The fitness room is tiny. Three is a crowd in there lol. On our last day there was a guest in the breakfast room causing a commotion, swearing and threatening to fight other guests. My husband got the front desk clerk and she removed him from the area. It was the only time in the whole trip that I felt uneasy with the location.
Orlando the Manager was excellent! We had made two non-refunable reservations in error and Orlando was kind enough to see the error and refund us for one of them. That started our trip off on the right track!! All of the other front desk personnel were helpful as well. I found that the rooms were very clean, the bed was one of the best I have slept in at a hotel. The shuttle to the subway was easy and the drivers were very friendly. The ride to the shuttle is 5 minutes and then it's about a 10 minute ride into the city, depending on whcih stop you are going to. The free breakfast was nice and more importantly tables were clean! Parking was not an issue. We had stayed at the sister hotel next door last year, the Ramada and it was definetly not as nice as this and it is around the same price. We will go back next time.
Location is not nice at all for walking. Very industrial.
The desk staff was so helpful. He gave us help with food and transportation that was not offered when we stayed at other Boston locations. I wish we had met him on our first night in Boston. Really great and proactive at getting to know us and offering suggestions.
sometimes the shuttle was late
nice staff and good breakfast
Never managed to get anyone to answer the phone to arrange shuttle back from the convention centre.
The breakfast and free shuttle bus to the convention centre
The commuter train rushing by
Free breakfast was disgusting. Only after we arrived were we told by locals Dorchesters a pretty bad area. Not a place to walk around at night. Next time well save up and stay in downtown boston
Not a far drive to downtown boston. Free parking. Rooms are decent. Came for st pattys weekend, last minute booking day of trip.
The staff was very helpful and very nice .. I would stay there again
My daughter was asked to leave by the manager on duty at 3 30 am after they let a young man who was drunk was allowed to just come up to her room o SAFETY!!!! NEVER AGAIN
Heating unit in room was not effective
Courteous and helpful front desk staff, airport shuttle drivers friendly and courteous.
i requested Car service the night before and it didn't get put in
The staff were warm and friendly The room was beautifully put together
The location is far away from downtown
The only complaint I have is the fact that the sink is not inside of the bathroom, it is outside of the bathroom which drove my man crazy but other than that, it was nice!!
Try Phillips chocolate shop which is literally 3 blocks away from there. Their fudge is awesome!! The room in this hotel also was very clean, it got a little noisy (you can hear people through the walls) but I am use to that because I am from NYC.
BREAKFAST - VERY POOR
STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL. LAUNDRY ON HOTEL PREMISES
Bed was not that comfortable and the room must been located close to employee/housekeeper staging area because early next morning we were woken up by noise of this and couldn't not fall back asleep.
The eggs were the worst and they should provide cheese.
So impressed! I am used to 4 & 5 star hotels; but we were only using this hotel to sleep. Clean, up to date, and the staff was GREAT! They even give you great coupons ! We went bowling and it came to $50...ouch. then we presented the coupon from the hotel and the price was cut in half. A must stay, great value and the pictures do no justice.
Breakfast timing need to be extended till 10.30
Shuttle facility I like as there are no nearest station and room was of good. Even though I check out last with out informing the staff they don't change extra
- Shuttle bus to/from the JFK/UMass train station - Comfort of room - Silent (asked for a room on opposite side of railroad) - Take-out food from China Sky restaurant in the evening (5min drive) - Good value for money
in the middle of nowhere, and very difficult to walk anywhere from the hotel. Limited restaurant options in the immediate vicinity.
they have a shuttle to the T line so you can get around.
It is near a railroad and early in the morning we listened to an unpleasant noise
The key card should deactivate daily. Cannot pay cash, only credit card or debit card.
Free shuttle bus to and from airport as well as to nearest subway station. It's only 4 stops to the down town and surrender by many supermarkets ans restaurants. The hotel is clean and quiet with very good people at the reception, ready to help anytime.
We had to come home.
The staff were ALL friendly and cheerful for all 13 nights we stayed here. The rooms were very clean. Self Service Breakfast was included in the price. It was easy to find using Google navigation as first time visitor to the city. Convenient for some excellent restaurants - Freeport Tavern was within walking distance
Staff very congenial and helpful. Room clean and nicely updated - very comfortable.
Took maintenance 45 minutes to arrive to fix a broken toilet. Some things are inconvenient, a toilet is a necessity!
I hope you acknowledge and "reward" Troy Johnson, who helped me with a check-in difficulty (cost did not synch with my booking through a third party carrier). Also the toilet in my room was broken and it took maintenance 45 minutes to arrive. No one's fault. But I had been traveling for 18 hours and a broken toilet is unacceptable. Troy was apologetic, gifted me with a nice dinner and was a terrific help with questions about the hotel and area.
The shuttle service to the metro and airport! Good breakfast! Close to a dunkin doughnuts, subway and a grocery store!
The train passes by the window waking you up every 20 minutes !
