Bay Landing Hotel greets you with the Old World elegance of marble floors and meticulous woodwork in the hotel entryway.

With free Wi-Fi, this cozy European-style hotel is in North Beach within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. It combines old-world charm with modern amenities, such as free Wi-Fi.
Score from 360 reviews Very good
Nothing...this place should be razed to the ground. It is very old with nothing good to be said about it. It is like something left over from WW2.
Everything....we have visited hotels and motels across the USA and Europe for the past 8 weeks and this was the most disappointing of them all. It is really bad. Don't go there.
Near the airport, 24hour service, near a diner for breakfast
Noisy, dirty exterior, poor quality interior
I did not feel safe...
easy to find and reach , specially when you arrive late night. good bed actually.
next to the road, so it was noizy all night long. tv was not functioning. just a place to sleep your first nigt in SF
Good size room...big, actually. comfortable bed (king). Nice shower. Fridge and microwave, hair dryer and coffee maker all worked just fine. We didn't need any climate control, so don't know about that. Maid service was fine, but ends early so we missed a couple of days. lots of closet space. The carpet was cleaner than I would have expected. Generally quiet. Great location for the airport. Overall good value for the money. total of 700 including tax for 7 days. You arent going to find anything better than that in the Bay Area. Seems like a safe area. One night I accidentally left the key in the door outside and we did not get robbed or raped
It had a kind of industrial cheap motel smell to the room, which we were able to take care of by burning some sage each night. It was a non-smoking room but we didn't worry about the sage because the smoke detector seemed to be disabled...had wires detached and hanging out of it. concrete block walls and cheap furniture made it seem like a dorm room, but we weren't expecting any luxury. we had some ants show up on the bathroom sink area for a couple of days, but that might have been from making coffee in there and spilling some sugar. No ice available. would have preferred a less slippery bathtub but there are two good handrails in there. Overall seedy looking from the outside, but we never felt unsafe. we were only given one key.
Nice size. Many channels on the T.V.
Yucky looking. Thermostat was broken. Problem w/ TV remote control.
The room had a weird smell and the carpet was really old... There is not security at all because the rooms are between to roads.
Close to Airport Close to shopping centre close to subway Good WIFI Spacious Ample parking Very Clean and comfatable
Its a bit old and could do with a makeover but then it would be more expensive
Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was very simple but large and clean. Very handy for the airport.
It's on a huge main road. It doesn't look very appealing.
good equiped (microwafe, refrigerator etc.)
no wifi at all, bathtub is scratched, wery strange architecture of building (former storage, possibly.
no hot water; no friendly people; ants in the bed; when you complain they are screeming and threatening you to throw you out of the hotel.
This is an older building turned motel. Great location for shopping, eating out, catching the cal-train to the game, anything San Bruno. The room was very dated but clean and roomy. no other tenant noise.
Occasional planes flying overhead, and some street noise from El Camino. No vending machines or ice on premises but mini mart right next door. Buildings are very old. Definitely limited amenities on sight. Its not to be compared to a modern hotel but is quaint and 1/2 the cost.
Lack of airport shuttle bus
As they don't offer an airport shuttle, we ordered a taxi cab for the next morning...well, that cab never appeared and we walked to the airport.
It looked like an old run projects apt complex, creepy looking. It was gross... I do not recommend this place to anyone. . Not worth stay at even if it was $5.00.. horrible old ghetto place
Checking out of there.
The person that checked us in had horrible negative energy. The door lock on the inside looked like someone had kicked open the door previously. I didn't feel safe at all. $168 for one night in the ghetto was way too over priced for this place.
The room we stayed in was old and could do with some renovating and modernising but at least it was clean. The room was very big. Near the airport as taxi's to and from will cost around $12.
There was a second door leading to the street in our room. This door had a single small dead bolt on it and had a sofa pushed up against it. Although I'm sure it was secure it did make me a little uncomfortable. The main door to the room was extremely old and very thin. It also would not lock properly.
Location was great for a over night stay near the SFO Airport
Front parking was difficult and very close to the road
price bed and pillows were comfortable TV and refrigerator
quality of maintenance airport noise dirty carpeting
There was nothing to like, this place was a dump and over priced
Again, there was nothing to like, dump, dump, dump.....
The hotel is only 10 minutes walk to San Bruno Caltrain station which is within zone 1 to SF. The ticket for 30-minute commute to the city is only 3 dollars.
Noisy air conditioner. Poor quality TV. No wifi. Cheap toilet rolls.
The price was among the lowest in the area.
As is typical in the peninsula, the motel is located on El Camino Real, which is an ugly place in most of the cities in runs through. The nearest restaurant is a Chili's. The rooms are cheaply built, smell old, and do not appear to have been renovated in decades. The TV is a CRT.
location(close to caltrain and bart..buses.and airport) parking..shops..economical,,,..good.service..clean....
