I really liked the friendly staff and the old style furniture. I was there for the art show, etc., and loved the fact that the local crafts people were making the same sort of furniture that were a part of the hotel's decor.
I had a fairly warm, not hot shower and there was one morning when the hot water was rapidly running out. :(
Beds were comfortable.
Small lobby witch made it hard to get luggage to your room.
Good location close to downtown. Free Wifi. Decent sized rooms. Good value. Seemed clean
Hallway carpet upstairs didn't look clean. Might have been clean but it appears to be older and stained . The motel should supply shampoo. Breakfast was skimpy (coffee, juice bagel). There is no room for breakfast so not sure what the answer is - perhaps provide a bit more like fruit or yogurt that guests can take to their room.
The central location was great and the price was right.
I had issues with the bed and pillows. They were too hard for me, but every individual has different requirements. There was one night when we were wakened by men arguing and another time when a child was evidently jumping around upstairs. Otherwise, it was quiet.
Location near Sheridan Avenue. Walking distance to Buffalo Bill Historical Centre.
No hot water in shower when we stayed but feel confident that this was just a glitch.
Lobby Coffee and Bagel
The hotel was a bit dated but that was not the big issue for me. What got me was two employees arguing regarding another employee (that was not there) and her pregnancy around customers. So unprofessional. As this was happening a customer came in looking for list car keys and employees treating him as if they could care less and they were putting them out by having to help him.
The location was great, just around the corner from downtown and easy to get to other locations; enjoyed the treat of being able to watch local deer wonder through the neighborhood.
The narrow stairs to the upstairs room and the ice machine being downstairs. The bathroom barely had any room to move around in if you opted to close the door. The staff wasn't very friendly and that's what makes a place enjoyable. Might tell them it helps to smile ... smiles are nice.
The carpet was filthy. We felt very uncomfortable with concern of cleanliness in the entire motel as well as safety. The hall carpet was as dirty as I have ever encountered, the entire location inside and out needed to be cleaned.
This is grossly over rated & very expensive for an antiquated hotel. Room was on the second floor, no elevator. Very outdated facility and the decorating was straight out of the 70s! The only thing going for it was that it was clean but even then the maid left envelopes asking for tip money! So unprofessional - ridiculous!
helpful staff clean no problems
a bit pricey, but perhaps just because it is in Cody
Hallway carpeting had many stains. Room was supposed to be non- smoking but smelled like smoke. Several bugs on floor.
rooms were good
breakfast - few muffins and cold coffee had to be there early
rooms were large and clean. beds were very comfortable. front desk people were very friendly and helpful in finding a place for breakfast.
limited parking due to the Hells angels staying at the hotel. they were well behaved but were rebuilding motorcycles in the parking lot outside our room till 4 am
Convenient location, good price.
No comfortable place to sit in room. Terrible coffee.
front parking by the door. Little bite to eat in the morning.
General oldness. No updates to carpet or bedspreads...
Parking was difficult New staff member messed up the booking Looked dirty and unkept in the halls. Placement of breakfast was in a bad location by the front door.
Staff were friendly and helpful - made it possible to book room for two nights without changing room even though I didn't originally book two nights
clean room,good air conditioner,coffe maker, fridge .
the upgrade rate from queen size to king size was quite abit more. staff woke us up at 12:30 am for a toilet plunger we asked for because of toilet plugged.
friendly and helpful staff comfortable
Okay location. Starbucks down the street. Small lobby. No fridge in room.
Back alley a little interesting. But we felt safe.
Wifi, TV and I wasn't sleeping in an RV anymore! We had just come from camping :) We got in late and the gal at the front desk said, "We were getting worried about you!"
Location was just a little outside the main things in town, but it was certainly walking distance.
Very Clean, quiet, very nice.
Genuinely thought the staff where poor. Girl at night was pretty poor but the morning older lady was knock out pathetic. Elder cleaning lady hats off was excellent and friendly. Should be on front desk
easy to find.
air conditioning didn't work. No satisfaction from the front desk. Turned it off for an hour and turned it back on. It worked for a while. Turned it off for 5 min. and back on and then it worked properly.
