Great pool & gardens! Super clean room, comfortable, free wi-fi.

No breakfast onsite.

After a long road trip,I was tired and irritable,but the efficiency and friendliness of the young male who checked me into my room, and who later assisted me when I accidentally locked myself out of the room, made everything OK!Maritza gets five stars for customer service!Thiswas not my first stay at Caliente and I would do so again.

Loved the tiki huts by the pool!

Bed and Pillows were comfortable.

Crack head followed us to our room and knocked at door with no shirt and plastic flowers in his hand and pacing back and forth.. We called front desk they never answered we called police and they never did drive by either. Poor!! We saw several other suspicious people hanging in and out of rooms. This man continued to walk around looking for other people and we warned other women returning from pool not to open their door.

Palm Springs.

The air conditioning unit was filthy... disgusting. There were no more than 2 people working at any given time. Luckily we didn't need much. But if we had... good luck! Pool was pretty dirty too.

The Tropics was recently remodeled: New paint, new floors, new bathroom. The AC was working well and kept the room comfortable even in the 97 degree heat. The beds were comfortable, and the ambiance was fun and unique. The new on site gym was also also useful.

The only down side came when checking in when my door card-key took three tries to program correctly. luckily my room was not far the office-lobby. (but this place was excellent).

I liked the theme. I liked the fact that is is budget friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The little frig is a great thing for a traveler to have access to. The coffee in the morning was great. A blow dryer wonderful. I liked that the tv could be pulled out a bit and turned for easy viewing.

I think the tv remote needed batteries or was broken changing chanels was not that easy. And the lamp near the chair did not turn on. I personally do not like alot of mirrors around the bed. It freaks me out but that is just me.

Really helpful staff especially Steven and Sadie, great deal on the internet late booking. Good pool and good location in Palm Springs.

The pool and spa were nice, parking was very convenient, and your lobby was nicely decorated. The granite shower in the room's bathroom looked lovely, and I was happy there were no bedbugs. Early check in was available. WiFi was helpful!

I was initially sent to the wrong room. No elevators meant I carried luggage upstairs before realizing it. No restaraunt/bar Room smelled and badly needs an upgrade. Shower didn't work very well. Water pressure was not good and there's only one spot on the knob that makes the water hot. Horrible. AC unit didn't fully cool the room. Located above the mirrored sink, my hair dried from it while I did my make up, not how I wanted it. Overall I won't be back unless the rooms are rennovated and the price goes down, and the restaurant is open. This hotel has a lot of potential. Upsetting it didn't WOW me.

The rooms were up to date and beautiful with quick access to the pool. It is a throwback to the type of place we stayed as kids but everything was in fine shape and the amenities were way more for the money

No Restaurant or bar on premises but plenty other options close by.

Reservations were a little frustrating I needed a room down stairs for health reasons I can,t do stairs. I stated this when I made the reservations a week ahead of time but at check in I wasen' sure I'd get my room .also would have been nice to have food at the hotel.

Would have been good to have a bar, shop cafe on site. Bit of a walk to the main area.

Great location, pool is amazing

Blinking red light on phone wouldn't go off. Lost water for about 3 hours because of some kind of problem.

We had a suite with 2 queen beds. It was a nice size and the decor was nice, in line with the Polynesian theme. The staff was attentive to our needs, quieting down a loud group after hours when we complained. The pool and spa were clean and large, in a really beautiful setting of palm trees and foliage. It was close enough to walk to Palm Canyon Drive where the main restaurants and shops were and also in the other direction on E. Palm Canyon where there is a grocery store and Subway and a few small restaurants. There was a Palm Springs book (in our room) with original architecture and it was fun to compare what was still there as opposed to what had existed. A lot of closed places - sign of the times.

Old TV in the room, bath tub faucet leaked, small exercise room, the door handle on the room was loose and gave us trouble upon entering, smoking allowed in close proximity to the rooms, it would have been nice to have a restaurant on the grounds for room service and having drinks by the pool. It looked like there used to be one.

The room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable and the pool was very nice. Location was great.

The hotel needs to get their internet service to be reliable throughout the property. I was only able to access the wifi in the lobby.

Easy check in, nice rooms for the price, always had a good parking spot, overall would stay here again.

Shower took a long time to heat up. Lots of little kids, maybe because it was spring break, but they dominated the pool splashing around and very loud and they were loud outside of our room at 9am running around.

The pool area was nice. The bed was comfortable. It was fine for 2 nights.

This was a older 2 story motel. The door key card reader was hit or miss. There was no double lock on the door. Our room had a hole in bathroom wall. No bathtub.

Checking in was fast and easy even if we got there at midnight. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. Walking distance to some good restaurants.

The shower curtain in the bathroom was too short to cover the strong surge of water from the shower. The bathroom was very small.

Room had everything I needed; there was also a separate bedroom. I didn't use the pool but they had one.

No one explained all that was available on site. Not until I was checking out did I see the tourist brochures, the bar, etc.

Cose to everything we wanted to do

We were very much overcharged at $148 including taxes per day. It was very noisy. The room was cramped. No privacy from people outside. Their advertizing is very misleading. No breakfasts. Resturant closed. We also knew that others where paying $80 and under for same type room.

It was clean.

old and high priced for the condition of the place and basically no other services. Poor wifi. Check in was slow and tedious.

I was expecting a hotel and it was a motel. Not impressed. Kind of a hokey motif. The room smelled when we opened the door and the fan over the bed was odd. Had friends staying with us on subsequent nights and almost cancelled.
