Cannot comment on any aspect of the hotel since we couldn't stay there. Someone on the staff took our online reservation for two rooms but only marked us down for having reserved one. The hotel had no rooms left so after a long drive and a full day at the lake we came to find out we had no place to stay at 8:00pm. Completely ruined our vacation.
The room was amazing !!
The pools being closed, hot tubs
It was very modern and extremely clean.
Much more then we expected, booked a week in the summer to return. Thanks for a great stay!
The view was awesome!!!
Kitchen utensils were nasty and coffee cups were dirty!
the kitchenette was excellent and a nice surprise. Plenty of room for the two of us.
the skillet had been scratched up by previous guests and our eggs kept sticking and burning
The king bed was so comfortable, had coffee on my balcony every morning. The bathroom with the tile was beautiful, huge tile shower with dual shower heads. H. Toads was fun, loved our waitress. The room was so nice with the kitchenette, etc.
Wish we had better view, BUT, we did request King studio, away from the music venues, so I'm sure that came into play, where our room was overlooking the parking lot.
The location on/off the water & beauty of the hotel was really devine. Walking into the may foyer of the hotel was breath taking with the view of the lake out the grand windows that open out onto a terrace. Our kids favorite piece of the trip & most talked about was having H.Toads attached to the hotel & seeing/interacting with the bands & crew as they were setting up for the concert. The kids have already asked about going for the Foreigner concert during Labor Day weekend. Additionally the whole family loved the food at H.Toads & even brought our extended by water to see the place. Honestly overall the trip was well worth it & we'll definitely be back.
There were only a few draw backs ot the hotel & hopefully withe feedback can be fixed. The day of the concert there was an issue with parking & all the guest staying at the hotel are guaranteed gated parking however this wasn't the case. When we went to park the gentleman at the gate was not very forth coming with information but to state the lot was full & the gates were wide open. As I pressed the guy for more information all he could do was say there is free parking down the road. We had to go back into the hotel to retrieve the information of where to park at & how are we getting back to the hotel. My main concern with the communication was how it was presented to the guests as the family waiting on the front enterance of the hotel had been waiting for 2 hours for parking to open since they saw the free parking a distance from the hotel. We'll just say the overflow parking as they called it was not gated & everyone was parking in the lot. Additionally we observed a gang of kids messing with the boats/cars being parked in the lot along with the cops showing up on a breakin to a vehicle. My recommendations to the whole situation is only provide parking to the guest that are in the hotel & not the concert/bar guest with that said the boat slip folks that park over night should be in the overflow area as they're only paying for a slip versus the guest who are paying the larger expense to stay 3+ nights in the hotel. When we checked into the hotel we were under the impression that we had been given all the charges up front but that wasn't the case as additional charges not even mention were added. The facilities in the hotel are beautiful but in the description of the fully equiped kitchen needs to be rewritten. If the room holds 5 people then provide 5 plates/bowls/cups/eatery items...this business of only 3 of everything was nuts & we had to go check out items at the front desk.
This is the second time we have stayed in a year. Rooms are hug with excellent veiw! Very happy with the stay and will make this a place to come back to many more times on are visits to the lake.
I love everything about the resort!
Late night Noise
Staff was wonderful, food was great. Room was extremely nice and clean. Will go back in the future!
We stayed in a king studio room and it was roomy, clean and overlooked the lake. The staff was friendly and accommodating. For sure, we will be back again!
The food at H. Toads was average.
Beautiful views. Staff was very nice/professional/helpful.
More attention to detail could have been achieved in regards to cleanliness. One of our pillows had what appeared to be a blood stain, but who knows, maybe it was just marinara sauce. The shower heads were corroded with calcium buildup. Remote controls for TV and fireplace were all beat up and the batteries didn't work. Little things.... But for the price, the attention to details should not be disregarded; especially, in a luxury suite. Overall, I'm still very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this place, and I do plan on going back.
View of the lake, room layout and features like a kitchenette and TV in the bathroom, dual head shower.
cobwebs in the corner of the living room window, remote control for bathroom TV looks a little grimy. Dust on the dishes.
I loved the view, the shower.
The sofa in the sitting room is very uncomfortable, so much so that I moved the desk chair in to watch the football game. The sofa keeps you sliding off onto the floor if you do not keep readjusting yourself.
