Great location, great value, decent prices in the restaurant, would definitely stay again
Location and confront
No free breakfast
How close it was to TD North!
the price! I know it's Boston but under 170 would have been better!
Quaint, comfortable. Desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating, along with the waitress during breakfast the next morning.
The bar staff was completely overwhelmed by the "crowd" after a recent concert at the Garden. Long waits for cocktails and change.
Management reacted with an upgrade and comp breakfast when room was "not ready" (1.5 hours) after check in time
Room not ready
Room's modern and tasteful decor Cleanliness
Let me think about.....
noise and sound insulation
I liked everything about this hotel except two very, very minor things, one of which I might be more keenly aware of just because I work in lighting. I've stayed in three separate hotels on three separate Boston trips and this is my favorite. The location is great, especially if you want quick access to TD Garden (and North Station) like I did. There is also a 24-hour Dunkin' Donuts nearby! This is a historic Flatiron-like building, but it's not old and crumbly at all. In fact, as someone who's interested in interior design, the design impressed me a lot. It's very crisp, fresh, rustic industrial with organic touches. This attention to detail carries over to the well-designed rooms. Definitely the most stylish room I've ever been in, that's for sure. The in-house restaurant had INCREDIBLY decent prices, considering the location in a high cost of living city and being a hotel restaurant. Room service was very quick. Though the description here says there isn't free wifi in the rooms, that's not true--my room had it. It was also a much faster connection than my last hotel's wifi, though it did have a habit of knocking me off a lot and demanding I repeat the password to get back online. Minor nitpick. The people here are awesome too. Friendly, helpful, affable, talked Bruins with me (I'm a big fan), just really good people.
The bathroom vanity lighting could've been a little brighter and I didn't have a lot of electrical outlets in my room, but actually that ended up not being as much of an issue as I thought. Also, if you're not a fan of pocket doors, be aware: the bathrooms use them so as to save space.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
It would have been nice to have bread for toast and a toaster for the croissants. Fruits and yogurt would be nice too. I stayed in way cheaper hotels where they have complimentary breakfast with higher quality. That is the reason why I will not go back to your hotel.
Contemporary rooms close to downtown. 5minute walk to quincy marketplace. Next to the garden!
Friendly staff who were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Location was fantastic, all within walking distance or a short subway ride from around the corner. Room was fabulous, I would definitely book a king room. Very comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast was fairly bland.
Overrated and well overpriced.Paid for upgraded room then found it was on ground floor with digger working outside the window, really noisy and the space between bed and wall very tight. Had to change rooms to a lesser quality room but were not offered any refund back on the lesser room. Not impressed John Anderson Banchory Scotland
Location good for the North End, Quincy Market and Long Shore. Friendly staff, non-corporate. Significantly cheaper than the very high Boston going rate. Industrial chic worked ok.
Elevator broke - no joke for floor 9. Room cramped if for more than 1 person. Food basic but not expensive.
Location Our room was more spacious than expected having read earlier reviews. We were not on the side where the roadworks were and we slept well.
Suitcases had to be stored either on floor or on shelving above head height.
Tiny room on the opposite side of the aisle where the ice machine is located, no night sleep due to other guests who were fetching their ice all night Long at this only ice machine, road constructions in front of the hotel, king size bed could be entered/exited from/to one side only so you always have to climb over one another, no support of the front desk staff, personnel ignores complaint, uncharitable and very late room service, staff wants to be hip by wearing red bow ties and uses their guests' forename only when talking to them whatever their age is, appears to be run by low professional people who have no sense for hospitality, not really worth the high Price, do regret this choice
The room was quite small, quite expensive (although booked on short notice).
Good breakfast Very good location for North Boston and Beacon Hill
Room comfy but not large
Everything was okay
For future purposes make sure that people are aware of the hidden taxes as this can increase costs substantially
Great location, excellent staff, very clean and modern.
Very small room with a tight squeezed in bed ... One person had to crawl over the other to get into bed as one side was about one foot from the window/wall.
Room a reasonable size. Quite modern. Bathroom. Really good size.
Decor of the hotel was nice. Rooms very small though. Staff not really up to the professional standard although pleasant enough.
Bar and restaurant mainly dead and when customers came in service was mediocre to slow. We had to find our waitress ourselves at one point as she disappeared for a number of minutes. Expensive for the quality as I was expecting a top class hotel. Good location if you are going to the Garden but a bit out of the way for everything else. 10 minute walk to Fanuil hall.
Staff was really friendly, the rooms are absolutely amazing, the food in the restaurant below was also of a high quality.
Loved the decor, bathroom, bed, linens/mattress, angular room layout (the tip of the flat iron), window treatments, location!
Didn't try the restaurant -- Boston has too many great options within walking distance!
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and room decoration
Room is rather small (we where with four), noisy fridge
