The owner was very accommodating and helpful and he bathroom had a tub which was nice to soak in.
Owner was rude and nasty
There was plenty of hot water.
The proprietor was unfriendly and rude. He asked us to leave early twice before checkout time (which is 11), first sound 9:30, then around 10:30. We had the do not disturb sign on the door because we drove several hours and arrived late the night before and would be continuing on a long drive. He insisted that housekeeping was leaving, a patent lie. Then he said that we had to leave because there is no late checkout. When we angrily pointed out that checkout time is 11 as posted on the sign in the office, he meekly agreed. The room was dingy. The furnishings were of low quality. The bathroom was dirty: there was hair on the sink counter and beard shavings in the sink, and dust everywhere. I think I got flea bites stating there (it's a pet friendly motel). It wasn't worth $46.
Excellent price including even the pet fee Very clean Basic clean and comfortable place to sleep with TV and Wi-Fi close to the freeway.
Ice machine was broken
Accomodating our dogs.
Close to places to eat, near the freeway, quiet and clean
The room was very clean and the hotel was easy to find. We will stay again on our next trip through Yreka
We were looking for a stop over on the way home and for a one night stay it was fine. A typical one story motel.
I have never stayed in a more dirty place. There were cigarette burns in the comforter and stains on the carpet. Our room had hair in the bathroom. There was also no lock on the door from preventing people from breaking in.
Great price. The room was dated but clean and what I would expect from your average cheap hotel. While traveling from wa to souther Cali, this was a great stop for the first short day of travel. Cheaper than anything in Medford or Ashland and that's what I was looking for. A cheap place to lay our heads. Beds are pretty hard like every other hotel I have ever been but not surprising. Location was easy on off the freeway and quiet. Would recommend if your not looking for frills and a cheap place to sleep for the night.
Too far to walk to places to eat. This was in the older part of town; all but one palce was closed. The southern end was where the restaurants were open. A couple of miles away.
Nice people running place
Room was old and tired.. Carpet from the 70's.. Curtains with holes..
Clean, simple, single level, parking in front of room, small. Noisy staff reported and noise DID STOP! I would try this place once more, I would give the staff the benefit of the doubt for their actions.
NO hangers in room, outside door had NO seal (could see light all around door), Cleaning staff loud in next room being clean with NO regard for paying customers.
Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Clean and spacious bathroom.
Access to I-5, cleanliness and price.
Hard to regulate hot water in shower.
We only spent one night, the staff was helpful and very courteous. It is an older building and somewhat rundown, but all was clean. Like that all rooms are ground level so no stairs to deal with.
The wifi kind of came and went, annoying but not a deal breaker.
beds from the 70,s bouncy and horrible, bathroom from the 60,s
The price can't be beat, room was nice and clean and quite comfy.
A bit dated, but new owners are sprucing it up. Clearly, Yreka has been hit hard by the economy.
Everything was good!.. I have no complains.
It felt comfortable and the staff/owners were very nice and friendly. Would stay again if in that area.
Cheap. close to freeway.
had to pay $6 for a kid over 9? Seems stupid to pay extra for another kid. Room already had 2 beds, didn't get any value for the extra $6. Loud, neighbors tried opening internal door at 1:00 am.
Not a 3 star hotel
The fact that it said on the web site 3 star
close to the area i needed
little 50's style
People at check in desk where very nice .
Very old place . Could hear people in other room ! Hard to sleep because of the noise in room next to us .
Located within walking distance if the historic downtown area. Also within walking distance of several restaurants. Other restaurants were a quick drive. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and well kept.
The wi-fi was spotty at best. Not a big deal if your are able to look up and enjoy your surroundings.
