The view of the Empire State Building. Excelent location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Free coffee and tea. Good rates. Breakfast very poor. It's common that several itens run out, after 09.30 am, and are not replaced. Worst breakfast ever. |

Location, especially if you like vintage/antique shopping and a fun, urban vibe in the neighborhood but still a pretty quiet hotel. Room had 3 beds, which worked well for our party of four adults. Free wifi. We heard no traffic at all in our back-side room 409, though hallway noise was a bit noticeable. Third bed was a king that was too big for the small room it was in; one person had to scoot out of the bed which was only seven inches from the wall, and the bathroom door grazed the bed when you opened it on the other side. |

Having a Business Center at this hotel really helped me out of a jam. The front desk staff at both check-in and check- out were very helpful. Especially the check-in staff which allowed me to check-in 45 minutes early because the house keeping staff had my room ready. |

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The price was so-so. Change late check out time and get friendlier/more attentive staff. I was only given an extra 30 min!!! |

Easy to book, good location for us, generally helpful staff, lovely old building with good conservation of ceilings etc, fridge was very useful as was the safe. Breakfast served in disposable utensils and lots of waste plastic from jam, butter etc - an environmental nightmare as we are concerned about the future - you could have a selfserve dishwasher and save $ and the environment.Staff were not able to help us get taxi pickup as my husband had a badly sprained ankle. |

The location is very good. 50% of the staff were friendly and went the extra length to provide info and help, the rest curt and impolite. 1.front desk - 50% of the staff impolite. 2.bathroom - poor selection of toiletries, wash basin did not drain well and shower stream poor force |

Fabulous location close to 5th Avenue. Very comfortable beds to fall into after exhausting days of sightseeing and shopping. The bathroom hairdryer stopped working so we phoned down to Reception to report it and within minutes someone knocked on our door to inspect it, he left and returned with a new hairdryer unit.much to our delight. We asked for a non-smoking room but on of the first morning the bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. The window was closed so we were not sure how this had occured. We considered mentioning it to Reception but as every other aspect of the room was okay and we didn't want to have to pack up our bags & move to another room, we decided against it and it didn't happen again. |

Rooms were fine, clean and the staff was good. Good location for getting around. Within walking distance to a lot of attractions. Felt that the continental breakfast was chaotic - poor layout. Tight location. |
