The size of the room the staff was really nice and the pool area

I really enjoyed the service, staff was very nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the continental breakfast, it was amazing.

I didn't like the fact that when we checked in at 930 pm, there was a security door in the back by our room that was open. There was a couple that were staying in an RV and they just didn't look like they were supposed to be there. Very suspicious and uncomfortable for me.

We really enjoyed the nice breakfast.

The air unit above us dripped on our air unit and made a loud drip noise all night long. Very annoying.

Proximity to where we needed to be

The staff was unprepared and not guest focused. They seemed surprised that we were checking in and not prepared for us. One employee used the elevator right in front of us as they saw us coming and did not offer to let us have it. I thought that was rude. We could not open the window in our room because it had no screen and bugs were coming in. The ice machine was out of order on the ground floor and we were told that we needed to go to the 3rd floor to get ice.

For such a cheap price a reasonable breakfast is thrown in. Great if you are an early starter on a long drive as we were

Perfectly adequate for a stop over of one or two nights but not a place to spend a vacation. Too close to the freeway!

Good breakfast, place close to premium outlet.

I liked the location, and the decor. It is near an abundance of shopping and restaurants, amidst strawberry fields with easy on/off access to 101. Also in a great place for power-walking. The serve a hot breakfast including eggs, they also offer afternoon snacks.

It was noisy. A lot of kids. Wish they would have put them on one floor. We had a room with adjoining room a lot of noise thru the door, all kids in that room. Very noisy

The fact that the tv didn't work. We were transferred to another similar room. And the fact that the management made a unauthorized withdrawal from my debit account the day after we left, The reason given was a totally unfounded claim that we smoked in the room (a lie). Niether my 82 year old wife nor I (85 years old) smoke because we both have many infirmities and could not smoke if we wanted to. My 56 year old caretaker son also does not smoke because of lung problems. The whole process is a scam, and unless my money is returned immediately I will present the facts to the Ventura County District Attorney.

Staff not to friendly

When I raised the toilet seat up I found that some one had used the toilet and did not flush the toilet. Ther were no towels in the room when I called down I was told to come down stairs and get them as she could not leave the front desk. I would not stay at a Baymount inn ever again.

The size of the room was large.

Torn chair, no towels when we first arrived, when towels arrived, they were gray and stiff, rust on frame of bathroom door, shower was a mess,etc. This hotel needs a major overhaul.

This was a gem, an excellent find. A very large, comfortable room, excellent breakfast included in price, good parking and close to local amenities. All of this at a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Good staffs & economic

Located next to the hiway. The room was HUGE & clean. Breakfast is free and ok. Free parking on site, free wi-fi.

The Room was too hot. The air System was old and not enough cold Air. :0 Not enough towels. The Front Desk Clerk, couldn't locate my reservation quickly and she looked as she didn't know what she was doing.

Liked the big room.

For a non-smoking room it smelled like someone was smoking. The bathroom was full of mold around the shower area. The sink faucet was so dirty I was afraid to use it. All in all that had to be the worst bathroom I've seen ever in a hotel.

I booked a two bed room and got a one bes room. The shower head didnt work and i had to poor water on myself with the cups they leave out on the bathroom counter. Inlet the staff know and they did nothing to even try and accomodate my stay. Worst hotel room i have ever stayed in. The only i stayed was because all hotels were booked that jight for the oxnard salsa festival

The hotel room was spacious and fairly clean. The beds were not too comfortable, the springs kept poking me. I liked the snacks that were offered in the evening. The jacuzzi, although very warm, was very dirty. I thought the kitchen staff was kind of rude when I arrived for breakfast 5 minutes late (breakfast ends at one time on weekends and another time on weekdays so I got confused) and asked if I could get a plate. I was told "no, breakfast over", when clearly there were eggs and hash browns on the grill. I then asked for a piece of fruit, and was told "no". I probably won't stay at this hotel again, just because it's away from eating places and stores.
