Calypso Boutique Hotel  

Ummmm.....

If you don't mind staying in a place as big as your bedroom closet...it's perfect. Also, staff does not speak english and had to find the sign that finally directed across the sreet to the other hotel where you had to go to check in.

Comfortable room 1/2 block from boardwalk.

Low water pressure in shower.

Included an (old) microwave and a (barely working) fridge.

Old equipment (Microwave and Fridge). Old TV with HD channels? What's the point? Toilet seat is cracked in half. Room is not that clean. Still using keys instead of door card. Tiny parking across the street. I stayed at much better hotels at this price. Whoever rated this hotel good and gave it its stars is a moron.

Calypso Boutique Hotel was at a great location and offered a great price. The room was actually a lot larger than expected or what was shown in the pictures. My boyfriend booked the standard room with a double bed and were pleasantly surprised to find there was also a couch, small dining table and small kitchenette. The fact that the bathroom was not cramped was an added plus as well.

Parking was on the opposite side of the street. Not really exactly a deal breaker however.

The Calypso Boutique hotel is a walking distance from the beach and boardwalk. The staffs are friendly. It's a very budget hotel.

The room in the Calypso Boutique hotel is dirty and smelly (need to use air freshener). My 2 yrs old kids is afraid to go/stay in. To our bad luck, our room is in the back and next to the garbage trash pin and it's smelly from both inside and outside. The parking is very difficult to find.

The location was very good. Two blocks from the boardwalk.

The was a musty smell in the room. The toilet was not clean. There was dirty and old forks and knives in the draw. The door entering the room looked like it had been tampered with before and din't look secure. The furniture was old and worn. This place needs alittle renovation before I would recommend it. Would never go there again.

The price was terrific - and the room was really an efficiency apt. With kitchenette, bedroom, and sitting room. 2 short blocks to the boardwalk. Easy access to driving routes to Cape May or other shore points. Parking was a bit inconvenient - but not really a problem. Room was very clean and staff were great. Will definitely stay again.

Some of the front desk people at the Quebec - where you check in - were not terribly friendly.

The price.

The location wasn't great. It smelled of smoke at the entrance. The parking wasn't convenient. There was no semblance of security at the door. The office was across the street, so who was keeping an eye on who came and went?

Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit hôtel beau, bon, pas cher à 2 pas de la plage. Belle terrasse sur le toit. Sympathique coin à l'arrière avec BBQ et ensemble patio. Le tout est sans frioritures mais tout de même très bien pour le prix.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean.

The hallway seemed dingy and dim. The room was tiny although adequate. The tv remote did not work.

-Wildwood was not a very nice city to stay in compared to all the others further south (at a local restaurant, a local came in and complained he got robbed the other day) -Room was outdated and small, some fixtures broken and old -Is not a three star hotel... Two star at best -Not secure- no key card entrance or front desk in building -Other guests smoked in some of rooms, wafted into ours -Not really as advertised... -Rooms were not as well insulated from outside noises as they should have been

Shower head in the bathroom had scaly buildup. It should be replaced.

I know it was off season but no attendant at the hotel. We had to go opposit hotel to check-in. The bathroom did not have heat and widnow was opened. Very very cold.

Even though I did not stay long, it offered a lot. I had one of the smaller rooms and it had a couch, table and chairs, and a kitchenette. It did not cost a lot and was close to the boardwalk.

I feel like the room could have been better updated.

Liked that you were able to hang out on the roof top they made a deck on top with tables and chairs ,location is great ,price and was good .

You get what you pay for .Hotel needs to be professionally cleaned from soap scum to what looks like to me just never cleaned oh let's not forget the black mold outside of that and not having my car towed for not being parked in the right hotel parking lot because you would figure a parking lot on either side of the building would probably mean one of them was there lot of course not u have to park across the street in a different hotels lot with a tag in your window or they will tow you I almost forgot the front desk is across the street it's a different hotel cool but not !!!!!strange guess no one to blame for the lack of class and cleanliness . Not to satisfying of a say especially from what I was told over the phone from the hotel about my stay in the hotel with my wifeand how accommodating it will be not to sure about that.

the fact that the room was too small for 2 beds. the toilet was running poorly, and the towels were old and not very clean.

Tiny beds. Heard every action done by neighbors. Not very secure. Would never stay there again
