!
Good location, easy to find. Rooms were clean and quiet but very basic.
Older property, very basic rooms, nothing fancy. Front desk person was difficult to understand & difficult to make myself understood.
