    Location, cleanliness, resident manager was friendly

    Loud throbbing music originating from the gym next door starting at 6 am! No house keeping! No fresh towels during 3 night stay! Narrow

    1) Fridge in the room. 2) Location next to a stop of the Cable Car, where it is not so crowded, so always possible to get on-board without waiting. 3) Some nice bars nearby (check out Polk street).

    1) No any cleaning of the rooms during stay (I've stayed there for almost two weeks). 2) It is also next to the worst district of the town (if you walk from the Market street, the central street of SF, to the hotel, you'll see all kinds of poor, homeless dirty people on the way). 3) A guard on the doors after 22:00, and no-guests after 22:00 policy. Finally, I have not tried to bring anybody, so don't know, whether they are strict about it, but if I stay in a double room alone, I feel like being able to bring someone for a night, if I am up to.

    The place is at the hub of San Francisco. Different destinations are easily accessible from this place. Decentplace to spend the night.

    The place doesn't operate as a hotel. No one maintains the room if you need cleaning and the reception is only open on certain hours of the day. Requires a security deposit which they did not divulge during the booking. Full payment for the entire stay is made in advance.

    It is a secure apartment. There are microwave and medium size refrigerator.

    There is no WiFi signal in the room. We have to go downstairs into the public place for Internet. The size of bedroom is small. And, the staffs clean the room once a week. They usually cannot do in time when you call room cleaning.

    The room for the price and location was OK. I don't need much from a hotel, just a decent bed and clean room.

    There was absolutely no customer service. The staff was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. We were in town for business and had a late flight going home at 8:30pm. We asked for a late check out because we really didn't have anywhere to put our luggage while we enjoyed the city, they said no, anything after 12noon we would need to pay for a full extra day. We couldn't afford that and understood that they needed to get the room cleaned. So we asked if they could store our luggage somewhere so we could go enjoy our last day in the city without dragging our bags around town. The manager said no they have no room. We politely tried to figure something out and the manager refused to help us at all. We gave up and went to breakfast, we ran a little late coming back and the manager refused to give me my deposit back and continued to hound us until we left. Stranded on the side of a San Francisco street with all our luggage. Other things that happened during our stay ... we asked for change at the front office for a $10 bill since my girlfriend didn't feel well and wanted some water and crackers from the vending machine. The staff said no that money was only for their customers ... as far as I knew we were customers paying good money to stay there, but oh well. The janitor over heard and helped us out. He looked like he was fed up with the staff as well. When we arrived to the hotel no one was there, the first lady we found was not helpful and also refused to store our luggage anywhere until check in. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I'd much rather stay in a motel 6 or similar. I will not be back.

    12 O Clock check out time.

    I felt like the elevator was going to break on me. The blanket was thin and there was no heater. It was cold despite being July. Due to being near downtown, it was very loud. A king bed was advertised, I received a full. There was a dead bug on the sink.

    Quiet room Location Value compared to other hotels in area

    When I checked out in the morning there was nobody to turn in my keys to, so left them in room. I then received a call later that day that I had not checked out on time. I told them there was nobody there at 0700 to check out with and I left the keys in the room.

    The place was clean and close to where we wanted to go.

    They wouldn't let us bring our bikes into the hotel. They say this on the terms and conditions, but he was quite rude about it. There is definitely spaces bikes could be kept in the building. Also he wouldn't let us into the building to check in. We needed to wait outside until another guest let us in, even though the guy running the desk was in the office.

    funny and great people there fair deal for that money. 1 $ drinks at lobby good district - good location in san francisco

    some wlan booster would be a great investment. because i got it in room too - but with very low connetionspeed.

    Nothing!

    Everything! This area is not safe. Homeless people and trash everywhere. Receptionist looks like she just woke up. No combed hair, smelled horribly, super slow and did not smile. As soon as I walked in, I thought I was living the horror movie Quarantine. No was no ac so our room was dying hot. We slept on the 4th floor and the elevator took atleast 10 minutes. My husband and I couldn't do anything because the stairs were closed off for painting. The "hotel" stink so much. Our room was super slanted and when we place our water bottles in the fridge, it kept rolling out. The pictures are exteemely deceiving! Room is super small, dirty, walls were so sticky and bathroom had stains. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Because it was hot, we thought it would be a good idea to have the window open. SO WRONG. We ended up staying up all night due to the noise and humidity.

    The location is convenient Lots of cabs around Room was clean Hotel Manager is very friendly Fridge + Microwave

    Very noisy area (fire trucks, cable car, drunk people etc.) Internet ONLY in the room 107 (ground floor) Hotel Manager is not easily available (no reception desk, need to knock at her door if something happens) Housekeeping was done only 1 time in 8 days

    Erkan, the manager who checked me in, oriented me to the property, and checked me out, was very nice and personable who showed interest and concern for my needs and accommodations. The night and weekend worker was less friendly/helpful, but possibly sleep-deprived or "having a bad day" on the occasions we interacted. Other reviews commented on problems with having to return before 8PM to get into the hotel. Without hesitation, Erkan issued me a keyless remote with my room key that allowed me to arrive after 8PM and enter the metal gate that barred the front door. That worked well! Having a Trader Joe's and a hardware (and everything else) store within one block were great assets! I felt safe coming and going around the hotel and no one approached me or made me uncomfortable there, but, of course, San Fran has many people who are in misfortune and are "on the streets" everywhere, necessitating some awareness and walking with others. The shared bath facility for the four rooms was clean with good hot water, and it was available virtually every time I to enter. Having a sink and mirror in the private room with my bed was positive in light of what "shared bathroom" may have meant elsewhere. The frig and microwave in the room worked as desired. As a single occupant there four nights for a conference at the convention center, I was pleased with this location on California Street, and not being there to impress anyone with the opulence of the place where I slept each night, I would recommend it to others. The lobby had a comfortable sofa and chairs for meeting and talking. The rooms with the shared-bath were in the basement, and there was quiet at night for sleeping. Erkan offered to move me to a unit upstairs with a private bath and was nice enough to show me one of those rooms before I left in consideration of returning on a trip with my wife.

    The small room had a double bed. Still, there would not have been room for my wife in there, unless finances couldn't afford any more. There was no clothes rack to hang up shirts, slacks, dresses, or jackets that you will want to wear later, and not even a hook or towel rack on the back of the door or on the wall to hang a sweaty shirt or a wet towel after showering. In the shared bathroom, there was a short towel rack across from the shower, but no shelf, towel rack, or other hook (on the walls or on the back of the door) on which to place the clothes one will be putting on after showering. It is a small, but an inconvenient thing when traveling that especially many women would dislike. The TV was old style and the picture quality was poor, but it received a dozen or so channels and this was not the price of the Fairmont down the street.

    Just location.

    This hotel is the worst hotel I've ever seen.very rude staffs. No clean rooms. Elevator doesnt work for the 4th floor. Wifi wasn't available at room.

    Location - easy for walks to many places in the city and conveniently located for public transportation. Comfortable lounge room with wireless Internet. Staff were very helpful. Room was functional with a good sized bathroom.
