I payed $310 a night for a room advertised for 169/199 per night
The staff not helpful
The rooms were modern and really clean. I liked the hotel and the vibe was comfortable. It was nice that there was 2 great restaurants nearby.
We happened to be there during construction so the entrance and typical check-in/lounge area was not as comfortable, but I suspect it would have been fine if there wasn't construction.
The view of Fenway Park, the houndstooth decor, the close proximity to the train, the concierge, the Eastern Standard Restaurant, the comfortable bed and pillows.
Location, friendly and very helpful staff, great restaurants next doorand n hotel
Pillows too soft! Not very comfortable
Loved the staff! Very welcoming and helpful!
Location would be better in summer, right near Fenway
The staff were very helpful and professional. Even though they were renovating on the main floor they tried there best to help us.
Hotel style, location & staff
Main entrance over construction & breakfast expensive.
Reserved the last room Sunday before storm with two coworkers from hospital down the street. Best decision to sleep in comfortable bed, nice hot shower with robe, and not have to leave building to go to dinner. (Work arranged also for shuttle to and from hotel as well) Bets sleeping on stretcher at work and listening to work sounds all night long. Having two others to split cost made it reasonable as well. Will probably do the same if another blizzard happens.
Excellent staff great location
Slush /parking price
The bell service was outstanding. Steve was very attentive and friendly. Service like this would bring me back to this hotel.
Lobby construction and no advance notice.
They had those special extras..two luggage racks, makeup mirror, fluffy towels. Wonderful hotel!
The location to B.U., "T" stop and Fenway is excellent. The staff was very accommodating, the rooms are large with comfortable bed and bedding. The Eastern Standard located in the hotel has great food, wonderful service and fab bar.
Night manager when we arrived on 1/15 "ify" at best, but staffs excellent service made up for it
Location Size of room Large curtain to separate room
There was a construction just outside of my room window, also the lobby is Under construction.
Most everything was to our standard. We just have to remember to book well in advance during busy seasons.
We mostly use our cellphones, but the in-room phone refused to make outside calls, even locally. We reported twice.
Comfortable beds, excellent staff, really just a great luxurious experience. My favorite place to stay in Boston
Great, friendly, proactive staff; Fantastic location; Easy access by car, T, walking...
Everything. When I arrived, on a flight that had been delayed for eight hours, I was welcomed with an upgrade; every attempt was made to make me comfortable. Particular kudos to Sean at the front desk who was impeccably courteous and helpful.
excellent and welcoming staff, comfortable and stylish rooms, great restaurants, and location
small gym- it would be great to have a spa on site.
The shower was amazing. The room was great. I liked the digital tablet interface. Didn't understand it at first, thought it was just a clock. Used it as a menu for breakfast.
Lots of construction inside and out. I hope they're building a parking lot. Paid too much for slow valet parking. No coffee maker in room. Still nice room.
This is a great hotel with a great location -- near the subway for easy access to downtown, and a short walk from Boston University. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a little trouble with our air-conditioner being noisy, which was a pain, but the staff worked hard to resolve the issue the best they could.
We moved to this hotel after we had a reservation at the Holiday Inn which was just awful. This hotel was just amazing and cheaper!
Everybody around the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend!
Would be nice if more room service options were available 24 hours.
