Like that I can walk over to Main Street Station on overpass. Like that your not right on Fremont St. and have to listen to the rock band play till 2:00 AM in the room
Rubbed the Budda's belly by the elevator for good luck. Didn't work
The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very professional and kind.
The room we stayed in was a bit dirty. The bathroom had hair all over the walls and the shower curtain was very torn up. It was difficult to shower without getting water everywhere.
Only 1 clerk at check-in, wait time was not acceptable
Always clean , the food good.
The place and the facilities could use an upgrade.
Food choices and location.
The bed was very comfortable
Food selection was outstanding.
Dinner buffet at Main Street wasn't as good as I had hoped.
Room was clean and comfortable - providing good value.
Casino was thick with cigarrette smoke. Staff was less than motivated to assist. Food was of the greasy grill variety.
Clean, cosy and nice old style hotel. Buffet in Main St Station is very good (breakfast was included). Location is perfect for us: a block from Freemont st and bus stop to go to Strip by SDX bus ($8 day pass, $20 3 day pass) or to Strip and LAS airport WAX,CX !! ($5 day pass).
May be noisy in room (freeway and trains). We found no better place (price and quality) to eat on Freemont than in Main Steet Station Buffet)!
No accountability for cleanliness. More concern that you parked in a VALET parking spot.!!!
Everyone was helpful. Very clean and outstanding rooms
No free wifi
Location,steak house very good
The hotel was satisfying, the staff was nice and smiley. We were lucky to get a free buffet breakfast with our room which was excellent! The room was quite spacious, clean and had everything you need during a short stay. The hotel has a huge parking where you can leave your car. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was supplied with a hairdryer, a shower, there were all the necessary mini packs of the essentials. We didn't use the paid wifi so can not say anything about it. We liked it very much!!!
The halls smell of cigarettes. There was no kettle in our room but it's not a really big drawback. The only problem of the hotel is its location: it's close to the highway and easy to reach when you just enter the city, but if you want to see the most popular and advertised places in Las Vegas you'll have to take a car and have a ride.
The rooms where awesome. plenty of room for two people or a small family.
only person at front desk, waited in line over 20 min to check in.
Good room, spacious, great toiletries, good location - a block away from Fremont street, free drinks at the casino (can't go wrong with that). Over all a good experience.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the walls are too thin. I could hear the tv from the next room over, could hear ppls conversations as they were walking down the hall.
Friendly Staff, Good value for the dollar. [Just don't expect breakfast to be free].
Very difficult to find parking in the garage. The Hotel advertises free parking, but don't expect to park in the garage. The hotel smells of smoke, but then all of the hotels in Las Vegas smell like smoke. The Breakfast is a voucher allotment of 17.00, but to use it, you have to travel to another facility and on weekends the offered breakfast is a brunch, which costs 24.00 for 2 people, but travelling with 4 people like we were, meant it would cost about 30.00 after using the voucher, for what is supposed to be a free breakfast.
Most everything, bed was comfortable pillow not so much but over all it was good. I could tell the room was old but it was well keep. The water was very hard but such is life.
The room smelled strongly cigarrets and were noisy (AC very old).
Close to freemont experience.
food was ok but not good. Stayed in two rooms walls are thin and could here everything in the hall. No coffee pot. over all was ok but would try another hotel downtown next time.
Location and easy access to parking lot
Lack of free wifi and in-room coffee machine.
comfort of the bed
feces and urine all over the bathroom. had to have housekeeping come and clean what I refused to clean.
Price and location were great!! Room was updated and comfortable. We will stay here on our next trip to vegas for sure. The strip sucks! Old dowtown is alive and kicking and with fremont street walking distance is perfect for us.
Love the location in downtown. Parking was convenient, access to freeway was easy. Felt at home, like Vegas is truly the 9th Hawaiian island. Love to play Keno there! Love that it adjoins Mainstreet station. It's less smoky than in years past, I would actually say some casinos on the strip are much more smoky.
The room was really far from the elevator. Two elevators in West tower were out of service when we checked in. It made for some really long waits, since only 1 elevator was in service. I wish there were more selection of slots. My friend was disappointed there was no top dollar slots. There was a wait to play the popular 25 cent wheel of fortune.
Room rate was best; so was restaurant value with limited choices, though. Great oxtail soup!
