Quaint little town of Camas, along with the Hotel, well just made the stay so enjoyable. Looking forward to the next trip up. Would highly recommend a stop along the way while traveling through the Pacific Northwest.
Simple, did not stay long enough to truly enjoy the rest of the amenities of both the Hotel as well as the restaurant and the surrounding eateries.
Location was excellent for walking to shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure. Cute breakfast atrium. Lots of breakfast choices. Quiet. We had dinner downstairs at Harvest - good too.
Excellent breakfast.Quality environments.
Stairs only to upper rooms
The room was comfy and clean. It was small, but just fine for us and our dog. The breakfast (included) was a nice surprise! Excellent room...and a great price.
Enjoyed staying in a small community in a convenient location. Harvest Restaurant (correct name?) in the same building was a huge plus, excellent meals.
Quaint... rustic... clean... friendly staff... superb continental breakfast.
Cars are parked on the strett or designed parking area; no elevator meaning all bags need to be carried to room; small rooms; paper thin walls; tiny beds...... That being said... it would be a nice niche hotel for a couple -- NOT a road weary traveller!
Location is perfect for traveling to Portland and Vancouver. Staff exceptionally nice and accommodating. Breakfast was an outstanding start to the day. Breakfast/gathering room perfect for small group to play games or visit anytime. Each room has it's own charm.
No elevator available to transport luggage up and down the stairs. The stairs are extremely steep and difficult for older adults, this should be noted on the website for future travelers. Breakfast should be available earlier than 8:00 a.m.
Comfortable Location Friendly staff Delicious breakfast
Train noise every 20-30 minutes throughout the night
An amazing place. A very artsy and historic location. First class treatment. A very short run to Portland.
Convenient location good breakfast and nice clean rooms very helpful and nice staff
Rooms a little small and would be nice to have a bathtub
Staff was friendly and accommodating . Our room was clean. We will definitely come back. Well worth the price.
Decor of rooms, look of hotel. Excellent remodeling job. Location.
Look, feel & location of the property and they honored the continental breakfast price at time of booking ($6) vs. $8 per person cost at check in.
Finding out the room didn't have air conditioning and "builder grade" materials used in the renovation - the building deserved better. You get what you pay for.
The breakfast at the Camus was fantastic. It included quiche, pastry, fresh fruits (the blueberries were fantastic), yogurt, cheese, toast, cereal, orange juice and coffee. Camus has a few blocks of nice pedestrian friendly streets, shops, and plenty of hanging baskets filled with flowers.
Someone's dog was crying and howling in the next room after 10pm, but a call to the front desk remedied the situation in about 20min.
—staff personable and helpful —management voluntarily made up for accidental double-book and re-room with four free breakfasts at no charge —atmosphere always friendly and safe
—upstairs kitchen opened later in the morning than desirable, but downstairs kitchen was great
Stylish renovation, Great service, cute 3-block old-town area which feels like Europe.
3 blocks from Paper Mill, which dominates the view. We had two rooms. The one without bath in the front was preferable. The one with bath in the back was cramped and very noisy from 6:00 AM on...
An excellent value for the price!
It was cute and quaint. Staff was friendly very helpful when we lost something and we had to get back in the room after checking out.
The walls were to thin our neighborhoods were nosey at midnight for about 20 min. And then at 7 am. The hotel provide ear plugs so the must know this is a common problem.
Very comfortable. Great location, in old down town.
Parking is down the street 1 and a half blocks way.
The moment we walk through the door the girl behind the desk was very happy and welcoming, she gave us reviews of great places to eat, drink and to visit. She showed us to our room and was the kind of person that should be greeting people. We will stay here again! Always have happy people staff and you can't miss.
It is noisy from the traffic outside and the train, cardoons closing. ( but that won't keep us from booking here again, we loved it here!)
It was perfect, and modestly prices to boot!
