The price was very reasonable.

The Motel is extremely tired - almost shabby. The room we had was adequate, but interior chairs were stained and the lack of photos of the exterior of the property I found to be very misleading - in fact I was shocked when we arrived, and if the price had not been so reasonable we certainly would not have stayed.

Excellent value for the money. As long as it is clean, I can put up with aging motels with bad cosmetics and not so perfectly comfortable beds. The staff were very polite and did their best to make me happy. For example, the phone cord was broken and there was no heat because the gas heater had been turned off for the season. It was early fall and the night temperatures were going down to the high 30's. ...way too cold for no heat. I was given the option of letting them start the room's gas heater or taking a portable electric heater to my room. I took the electric heater which worked just fine. The phone cord was fixed the next day. Whenever any of the staff saw me, they always asked if everything was ok. Nice people.

When I made reservations, my confirmation email said I would be charged a specific amount. When I got there I was told that the charge was pay-when-you-stay and not pre-paid. The credit card machine was not working so I was asked to pay the next day. I forgot about it and was presented with a bill later for nine and a half dollars more than the confirmation commitment. When I signed for the charges, I was too tired to bring the issue up and wasn't perfectly sure of what the charge was actually supposed to be. It wasn't until I got home that I re-read the confirmation letter and realized that I had been overcharged. I'm not terribly upset that I was overcharged by a small amount, but I did find it annoying. Next time I stay somewhere, I will have my confirmation letter ready to compare to my actual charges.

While it's not a 4-star hotel, the location, people working there, and comfort of rooms was excellent for the price! It was centrally located and everything you would to to Lake Tahoe for was a quick walk away! I would definately stay there again :)

The rooms were nothing like the advertised on their website, but still covered the basics.

Simple, comfortable budget lodgings The room was right by my parking spot. The bed was comfortable and big. Best of all: the windows really opened!!! And Lord Ganesha was there, which was cool.

Great location and a reasonable price for what I was looking for (just a place to spend the night). Don't expect anything fancy.

They have free wi-fi, but it was so slow and unstable that we couldn't make any use of it.

I like the convenience of it being in the heart of town. It was quiet..very FRIENDLY!!

Unfortunately the hotel is starting to show wear and tare..

This hotel was highly overpriced for what I got. Two clean beds? Dirty bathroom. Dirty floor. Really disappointed.

Easy access, air conditioner works well, close to downtown

It was centrally located and was pretty comfortable.

First, the hostess overcharged us upon check-in. She did, however, refund the money upon leaving. The pool at this motel was empty, so the staff sent you to an adjoining pool which was so cold, it was impossible to swim. During our stay, two days we did not receive housekeeping, which was most disturbing. We were told housekeeping was to be done before noon; as a former housekeeper, this was ludicrous. Two male staff walked in on my daughter who had stayed in with a headache, even with the "do not disturb' sign on the door. As women, we were frightened by this and felt scared and suspicious staying there the rest of the time. All of this was most disturbing to an otherwise beautiful and restful holiday. We would like to have asked for a refund.

Our stay with Budget Inn in South Lake Tahoe was very comfotable and for the money (with the Celebrity Hole of Fame golf tournaments 7/20-22 at Edgewoods golf course) it was a good deal. It was quiet inside even though the site is by the main street. For budget-seeking couple, we will recommend this hotel anytime..The manager is very pleasant to deal with and very accomodating.

The room is small but still ok for both of us. I guessed if we want more room and more convenience we could have stayed at Harvey's/Harrahs but you have to pay more than double for your money.

The room as well as the hotel itself reminded me of a hotel in a scary movie where everyone dies. We checked in went to the room and within 30 minutes checked out and found another hotel.

we were very upset because we were not given the room we booked. they advertise falsely. it said two beds and we only got one. the refrigerator was not working and the pool was not filled

I didn't like anything about this place!

It was dirty, disgusting, poorly maintained, and poorly managed. Having switched rooms due to the filthiness and smell of the first; there was trash (wrappers, receipts, pop-corn kernels) in the first room and a used diaper in the second!!! The toilets in both weren't clean or the area around them, there was also trash under the beds and under the second was the used diaper! The showers in both had horrible pressure, coupled with mold and grime in both. The medicine cabinets in both were rusted to the point of uselessness and the cabinets throughout were dirty! The staff was incompetent, the floors were in desperate need of replacement carpet, and the headboards were dirty! Also, the pillows had stains and hairs that looked as though they had simply been turned over, and there were hairs on the blow-dryer in the first room! Yuck!!!

This is the second time i stayed here and i would stay here again.

it had a heated pool and the pool was very clean.

Price was good and we did not want to spend much on this trip.

Really dumpy. get what you pay for I guess. Shower creepy and no water pressure ..afraid if I put shampoo in my hair, I'd never get it rinsed out the pressure was so low. Lumpy bed.

The room was cute and very clean. There was tons of comforts. Like a coffee pot, blow drier,and iron/board. King size bed with extra pillows a big plus, free wi-fi. We loved it. Great deal for the $ we plan to stay again very soon

Heavy traffic on and off main road to the room.not enough good dinning near by.
