Score from 36 reviews Wonderful
Unfinished rooms, non-working shower, prostitutes fighting outside my door in the middle of the night...
Location was near downtown and walking distance from shops and restaurants. The room was clean and better than we expected. Was provided with the little amenities that places in the same price range leave out, like a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and in good repare (no hump or sink in effect) Great value for the money.
WiFi was not strong enough to use. We were able to login to it with zero problems, but the signal was so low that wouldnt even load.
I came for my birthday to visit freinds, I'm from Seattle it was a great deal and right in downtown. Perfect!
The room overall was pretty spacious, it felt pretty secure, and there weren't many people there. It was near a cute coffee and breakfast place I could easily walk to in the morning. We checked in late and left early.
The front desk person was unfriendly at best and seemed really suspicious of my friend and I. There were light bulbs missing out of many of the fixtures, and the wi-fi connection was pretty weak.
This place is ok for an overnight stay.
As I was traveling and being out of state, the first time they ran my credit card, it got declined for security reasons. The check-in lady became fairly rude at that point. I said please wait for a second and I called the Credit Card company to confirm identity (all resolved within 5 minutes). The lady was not happy that I asked her to run the Card again. Of course, this time it got approved. This was around dinner time and I think I was interrupting their dinner. I am sorry. I won't bother her or this place again.
The room itself was clean.
The WiFi didn't work. The bathroom fan was missing a switch so did not work. the outlet near the sink and mirror did not work. The outer doors were dirty and in poor repair. The air conditioner was very noisy.
I like that the rates are low and we can afford to stay for a few days every month. If there is a problem the family or their managers always try to take care of it.
We stay at The Cabana Inn every month for work and in July we had not problem with the WIFI but in Aug we either couldn't get connected or stay connected to the WIFI. And even tho I had requested a ground floor rm when I had made my reservation they hadn't noticed and given us an upstairs. She gave us one after she checked to make sure I was telling the truth. I told her I always do because my husband has a bad back.
I liked almost everything
The only thing is how outside of property looks rundown
The staff was helpful and the room fit my needs.
clean and comfortable, low price, walking distance to downtown
Helpfulness of owner.
Clean room, good location.
The fridge didn't work, and the walls were pretty thin, we could here the baby next door to us crying most of the night.
You can beat the price. We were comfy and able to walk to bars and restaurants.
The owner was very nice and friendly. Polite and respectful. Also helpful. Bedding was clean.
The room was not very good at all. Old stained toilet and tub. No bathroom fan, missing lightbulb for lamps. Stained towels, burn hole in blanket (we were in a non smoking room). Remote for t.v. not working. Furniture worn and chipped. No coffee for coffee pot had to go ask. Soap and shampoo only for one.
Bed was comfi. Room well sized. Distinct retro feel.
Bottom bed sheet too narrow to tuck in & the pad was a blanket. Had to wake & remake several times a night. Driveway difficult to navigate, due to one-way streets. Items used during evening were not replaced next day.
Nobody spoke English. The parking lot was full with people from the hotel just hanging out. I didn't feel safe at all
Location for the money.
Somewhat shabby physically
PRICE OKAY, CONVENIENT LOCATION
SORTA RUNDOWN, TRAFFIC NOISE
Low cost, proximity to Boise State
Traffic noise. Room was marked non smoking but it was apparent it had been smoked in.
Room had a king bed but fitted poorly with queen sheets and blankets. No hair dryer. Carelessly decorated.
Good location. Clean room.
The woman who ran the front desk was unfriendly throughout my stay. I'm not sure if she was a co-owner. Not sure why she was unfriendly. Oh, and many of the towels were pretty stained but that mean lady protected them like they were spa quality!
Location and price
Wi-Fi poor and installations are old.
They were trying to fix up the place themselves, old furniture stacked out in the parking lot. currently it needs a lot of work.
The room and bathroom were fithy-and their were stains all over the carpet. I had to clean the bathroom before taking a shower and the rag was filled with dirt and hair after a once over with it--pretty gross..
Very worn out room.
