We were in room 101 I believe. The dresser draw was full garbage, dirty paper plate, paper, pills. There was small white pills in the draw and at least 10 under the bed and in front of night stand, Mind you we had a 3 yr old with us!! The kitchen oven was on 400 degrees when we walked in. The counter tops were dirty, the ice bucket was dirty with crumbs and a hair strand. The floors were sticky. The closet floor was very dirty. This room was dirty!!!!! the lotions provived was had been opened and was used. There were only two staff members and they were young, they did there best but obviously has no skills in dealing with the situation. They were polite but at the same time it didn't seem to bother them and they didn't offer to get the room clean. When I asked they said the cleaning staff was gone, I asked for supervisor, there was not supervisor there. I asked, "so are we supposed to clean this room up and pick up pills and garbage?" the young staff male said he would do it, ok, thank you, but there was still no heartfelt caring emotions from the two staff that made us feel like they cared. We had to be there, everything was booked, my 16 yr old daughter was in the Miss America Parade that weekend. Our stay was 9/12/14-9/13/14. Our second day no one came to us and apologized or said we will take care of this. I saw a cleaning staff the the second day and spoke to them my self and explained how dirty the room was and if they could please clean it and I tipped her. I had no time to deal with staff or asking for a supervisor the second day and out check out day due to my daughters obligations with her dance school participating in the parade on AC board walk. Also we were happy to have restaurant right at hotel and we could not go on the 13th in the evening because there was a private event, they should advertise differently, that it is possible it could be closed to you as a paying hotel customer.
the room was updated and a nice room if was clean.
