I though cable car offered a great value for the price. Room was nice. I liked the decor - simple and minimalist. Great location in nob hill in the center of everything, short walk to union square and Powell street station. This is not an upscale hotel by any means However it offers exceptional value for the price. I definitely plan on returning For my next trip to San Francisco.

Cheap hotel and really good if you want as me, to visit San Fra,cisco and only spend the night in the hotel and spend all the day in the city. It could be cleaner and it could smell better in the room but perfect for the price and the manager is really cool and nice.

Noise and constant fights and screaming and arguing from the desperate drug adicts and that type of person the hotel rents to. In my opinion it has gone down hill since my stay there about three years ago. You can't just rent to anybody, and constant yelling and fighting should be grounds for immediate removal. I wo't stay there again. I shouldn't have to be around someone's violence at 3:00 in the morning. You need a more professional staff that can weed these people out. Iknow who they arejust by looking at them, and you would too, if you gave a shit.

The staff of Cable Car Court Hotel is excellent. The people that work there really do the best for you. The apartments are small, but are good enough for a couple. You can access the Internet only in the lobby of the hotel.

Price and location. Not a wonderful five star like hotel but fair enough for the price. Can't use internet in the room even I'm willing to pay for it like what other hotels do. Free wifi avalible only in the lobby and the wifi is quite weak and slow. Otherwise, fair treat.

I thought the rooms were nicely designed with modern colors, exceptionally clean and very peaceful. They were equiped with nice fridge, microwave and tv. They provided us with soap, shampoo and even hair products which is hard to find in any weekly. Great laundry room on site. Clean throughout entire hotel and you had the feeling you were renting an apartment rather than a hotel. Convenient and secure entry, great staff, and I just really enjoyed my stay! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Centrally located to all shops, businesses and transportation! You cannot go wrong renting here!

There are a lot of reviews that slate this place, after reading them and visiting it I came to the conclusion that those people must of been expecting the Ritz - which for the price you pay is ridiculous. My boyfriend and I were on a budget holiday, wanted something cheap and cheerful and that's basically what we got. It's not a 'tourist' hotel but that didn't matter. The rooms could of been cleaned more frequently - but it was a good price, good location had a fridge & microwave which was handy. And free wifi which Im surprised people have the cheek to complain that it's only in the lobby. It's free so stop complaining! The only things that did stick out were the weird smell in the lobby/reception and no security boxes.

The gentleman at the front desk knew my name and called me by it. I had a late check in (after midnight) and the night manager was very nice about letting me in. My first room was in the basement and had no bathroom. (Shared bathroom) It was a small room and had a bad order. If was very unpleasant. The next moring they changed my room to a better one with a bath. I would suggest staying there in one of their rooms with a bathroom. It costs slightly more.
